Hello guys, the harvest happened 2 weeks ago. I already smoked a few small buds but giving a opinion about that right now would give a bad representation. Only thing I will say, it's a strong/good high! I got a enormous amount of seeds inside the buds. A few green but mostly nice looking seed with the brown/black tiger print. Guess I can go gorilla next year 😝. I have these seeds in my other plants to so the Duck®️ is not hermaphrodite but somebody growing a male plant outside. About the Auto Duck®️. Growing it was absolutely not difficult, I have grown a plant before and this year I grow 2 other strains next to the Duck®️. The Duck®️ didn't need much attention, sometimes a bit of water but nothing else. No fungus or any other problems. Only negative is the yield, the plant stayed pretty short and the yield was not a lot. That the plant stayed short was because of the bad weather and of course that would effect the yield. So I got precisely 16 grams of dried weed out of this harvest. Wanna read more about the taste and effect of the Duck®️? Read my message below!

About the buds! The buds are compact but fluffy also, considering I have a decent box full of weed ,on the scale the mass is not great. I have to admit that this is my biggest disappointment, because when you hold it in your hand it looks great but no density. But still I think that the buds are looking good, most of the tops are completely covering the stem, and the trichomes are looking good, there is a nice layer of crisp trichomes covering the whole buds. Feels high man! The high is good, it's a good and strong high that I really like. I honestly don''t like the weed so much from the coffeeshop, because they dried the weed wrong (to dry) and mostly a harsh taste when smoking. Also the high is inconstant narrowing the list of just a few weeds that are good/decent and I wanna spend my money on smoking it. With my outdoor growth I always get high, and the taste and smoking is smooth taking big hits/puffs without coughing (and no chemicals on my weed). The taste! Well, for now I would narrow the taste down to woody and earthy. But I have a vaporiser (herbalAire H3) and in my opinion that is the proper way of tasting weed, I haven''t tried that yet but I will update the page when I do. Update 13/12/2017 Today I tried the Duck with the HerbalAire H3, I know it's been a long time but I still hope you enjoy the read. The taste is good with the vaporizer, it's a earthy taste but delicate. You inhale and you get a bit of sweetness, but with the exhale you get the earth taste that dominates. But the earth is not heavy, it's smooth on the tong. But I have to tell you, I stashed it in a weck jar with some 62% Boveda bags inside so that would influences the taste (in a positive way :)). What I notice with this vape that is worth to mention, the smell is stronger then normal and it's really smells sweet but with a big tough of weed. I actually like the smell. The high with the vaporizer is good. I didn't smoke for three days and I hit it now with 174 celcius and is a good strong high in my head. But I'm still focused and clear in my mind Resume Well people, I hope you enjoyed my growing diary and my story''s. Giving you a bit of guide and indication to grow your own strain or choose this strain. After this growth I consider the Auto Duck®️ as a good side growth that is easy to grow and don''t need much attention. With discretion as his main advertising it does it job proper.

Coming to the end of my grow of this strain done very well outdoor in northern uk not grown huge but amazing structure with next to nothing for aroma but after a touch fingers smell lush ✌️ had plenty of family members in my garden and nobody has suspected a thing 😁

Hi, cool journal! Did you ever try using two layers of different soil before? I am thinking about doing it myself, but still not sure. So I'll watch for your progress first :) Good luck with the grow!

@John_1984, no not like this. But for the plant to handle the soil correctly also depends on the strain. I have two other plants growing and they went straight in the Canna soil, one plant handled it perfectly with a bit of stress and burns as a youngling but growing strong and fast after that and getting 11 fingers out the leafs! The other one is growing good but had burn-signs on the leafs for weeks, I think it took around 2 months for it to completely disappear. At the end it also started growing 11 fingers on the leafs but it took a while longer. If this goes good I maybe change the ratio of the soil next year. But this would also depend which strain I use.

I've been following your diarie from some weeks, i have an Auto Duck growing indoor (my very first plant) and it's only 28cm tall at week 12 (or at least it looks like yours at week 12, real week is 15). I'm worried about the yield since mine is much much smaller. Anyways congratz on your grow :)

well done, considering the lack of sun since August began :-) I'm glad it withstood the summer and produced buds. Enjoy
