Starting my second Indoor grow with a pure original after the last one with fb Pineapple Express turned out amazing and delivered astonishing 40g of dried bud despite the tiny plant. This time I work with a 30L pot with 120g of organic powder nutrients in the soil and will keep an eye on VPD.
I slowly decreased the distance of the lamp over the first day of week one, reaching 600PPFD on day 12. This beauty developed well during the first two weeks so I topped her on day 16. My tent is only 120cm high so I always need to to some height management.
The plant grew a lot of leaves and as we‘re about to enter flowering, I decided to do some defoliation and increased the light intensity over a couple of days up to 850…1100PPFD and 50DLI, depending on the branch. Since day 36 the plant is now in bloom.
She’s now in week 3 of bloom and the buds start to thicken up. As the buds need light and air now, I bent down some of the outer branches this week at day 47 to give the canopy more space. She took it well and takes up the whole 60x60 surface now. Smell is rather weak yet.
We successfully completed week 8 and things are starting to get interesting. The buds have grown significantly in size over the last days and the smell has gotten much stronger. I think I also need a new air filter… The leaves did some coloring in the past week which makes this beauty look even more handsome. I optimized the air intake of my tent this week by replacing my one 100mm tube with two 130mm 3d printed light traps so breathing is much easier now and the vent can run a bit less fast.
Week 9 and the buds are getting thicker and thicker. And what an amazing color she has! Trichomes are still a little underdeveloped (all milky or clear) so I decided to give her another week. I’m aiming for a nice body effect with this one so I definitely need some more amber ones. Smell is amazing so far! Very sweet and „blueberrish“ with a hint of mint :) really looking forward trying this one!
