420_Scene It’s Day 10 of veg stage and I’ve had some yellowing on a set of under leaves so I plucked em out to help utilize their energy up top. I’ve been watering 1/3 Powerade bottle per plant just because I transplanted them not too long ago and I don’t wanna hit em with too much water as they’re building their root system and they’ve been getting it once every 2-3 days and I’ll add 1/3 teaspoon of Fish Shit and they seem to be diggin it. When I transplanted, below is what they got mixed with: Wiggly Worm EWC: 16-17% mixed into soil DTE Bat Guano: 2 TSP per gallon of soil DTE Crab Meal: 2 TBSP per gallon of soil DTE: Fish Bone Meal: 2 TBSP per gallon of soil DTE Langbeinite: 1 TBSP per gallon of soil So if anyone is thinking of running Down To Earth amendments, this is gonna be the ratio of their products to create the super soil mix. And to get the 16-17% worm casting ratio, for every 5 cups of soil, use 1 cup of worm castings. That will come out to be 16.66%, give or take.

420_Scene Day 24 of veg and it's gonna be time to mainline, most likely tomorrow morning and this about the size I like my plants to be, maybe a little smaller even when I set up for the mainline, so pretty much I top it, keep the two leaves and of course the new nodes coming through and strip the rest of the plant which I'll show in the next grow update. I've been giving 1 TSP of Fish Shit by Fish Head Farms and once every three weeks, give them Recharge by Real Growers WITH Fish Shit, plants really love it. I did transplant with my Down to Earth super soil recipe which I'll have right down below. Wiggly Worm EWC: 15-16% mixed into soil DTE Bat Guano: 2 TSP per gallon of soil DTE Crab Meal: 2 TBSP per gallon of soil DTE: Fish Bone Meal: 2 TBSP per gallon of soil DTE Langbeinite: 1 TBSP per gallon of soil Temps have been in the upper 70's and humidity has been in the upper 60's and low 70's, plants love it but as the weeks go by, I'll be dropping the humidity to 55% to 65% and temps in the mid 70's. Not much of a drop in VPD, just a little as they transition to mid and late veg.

420_Scene It’s Day 34 of veg and temps have gotten a little warmer, climbing into the 80s, so I’m gonna be installing an AC unit in a couple of days just so they don’t get heat stress and the one plant on the back right is getting some magnesium deficiency, which is weird because I hit them with recharge two weeks ago, which has molasses and molasses is an excellent source of magnesium so I will give them 1 tablespoon per gallon of water of organic black strap molasses by Plantation, always been my go-to. Humidity has been about 65% on average, give or take. These plants seem to have responded very well to the Down To Earth amendments and it’s gonna be time to top dress in a few weeks. I’m also gonna start implementing silica in about a week or two, but I want there to be more of a bushy structure which will be happening within the next week. It seems like when you mainline, growth is a lot slower but once you get everything set up as far as your Initial mainline, cut, your growth is gonna start kicking into overdrive so it’s worth it in the end. Lets come back next week and see how much they bush out.

420_Scene Day 40 of veg and temps have been in the mid to upper 70’s, humidity fluctuating between 45% and 60%. During the day hours, humidity is closer to 45% to 50% and lights out, it’s closer to 60% which makes sense because your lights give off a dry heat, so your humidifier is always in a constant battle to maintain your desire humidity. I topdressed a few days ago with 1 TBSP per gallon of water if fish bone meal and crab meal and 1 TSP per gallon of soil ratio of bat guano and langbeinite and 1/4 cup of worm castings every two weeks. I’m also gonna be topping within the next few days. Probably doing a total of 3 or 4 tops and then I’m gonna let ‘em grow taller, pretty much what we did in the Cheddar Cheeze and blueberry runs. We haven’t really been doing too much extra, just top dress once a month and give them some microbial stuff like fish shit and recharge. I give Recharge once every three weeks so my plants can keep maintaining their mag levels from the molasses.

420_Scene Day 52 of veg and I know it’s been a few weeks but I’ve been maintaining the growth and getting rid of leaves as I’ve been going along which is why it seems like I have wide plants but not very leafy, this will work to our advantage later when we kick em into flowering. I’m gonna top them one more time before I flip and I still have some room to work with but I’m gonna be easing up on stretching em wide and I’m gonna let em stretch upward when the final stretch does happen so that way we can have not only big heads but super nice stalks going down the branches. I also started using silica, a little later than I would’ve liked but I’ve been giving my plants Bulletproof Si by Cutting Edge Solutions at the rate of .40 teaspoon per gallon of water ratio, so just a smidge under 1/2 teaspoon and I’m gonna be alternating between fish shit and silica every other watering with a Recharge and fish shit watering every three weeks as long as it lands on a fish shit watering just to maintain the mag levels at all times and that’s also my regiment during flower. I’m gonna wait maybe an extra week or two before flipping into flower, and then it’s gonna be time to start a new run so I can get the perpetual runs going again.

420_Scene It’s Day 60 of veg and it’s gonna be time to flip. I still have a little bit of room for the final stretch and it’s also gonna be time to top dress in 5 days so I’m thinking of keeping them in veg for 3 more days, give em 2 days for the induction process, and then top dress again. The next watering after the top dress is gonna be with some Recharge and Fish Shit, it’s time to use it again, it’s been three weeks. Somehow I had the VPD set for 1.20 and made it jump to 1.45 at one point so I fixed it and set it for 1.0 and that bumped up the humidity and the plants seem much happier. The VPD’s been around 1.10 average. So temps have been in the mid 70’s and humidity around 60% to 65%.

420_Scene Day 1 of flower and I’ve set the VPD on my AC Infinity humidifier between 0.90 and 1.10 during veg and now I have it set for a solid 1.20 so pretty much what that comes to is, I’ve been keeping my temperature around 74° and the humidity has been at 60% solid so I plan on keeping it at that level throughout flowering. When the lights are off, the VPD is pretty low at 0.65 which is not really recommended by a lot of people, but because we had less than stellar humidity level levels, I’m perfectly fine with it and we have really good airflow on top of it so it’ll be perfectly fine. We had a little bit of mag deficiency in the beginning, probably because the leaves started showing signs before I had a chance to give them some blackstrap molasses so I’ve been keeping up with that giving them recharge which has blackstrap molasses and kelp in there once every three weeks at the rate of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water ratio. They’re all looking really healthy and by the time the final stretch happens, the entire tent should be all filled up. I also wanna add that I tie down the two black cherry bliss in the back last night so they should look bigger within the next few days. Let’s see how they’re looking in a week or so. Also, the DTE ratios on this page are for the monthly top dress. The ones with 3 TSP is really 1 TBSP per gallon of soil as a TOPDRESS such as crab meal and fish bone meal, just so there's no confusion.
