Photo contest Dutch Passion & Super Sativa Seed Club Strain B
greenthumb42 First of all, big thanks to Dutch Passion, Super Sativa Seed Club, and of course Johnny for letting me take part in the competition!
I germinated the 5 seeds in Plagron Seeding and Cutting Soil – it worked perfectly, 5 out of 5 germinated. One of the plants needed a little emergency surgery because it couldn’t shed part of its seed shell on its own. Another one stretched quite a bit – not sure why, since the light should have been sufficient, but for now I’ve given it a little support stick until the seedlings are ready to be moved into larger pots. 😊

greenthumb42 This week I transplanted the plants into small 1-liter air-pots, and they're developing really well. One of them is a bit behind in terms of leaf growth, but in terms of size, they're all about the same now — though that's also because I planted the slightly bigger ones a bit deeper. 😇
greenthumb42 Hi everyone,
the small ones are developing really well and look very healthy. I'm very happy with the Air-Pots — the air root pruning is definitely working great. I'll be transplanting the plants into larger pots next week, and then they’ll probably be heading into flowering soon, since time for the contest is really running short.
greenthumb42 Hi everyone,
I transplanted the girls today and now it's off to flowering — even if it's a bit earlier than I'd prefer, but time is running. The new pots are 12.5L Air-Pots, and I have to say I'm really happy with the root development. I couldn’t see any root circling at all. I hope things keep going this well — this strain is really fun to grow. 😍
greenthumb42 Hi everyone, the plants are growing really well despite the very short veg phase. Especially #5 is absolutely crazy — after just one week of 12/12, it's already in full bloom, while the others are in pre-flower or, in the case of #4, haven't shown sex yet. #5 is now 40 cm tall, and the other four are around 30 cm. I can already say that #5 is taking the "Fast Version" very seriously. 💪😂😊
greenthumb42 Hi everyone, the girls are now all in full bloom and #5 is still in first place when it comes to size and flowers. She's already 60 cm tall and is producing flowers really eagerly, almost unbelievably so for just two weeks after switching to 12/12. Over the course of next week, I’ll defoliate the plants a bit and start adding some PK 13/14 to the nutrients. I hope the girls keep performing this amazingly. 🙏😊
Hi greenthumb42, what a great start, the plants look amazing , really healthy and good grow strength, love it! Impressive for an indica dominant fast version. Curious to see how that tall one will turn out. Enjoy!
@SSSC_John, Hi Johnny, thank you. #5 is really crazy, even though all the plants are now in bloom, she just looks like she's already two weeks ahead. 😅
