BrediniGreeny 4/7/25 Week started very good😍🍀💪 4/11/25 Today gave them a little drink with trace amounts of Bio Grow; Bio Heaven; Activera; Algamic; CalMag; Root Juice. They are lookig very good, better then my cannabis ladies looked at the beginning.😁 Grow babiesssss, i want tomatoes 😍🍅🍅

BrediniGreeny 4/10/25 Starting a new week. All looks good except some of them are showing signs of not enough nutrients.🙂 Today, because i saw the things mentioned above, did a transplant in bigger pots. BioBizz Light Mix soil with a little bit of Worm Hummus. Also they received 1 l of water for all 6 plants with: BioGrow 4 ml Bio Heaven 4 ml Algamic 5 ml Activera 4 ml RootJuice 5 ml CalMag 1,5 ml Grow me some beautiful tomatoes babieess💚😍🍅🍅🤤 4/15/25 They also got sprayed with a little Neem Oil because they are still in the grow tent with the ladies🙂. After 8h they look good, no burns or such. Gotta feed them also next watering. 😁 They also got fancy butterfly yellow sticky traps 😂😂 Increased the light intensity a bit PAR around 320. 4/16/25 All 6 tomatoes doing very good. Today they got all of them 1,5 l water with: RootJuice 3 ml Activera 4 ml Algamic 4 ml CalMag 0,5 ml Grow babieess😍🍅😍🍅

BrediniGreeny 4/18/25 They started a new week now so to say🙂. They are all looking wonderful, between 11 and 12 cm tall. 😍🍅🍅💚 Grow babbbbiieess😍🍅💚 4/21/25 So I transplanted them today in a soil mix with 70% tomatoes soil (store bought) and 30% old soil with perlite. Also on top of the soil i put some volcanic stone. They got their spot on the balcony now and my "little balcony garden" concept is starting to take shape. Almost done but all the plants must now just grow😊🌱💚 They got watered with plain water PHed down to about PH 6.🍅🍅❤️💚🌱 4/23/25 They are all super happy and bathing in the sun. They look strong, lush and growing. My balcony garden concept is coming slowly true. 😁😍 Grow babieees growwwwwww💚🍅😍😍

BrediniGreeny 4/25/25 Started a new week and looking wonderful. Almost used to their new home. 4/26/25 Today I saw they actually grew a little since i brought them outside. 😊 They range between 19 cm and 25 cm. They got some water today. 10l water with : Activera 25 ml ; BioHeaven 20 ml ; Algamic 20ml ; CalMag 10 ml. Going in PH 6,1 ppm 245 temp 26 C. Come on babies grow some tomatoes 😍😍😂😂 4/28/25 They are growing lush and vibrant💚🍀 4/29/25 Growing very good 😍 the tallest is 30 cm and the smallest 22 cm. 5/1/25 Today I toped them because they are all good established in their new home and growing beautifully. Found some little flowers starting to form on 2 of them but toped them anyway😂😁 Now grow babies and make me some tomatoes😍🍅😍🍅😍💚🍀

The stem is thickening up after toping and already started to work on some side branches from the nodes on the main stem. 😊💚🌱 Thry also get the runoff water from the cannabis ladies in addition to what nutrients are in the tomatoe soil i bought.😊 Grow babieeess😍😍🍅💚

BrediniGreeny 5/16/25 Starting a new week and growing good. I don't know what kind of tomatoes they are and already toped them because i can't grow big tall tomatoe plants on my balcony😂 I think they waren't the bushy variety and am now interested to see how it will end up. Will i eat tomatoes this year from my balcony or will i have just some green plants that make a little shade in the summer and die when winter comes? Hmmmm 😂😂 we will see. Watering them when the top 5 cm of soil feels dry. Just water PHed at about 6,5. They also receive the runoff from my cannabis ladies but not too often because they also have nutrients in the soil😊. Today in the evening will spray some Neem Oil or something else i have also organic because little catterpillers started appering on them. Last year also had the catterpillars 🙂

BrediniGreeny 5/23/25 From now on, I’ll be writing my entries with the help of ChatGPT—it just goes faster this way. I still have my old-school pen and paper journal, with years of notes, but it doesn’t make sense to double up anymore. So, I’ll dictate my updates, and ChatGPT will help me put them into words. Today marks the start of a new week for the tomatoes, and they’re looking good. I’m really glad I decided to top them. They turned out to be one of those big, tall varieties—something I didn’t expect since they came from a mix of random seeds I sprouted. I had no idea what variety they were at first. Topping them was definitely the right move. It stunned their growth a bit, since they lost their main stems, but they responded well by pushing out side branches. I went ahead and lollipopped them—removed the lower branches and cleaned up any side shoots. I left just three side shoots near the top of each plant. The uppermost side shoot is now acting as the new main stem, which is great. Growth is steady, and they’re also benefiting from the runoff water from my cannabis ladies. I did notice a few caterpillars again, just like last year. I sprayed them today with a neem oil and water mix. I’ll keep an eye on them over the next few days to see if that handles the problem. If not, I’ve still got some of that organic mix I used last year that worked really well. I’ll apply that in three or four days if needed. No real issues for now. Stay tuned.😊

BrediniGreeny 6/6/25 Today marks the beginning of a new week in the garden. 😍 The plants are continuing to grow well, and I noticed that they’ve started flowering—an exciting sign of progress. However, I also saw that some caterpillars have returned and created small holes in the leaves. 6/8/25 I sprayed them with my organic pesticide to help keep pests at bay. I tied down the side branches to encourage more harmonious growth and to prevent them from hanging loosely. For nutrients, I added a bit of the bio-organic fertilizer shown in my photos. In addition to that, I mixed 15 ml of Bio-Bloom and 15 ml of Cal-Mag into 10 liters of water, and each plant received a portion from that mixture. That’s all for today—feeling good about the progress so far!😍💪

BrediniGreeny 6/13/25 New week😍💚 6/19/25 End of the week for the balcony tomatoes hotties😅💚❤️ This has been a fantastic week for the tomato plants! They’re now in full bloom and looking incredibly strong and healthy. 😍 I cut the smaller flowers and let just 3 - 4 flowers per cluster. This should help with better fruits😊 It really feels like they’ve hit their stride💪—no signs of caterpillars anymore, which is a huge relief😌. I’ve been watering them consistently, both with the regular waterings and the runoff water from the cannabis ladies, and it seems to be working perfectly. To wrap up the week, I’m planning to give the whole balcony garden a garlic water treatment. I crushed a good amount of garlic and let it sit in water for around 5 to 7 hours—I'll spray it in the evening. This isn’t for the tomatoes (which are pest-free for now), but more for the salad greens, basil, and a few others that are showing signs of plant lice (aphids, I think they're called). Hoping the garlic spray will help clear them out without bothering the rest of the plants. Here’s to another strong week ahead!😍😍💪

BrediniGreeny 6/20/25 💚💚The tomatoes are starting a new week full of life. 💚💚 They’re thriving—really thriving—and flowering like crazy. This morning, the very first tomatoes showed their faces😍, like they were saying, “Hi, I’m here!😊” It’s all looking so wonderful.😍 The rest of the balcony garden is doing great too—everything looks happy and healthy. So stay tuned… because we officially have tomatoes!🌿🍅

BrediniGreeny 6/27/25💚💚💚 Today marks the start of a new week for the tomatoes, and I'm happy to say the cucumbers are doing very well😂. The tomatoes, on the other hand, have taken a bit of a beating from the intense sun and heat. One day it hit 33°C, and the next, it soared to 35–36°C— just brutal. I’ve been doing my best to water them properly, but with work and life, and heatwaves like this, it’s not always easy. I can’t express how much I’m trying, but sometimes the plants just take damage no matter what. This afternoon, I plan to give them a good feed, I’m going in with calcium, potassium, some magnesium, a bit of nitrogen, and a mix of micronutrients. I’ll see what they seem to need once I’m out there. I’ll come back with an update in the evening.

BrediniGreeny 7/11/25 New week for the balcony garden.🤩💚 A lot is happening, some plants are doing wonderful some are doing good and some just hanging in there but yeah😅 that's a lil' garden on the balcony for you😅😅💚 The cucumbers are just soooo juicy and sweet🤤🤤 Sure can't wait for the tomatoes💚🤤🍅 Grow babies💚💚💚 7/15/25 The balcony garden is alive and thriving — chaotic, wild, and beautiful in its own way 🌞🍅🥒. Today was watering day: I mixed up 18 liters of juice with the good stuff — BioGrow, BioBloom, BioHeaven, ActiVera, Aldamil, and a little extra mystery magic I can't quite remember 😅. pH landed at 6.18, PPM 1330, and everyone got their fair share — the tomatoes, cucumbers, and mangold all soaked it up like summer rain 💧🌱. The cucumbers are looking perky and proud 🥒, and the tomatoes are still going strong — at least the main crew. But the two tomatoes I planted off to the side, not on the railing, they’ve gone rogue. No more standing tall — they’re horizontal now. Gravity won that battle 😂🍅. Still, they're blooming and fruiting like champs, even without much sun transport. Just doing their tomato thing, lying down on the job. Tomatoes in general need a lot of attention this time of year. It’s summer, they’re thirsty, and they make sure I know it. I water them every 12 to 14 hours because otherwise, they just dry out too fast under the heat ☀️💧. And I don’t always feed them either — a lot of the time, it’s just plain water. They don’t complain, they just keep growing. Respect. Storms passed through recently and knocked a few branches around, especially the tomatoes. Not tragic, but enough to make you talk to your plants a little longer the next day. And the caterpillars — yeah, they had a snack on my poor kohlrabi 🐛. A few bites here and there, but nothing that can't bounce back. Some plants I planted earlier just didn’t vibe, you know? So I’m letting them do their thing — grow if they want, chill if they don’t. The whole balcony's got a bit of a "grow-your-own-adventure" energy going right now, and honestly, I kinda love it. Thanks for stopping by the balcony jungle. BrediniGreeny 7/18/25 New week😍💪 7/22/25 I can’t keep up with watering my balcony garden… but I try, I try, I try, I try.😥 The tomatoes 🍅 took a bit of a hit — they’re asking for water every 12 to 14 hours now. One of them’s already looking limp and sad, kind of bleh. I really need to water it today, in just a couple of hours. The cucumbers 🥒 are doing incredibly well — they’ve shot up like 20 times higher. I don’t even have any more support for them, which is a bit of a problem… but they just keep going. They're gifting me with the juiciest, crunchiest cucumbers. I’m genuinely grateful for them. The mangold is almost ready to harvest — not all at once, but one by one, slowly. It's nearly there. Oregano 🌿 is also doing great — in fact, it’s starting to outpace the thyme. The thyme is fine, but oregano is just thriving right now. The basil 🌱 is doing beautifully too. The purple basil 💜🌿 I still have out there is also holding strong — bold, fragrant, and just looking great on the balcony. What can I say? I’m really pleased. It’s my little, little green paradise.
