YezHazeEz To break the outer shells of the seeds, I put them in a box and shook them for 3-5 seconds. Then, I put it between napkins soaked in hydrogen peroxide and kept it in a warm and dark place for 48 hours (26 degrees). They grew 2-3 cm of roots, so I put them in a pot. Since I didn't have enough soil, I had to germinate 3 pieces in a paper cup :) I didn't want to do a transplant, but I had to.

YezHazeEz The time for lst training is approaching. Maybe I can bend the middle ones into a circular shape. Since I planted the others on the edges of the pots, I can tilt them in opposite directions. Some leaves look like indica leaves. I think indica may have won in hybrid genes...

YezHazeEz I realized that the plant, which I thought was developing slowly, was actually breaking its branch due to harsh training. Since she wasn't making any progress, I took her out of the tent. Apart from this, there is a nutrient lockout as in the first grow. I will try to fix the situation with empty watering.

YezHazeEz The growth continues, and I continue to train with low stress training. We said goodbye to the Apple Strudel flower. In one of the Strawberry Gorilla genetics, a branch was broken due to training, but it overcame this stress and its development continues. I am planning defoliation next week.

YezHazeEz After 2 empty waterings with Calmag addition, the plants dropped to the ppm level I wanted. Next week, before switching to bloom fertilizers, I will clean the soil with another empty irrigation. At the end of the 35th day, Gorilla Cookies is the best developing flower so far. Does anyone have any suggestions before transitioning to flowering?

@oldskoolkool, Nobody said they all do. Can you see how your poor memory fills in the vast gaps left by your understanding of the world, constantly leaving you as the bagholder moron? You don't understand anything about cultivation or this industry. A 56 day photoperiod, regardless of genotype, is worth researching. Past that, the dry sift rate alone was more than an absolute slam dunk of a commercial keeper cut...despite the photoperiod. What makes you happy in life? It clearly isn't derived from understanding the world around you, being able to communicate with others, being humble, or admitting when you are wrong...as we can all see, immortalized forever on the internet. Feel free to reach out for any more grow guidance bub. 😘😘

Put those autos down,ha.They have their place but 9 times out of 10 you're best off with photperiod when growing indoors. They're much stronger, less sensitive and you control when they flower so if you have an issue in wk5 then you veg it for another week or two to clear the issue up before flower it.You can grow it as big or small as you like. Its hard to say exactly what the issue is.They say to never give coco plain water. All the root boosters Iv used and seen arent to be used during flowering.Id stop the super vit which will make no difference whatsoever.Id stop the honey crome as it will only ber sugar to feed the microbes. They're fine without it and man made salt based mineral food is taken up by the plant directly unlike organic food that the microbes convert to make them plant available.I guess you've checked the leaf chart.I always associate distinct yellow edges with potassium which would certainly go with the 3rd week of flowering which is when the plants use more p and k..I would of said lack of but isnt the king kola a pk booster?Iv just checked and godess and kola both have K in them adding uo to 7% which is certainly on the mild side but it should be ok for cannabis plants. Most pk boosters are 13/14 or 18/19 and some go as high as 50/40 but thats way too much..I just noticed power buds which you need to stop.It will be the same as emeradle godess. You have the base nutrition grow/bloom then you have boosters which is extra nutrition like cal and mag,and p and k then you have stimulants like super vit, honey chrome, power buds then you have stimulants like emeralde godees which has stimulants and nutirtion in it.Not the best explanation,I'm stoned,ha.You've got good nutriton but the leaves are showing lack of poatassium so I think you may be locking it out with too much of something. You'll have 3 lots of seaweed/kelp in there. Its in all root and veg boosters and some flower boosters like cannas boost and your emeralde harvest so it could well cause an issue having it in 3 things.I'd take it back to the A and B bloom, guano extract which will also feed the microbes and give you extra phosphorus. It also improves on smell and taste.Emeralde godess and king kola and stop the rest.Stop surper vit, root wiz, honey C,P Buds. They may not be causing this issue but they wont be doing the plant any good.Theres certainly something to be said for the KISS aproach.Keep It Simple Stupid.Iv gone organic in the last few years as it improves the quality.Iv grown side by side with manmade mineral nutriants during this time and learnt more.Cannas bio soil is amazing. The plants are so much happier than the coco ones next to them.It has 30% coco in it and after Iv added some clay balls it has planty of air in it which is often the downfall of soil.I do recommned oraganic with soil.I'd double check every bit of info you're given on here, mine included.I wouldnt go telling anyone to do something uless I was 100% certain. Iv been at it longer than most and do know what I'm talking about which cant be said for the majority of people answering questions on here.If you need me to clear any of that up yopu're welcome to ask.

@oldskoolkool, Those are the words you keep saying, with jack squat to back any of it up buddy. You keep saying all this about your vast fields of crop and quality and decades of blah blah. I don't see anything on your profile, and frankly, not a damn word out of your mouth supports anything about the fake persona you are roleplaying as online... Your memory is garbage, clearly. Your mindset is trash, as demonstrated. Who advises someone to give themselves cancer, then gets made when they get educated on science? Grrrr oldskoolkool is mad at science, everyone take note... Good lord, man, you'd think science was your ex wife.......... Like all your word soups, you leave so much to be desired on explanation. Sure, things are slightly different in the EU. There isn't a single compound used in the US I cannot get into my EU grows within a regulatory framework, try learning new stuff and you might understand that. Why do you think ferments are hot... Like seriously - is anything you say worth a piss in the wind? "HID lamps are better for veg" sure, if you have a veg only HID lamp.....which would leave you nothing for flower or another bulb being required. Every single statement you make is complete and utter garbage without a half-dozen clarifying statements, which is colloquially known as being a dunce. Words should be used to communicate ideas and expound on understanding, you use your words to make grunts about your feelings. I hope that part of your personality changes, I can recommend some better meds if it helps ya bruv

@ATLien415, You're just pulling things out of your arse mate.Do you even know the meaning of the word context? What on earth makes you think Im anti science? For the most part science cant be beaten and Iv never said anything that would suggest otherwise, unless you have demntia that is.I'm clearly more up to date on the scientific findings than yourself regarding spectrum. My short term memory is for shit but I remember seeing the findings about far red and uv several years ago,and Iv read more this year that says the same, and yes Iv had far red and uv lights for several years. The first one data on uv/far red, think it was the 80s said the same but its widely misinterpreted. You even cite intense farming as good practise which proves how little you know. Farmers dont care about the quality of their products its all about yield and fuck the soil and peoples health. The US uses so many products that are bannaed in the EU but you cite them as best practise. You go on and try to lecture me about plant morphology, haha. You've done what I told you not to do.You've taken my poor spelling and limited vocabulary as a sign of me being stupid, more evidence of your stupidity.I think I learnt about plant morphology 30yrs ago.I got on a plane and traveled to another country on a quest for knowledge over 30yrs ago and came home with a copy of what is refered to as "the bible"and Iv been doing this all that time illegally.Iv had grows 80 plants strong that would have seen me go to prison for number of years so don't think I'm your typical grower.I live in the UK.I never met another grower until I traveled to another country.I was alone for 15yrs with no help so beleive me when I say I had to do it all myself. You say led,s are better than HID lamps but it isnt that simple. Not all led,s are the same so hid lamps are better than some led,s and led,s are full spectrum so a lot of them are better for flowering but HID lamps are better than most led,s for veg.You would know this if you took any notice of plant morphology. The majority of led,s have too much red in them for veg.Inhave 1 out of several high end lights that has a veg/flower switch. You need to stop making shit up fella, take your head out of your arse and grow up.Get a life and stop spending hours trying to pull my comments apart as you're clearly failing. If Iv made a mistake I have no issue admiting it unlike yourself.Im a human being,I make mistakes,my ego can take it.I try and tell everyone, dont take my word for it,tripple check my info.

@ATLien415, You're like a bad smell following me around onto every comment I make trying to pull them apart and making yourself look a fool. You go on about how many words Iv used when you make long winded comments longer than mine all the time. What are you on about,I'm making an amazing soil food web and throwing synthetics in?What is that a reference to?

Just noticed your far red strips. They're only to be used for a short period at the end of each day.New reserch has come out which shows it does nothing.I was checking as I was planning on buying uv and red strips but I'm not anymore.I suspect all reserch but if they've got it wrong then it wont be that wrong. If do anything it will be minor.

@ATLien415, Please point out my "historically anti science" views.Evidently you have an issue understanding me.I talk facts not fiction like yourself, talk about delusional. You clearly arent as well informend as you think you are.I use my common sense.Scientific findings are notorious for being flawed so you have to look at the details.Whos doing the science and what they're trying to find.WhatWhat are you on about with some I suspect from growing outdoors decades ago?Talk about pulling things out of your arse. You've got one hell of an imagination.I told you I started growing hydroponically in the early 90s and you go on about me growing outside decades ago.I'd do some science on your thought process if I were you.Where do you get this shit from?Maybe you should start witing science fiction novels.I'll say it again, don't mistake my poor education, bad spelling, grammer and bad vocabulary for being stupid.I left school at the age of 13.Whats your excuse?

@ATLien415Prsuming again.I know what blue and red lights to in terms of [plant morphology.I have apicture with a blue metal halide up with my led,s with the description blue metal to stop strecthing.Did I read some reserch? You're claiming Im anti science. The the first reserch that everyone quaotes, the one from the 80s is a case of misinterpretation. It showed there was no increase.I havent read it myself but its mentioned it in the latest paper.Stop being a dick and I may look for it.I'm wasting enough time as it is.
ATLien415
ATLien415commented8d ago
@oldskoolkool, Just wanted to continue our discussions because again you opine on lighting on the site but have historically been anti-intellectual/anti-science. Please reference the "New reserch has come out which shows it does nothing." Red wavelength photons have their place in grow rooms, as illustrated by the red diodes on every horticultural LED fixture. Depending on the exact wavelength and intensity, red photons can be used to control morphological behavior (stretching, internodal spacing, and so on). Otherwise, the natural decrease in white light during sunset and the angles which photons must travel through the atmosphere together act to result in an increase, relatively speaking, in red photons. This is a biological marker/impetus for flowering in outdoor or naturalized cannabis, by the exact mechanism of the phytochrome cycle. If you "suspect" something based on your experience a few decades ago growing outdoors, then we can do science ourselves and test your hypothesis. Science is as accessible as you want it to be.
