so far the plants look good. first time using humboldt seeds and I have to say germination was terrible. wasted about 4 seeds, they just wouldn't open up. Hoping the quality Will make up for that. next time I would gently sand the seed wall to help with absorption. the plant on the left is at about four weeks since germination was an issue. both plants are topped twice and have had a week to rest before changing to the bloom light.
The plant does have a veg smell so the filter will be getting turned on today. im running an air Fan on the plants for about 10 minutes every half hour.
last week of sensi grow. time to flush and change to sensi bloom.
Look great. My 280 watt led wasnt filling the tent. Was lucky enough to borrow a 130 watt off my buddy mckush420 to add. Going to hit them with some canna pk on the next feed. Hopefully will set off the flowering. Both are feminized and i can see the stretch already taking place at wewk 6.
Had some signs over underwatering on the smaller plant. Seems much better from yesterday. This week i fed the plant with the regular nutients, cal mag and canna p/k 13/14. The canna i will use on two feedings. The phosphorus and potasium will give a quick boost to the flowers. Doing anymore than two feedings will likily burn the roots. Im impressed with what the canna did in just two nights. The pics are taken at the end of the days light cycle so the leaves have dropped a bit, plant is sleeping and everything looks good.
All done with the canna p/k. Seems to have made a big differance in just a week of flowering. Next time i would probably veg another 2 weeks to get some more height, but then again my name is bushdoctor.
This week i noticed on the big plant i have some purpleing of the bigger fan leaves. I scewed one watering by not ph ing my water. Possibly causing what could be a nute lock out. The temperature in the room is at about 20 degrees c, little cold but in that case it shouldnt effect anything. Since last weekends feeding ive flushed both plants out twice with ph ed water. Today i fed them with only sensi bloom.
Could possibly be the genetics of the plant. I dont have it on the small plant but it is roughly a week behind the bigger one. Since i only have a couple weeks left im not to worried. Just have to pay close attention to the buds.
Buds have stacked up nicely. Gave them a good feeding right after i took these pics. The green smaller one is now showing some signs of purpling. The spectrum on the bigger plant is quite a bit more intense than the smaller plant and light. The red hairs are just starting to show face. Will have to pay cloae attention to the trichomes and decide when to flush. For now. Feed and bread.
Leaves are starting to yellow and fall. Red hairs are coming in. Plant smell like crazy.
Just fed with bloom again. Might be the last one for the big plant.
Plants look great. Leaves are still dropping, hairs are getting even darker. Trichomes are still clear. Noticed some bleeching on a couple top buds from when i had the light a little to low. Had to add a bit more soil starting to pack in there pretty good. The stems holding each crown is incredibly strong.
Was thinking i was on my last feed but i gave them one more. Trichomes are clear as day. Starting the flush as of now. I missed a watering so the leaves sagged. They both recovered within an hour. Gunna say 1 to 2 weeks out. Water only from here.
Obviously have a little bleeching going on but im only worried about whats inside. Had the light to close a couple weeks ago and ya obviously learn as ya go. Cant be more than happy. The buds are putting on more weight than ever. The close ups are done on my phone. Obviously not as good as the real thing. Check out the tripples down low.
Was just about to harvest. Today is tuesday. In day 2 of no lights. Tomorrow is the day. Check out the close ups. On the bright side i purchase a cmh today for the next grow. Will post some more picks as i cut hopefully tomorrow. Soil is still wet from last flush. One more wont hurt.
This has been a great grow with a great harvest. No idea what im gunna do with almost a half pound. Hard to believe the yeild these small plants put out. Next grow is with cmh light.
