According to the manufacturer (rooties dot eu, formerly Chiliwelten, formerly Chillwelten), these are the first completely double-layered fabric pots on the market. This is supposed to help the pots not dry out so quickly in the summer. I'm also using the Smart Start Plugs from Zamnesia for the first time. I'm really curious to see how the seeds develop in them. Until my last grow, I had been using my own soil mix. It seems there were too many aggressive soil dwellers in it, which cost me some seeds. Now I'm using BioBizz All-Mix because my last grow developed very nicely in it. Day 10: The Green Gelato Auto from Royal Queen Seeds is really taking off; it's already almost twice as big as the others, even though it has been hilled up as well. Day 13: Watering is quite a change. The soil on the outer edges always looks dry, and it probably is. I spread 0.6 liters of nutrients over the entire surface. Day 16: All the plants in the apartment have received SF nematodes against fungus gnats. Additionally, the cannabis plants have gotten hoverfly larvae against thrips and aphid species. Day 17: Fruit day during harvest time, good for helping the Green Gelato develop some more roots. By piling up with soil, the stem can form additional roots a few centimeters further down. Seeing this makes me happy that I switched to the fabric pots. Day 24: Due to its compact growth, it's not so easy to apply LST. The stem is very strong, but the branches are still small. That's why only the main stem has been bent. And it received half a liter of nutrients. Day 25: Removed three leaves. Check back in again ✋😎

Day 30: The branches of the Green Gelato Auto aren't at the same height, but they're reaching nicely for the light. Day 34: 10 cm in 6 days, not bad. There were probably too many aggressive soil dwellers in it, which cost me some seeds. Now I'm using BioBizz All-Mix because my last grow developed really nicely in it. Day 42: The Green Gelato Automatic from Royal Queen Seeds is growing 1 cm every day. Only the main stem has been bent; the branches are nicely reaching upwards, no need to tie them down. Some tips are shaded by leaves, and they'll be removed tonight. Watering the fabric pots is super easy; the water flows right through the fabric lids without any backup. I water half a liter of nutrients every other day in quarter portions. First, I spread ~100mL on the surface and wait until everything is nicely absorbed, then I water again in small portions, waiting until everything is soaked up. Check back in! ✋😎
