Menicucci250 Day One:
Balanced PH levels of the water to 6.5-6.7
Planted in 5 gallon fabric pot
Using Bioflower 365-No nutes yet
Sprayed with 6 cups of water to saturate all of the soil for the first water
Set grow light at 50%. Light shut off in the middle of the night, no idea how that happened as it should've been on a timer. Turned it back on at
6:30AM and off at 5PM. Turning back on and possibly watering at 11PM. No sprout yet, too early.
This morning, temp was 70 degrees, humidity at 59% dropping pretty significantly. Hopefully that didn't ruin the seed.
Turned back on humidifier again in the afternoon, temp kept above 70 degrees and around 70% humidity.
Day Two:
Checked soil moisture at around 8AM, it was pretty dry. Gave it 6 cups of PH balanced water.
Don't Recall Temp and %, but they were at perfect levels. I think around 74-75 degrees with roughly 70% humidity.
Turned down humidifier a while later since it was at 76% and climbing.
No sprout yet, not nutes.
Day Four:
Still no sprouts. Good temp and humidity when checking this morning. Will be putting a humidity dome over my seed if it's not sprouted yet. EDITE: Checked again when I got home around 5:30PM and we have a sprout! We are officially now in seedling phase. So exciting! Temp was around 74 Degrees, humidity at 74%. Continuing normal watering until Week 2 when we add nutes.
Day Five:
6AM-Sprout has now turned up towards the light and spread is cotyledons. Temp at 74 Degrees, humidity at 71%. Going to check again later today when I get home and will check moisture levels, which seem great for now. Will start spraying soil instead of trying to penetrate it with water. Still no nutes as stated earlier, this will be in week two after it's developed "true leaves".
Day Seven:
Noticed the leaves were a little pale, moved the light closer, from around 36 inches to probably around 24 inches. Need to check again tonight to actually measure when lights turn back on. Looking strong still, nice thick stem. Has had first set of True Leaves for a few days, now waiting for second set to show so I can start feeding. Tomorrow is 5 days since sprout, need to wait a few more days probably for nutes. Hopefully moving the light closer will help in chlorophyll uptake. Temp this afternoon (forgot to record this morning) was 76 degrees, humidity at 78%. Turned off humidifier for an hour and half. Will check on it again when I get home.
Day Nine:
Day 9 after planting, Day 6 of sprouting. She'll have her second set of "True Leaves" fully out in a few days. Started giving her very minimal nutrients. Temp is a nice 76.5 degrees. Humidity a little low at 68%, but that's an easy fix. I'm so excited to see how she continues to grow. Putting a stick on it tonight to help the stem.
Menicucci250 Day 12 of planting, Day 8 of sprouting:
Morning Temp was 75 degrees, humidity at 64%, not too shabby. She got top heavy entering into Week 2 so she's now on a popsicle stick for a while until her stem gets stronger. She's looking so green, got that second set of true leaves and growing a third now as well as her fingers. Watered her once since the last update 4 days ago and going to feed her again in a few days. Raised the light so that she can grow a little taller since she'll now be taking up a lot more chlorophyll in the coming days.
Day 14 after planting, Day 11 of sprouting:
Temps and humidity were great, still around 75 degrees and around 70% humidity. She's got her second node, and working on her third. Still the beginning of Week 2 after sprout, but giving her minimal nutrients with every other watering. Growing and looking different every single day now. They really do just burst out the gate with growth after their second set of leaves. I suspect by the time I'm home, she will have her third set. I also have been testing the PH of my water after adding nutrients as adding them affects the PH. I have my humidifier set at I think 60% RH which has been great so far. Nutrients used were with the recommended measurements, but only gave her half of the 1 gallon I made. Nutes were Bonnie from Cronk, and two Fox Farm: Grow Big and Big Bloom.
4 1/2 Weeks after planting, Almost 3 weeks since sprout:
Been a hot minute since I updated, but here we are. Topped her yesterday. Before that, she was wilting a bit, moved the light closer and topped her off. She perked right up after that and looks to be healing nicely. Will start LST in a few days. Will start nutes up again as well once we hit the three week mark on 4/12. I'm so excited to see this girl grow! Temp has been an even 74.5 ish around there, humidity kept around 70%. The set of leaves second from the top are almost as big has my hand. Will get a photo for refernce later.
Menicucci250 Was gone for a week in the Grand Canyon and she's still going strong thanks to my friend! Still got some scars in places but is mostly green. Looking much bushier and I believe will be in preflower by next week. Good temp at 70 degrees and still humidity at a steady 70%. Very exciting!
Menicucci250 Grown exponentially in the last few weeks, to the point I cut off about 10 leaves last night and another this evening. The smaller branches started to stretch, so I moved the light a few inches closer. Added Cal-Mag today at the 5 week mark. Started using a self-watering system right before we left for the Grand Canyon, which has been fantastic (about two weeks now). She's looking beautiful. Side Note: I'm not sure why it keeps saying I gave my plant 55ml of Big Bloom, but it was actually 14.78ml.
Menicucci250 Stopped LST last week. Started flower about a week ago and she's going so good! She smells AMAZING and is looking so pretty. Can't wait for a few more weeks when she's ready for harvest!
