Veg Tent 2'x3'
450W Vispaspectra (Veg mode 150W)
--------------------------------
1 Day to germinate the seeds on day 2 they were out of the ground absolutely remarkable. What I usually do is let them soak in Vitathrive/water mix from Green planet then in a moist paper towel until I see about 1/2 inch of root. They are currently in the Veg tent.
Week 2 completed. I started week 1 from seed so there is very little growth yet. Moved them closer to the lights and this week I’ll be introducing some nutrients at around 200ppms to see how they react.
Update - After testing the city’s water I noticed the ppms in the water was much higher than previously tested. It tested at 270ppm therefore I said what the hell and lets try 500 then so I can introduce sufficient nutrients of my choice. Worst case scenario I will dilute the next feed to 300-400ppms if I notice tip burns next week.
Day 14 transplanted to 7 gallon fabric pots.
500ppms at week 2 was a little too much. Solution was diluted for second feed and is now at 450. The first leaves were affected but bothing on new growth. Will maintain this level for another week and see how they do. Id expect next week for them to really get a boost ad they get ready for pre-flower and have 2 weeks before they move to the flower tent.

***Beginning Week 4***
They were slightly affected by the 550ppms they received in week 2 with slight tip burn on lower and older leaves. New growth is fine. I’m seriously considering an RO system as my city water tested at 300ppms therefore its very hard to introduce nutrients at first and maintain low dosages. Ill upload more pics tonight they are currently receiving LST.
***End Week Update***
Transferred to the flowering tent under the HLG288 V2. Started LST day 34.
Cheers.
End of Week 5. They are being LST and being prepped for flowering. I expected them to be stretching slightly but I can see them getting ready for that now so by the end of this week they should have grown considerably in size. Humidity and temps are on point. I've added a room heater as the outside temperature have dipped in the - again this week. I'll add more pics as the week progresses.
Well first off, I unintentionally topped Z1 at week 6. So if you ever wondered what it would do we’ll soon find out. She had plenty of branches underneath so light penetration is no longer an issue lol.
This will be the last LST I will be doing on the plants. Next week I imagine she will stretch and start showing more pistils. Its for this reason I marked week 5 as Veg as nothing was showing.
Any comments or suggestions are always welcomed
Added liquid weight this week and will now be adding Massive nutrients. They started stretching this week and I’ve now lowered the QB to 16” from the top of the canopy.
They were introduced to Massive formulation this week. 1 week behind the regular feed schedule I follow for autos but I felt this was the best time as the ppm were higher than I anticipated. I will see how they react to the 800ppm received and if I see no nutrient burns on the tip I will test at 900-1000ppm
The bud structure on the zkittlez are as described by Fast budz, large and, they are no where close to be done fattening as most colas are full of white pistils. Been feeding every 3-4 days 4 to 5L. It's a waiting game at this point. The temperature are on point although I'd prefer lower humidity, all and all I couldn't be happier.
Gave the girls their last feed. I ran out of Massive but figured at this point it was going to do very little as these buds are looking mature and ready for flush. Next run I will be trying Gaia Green Organic dry amendments anyways. Two flushes of water PH at 6 and chop chop 😀. They smell amazing more on that at Harvest Report.
Thanks to all who followed along and dropped a comment.
Usually I post end week but considering I was able to get them outside with preferred lighting for taking pictures I’ve decided to upload now along with the animal pic for the contest.
Z2 was chopped at day 90
Z1 was chopped at day 95
Harvested Z1 (Zkittlez 1) at 95 days and Z2 (Zkittlez 2) at 90 days, At week 11 the trichomes were 90% milky with 50% orange pistils. They both received a minimum 2 full water flush, what I mean by that is a good 20% runoff to get all that built up out of the fabric pots.
Note to self. 7 Gallon pots were unnecessary for these autos, 5 Gallons would be more than sufficient possibly even 3 Gallon.
I believed the yield would be more considering how dense these buds are. I had forgotten Z2 had been massacred throughout this grow, unintentional topping as she was starting to flower and the carbon filter which fell on the plant damaging the top bud and other smaller bud sites. Taking these into consideration and after weighing Z1 I am very impressed by Fastbudz genetics especially under 13 weeks! I added a video of Z1 & Z2 dry weight to show transparency of my end results for this grow. I think better internodal spacing could allow for better bud development hence a better yield. Overall extremely pleased.
Z1 = 97gr
Z2= 61gr
Density of Buds: 10/10
Resin: 9/10
Smell: 10/10
Dry Time and Cure for Smoke Report: 6 days (are now placed in Masson jars open lid for the next 2 days then 30 min x2/day) at Relative Humidity 60% // Temp: 72° F
Smoke Report : High THC can be felt but not overpowering. Easily tell its heavier on the Indica side - will only know for sure once I try Zkittlez pheno 1.
Curing will take some time. Generally I find 8 weeks minimum tends to give me a good quality product. I will be burping the mason jars twice a day for the next 2 weeks or so and add a 58% Bodeva pack. I prefer 58% vs 62% because I tend to use a Pax vaporizer.
