RobsterOR Apr 18 Got these seeds for free with an RQS Order. Wasn't planning on planting Photos but now am curious. Those will move outside to a south facing balcony once the weather fits and the plants are strong enough. So, now is the best time to germinate them.
Will definitely feed, top and LST, but otherwise curious how well they do just outside, in a not so controlled environment ;)
Apr 20 Jeez, just 1,5 days after putting them in a wet towel they grew a ROOT. I realized I didnt have small pots (prepared for autos) and stores are closed so I mcgyvered two pots from empty plastic bottles. Taped the sides so the roots have it dark, and put some holes in the bottom for drainage. Put in the coco-perlite-castings mix and hope for the best ;)
Also checked out the balcony. should have direct sun 6-8 hours a day in mid may when I put them out. FIngers crossed!
Apr 21 Jeez, they already sprouted. 2,5 days from making them wet. They might be monsters o.O

Since the Thunder twins are pioneering the new equipment those 2 can profit and take off faster than the other two as they are a bit younger.
Magda has an interesting coloration of one leaf. But i have seen these kinds of "cow spots" on young plants before and I am not worrying, in fact my last one was the plant with the highest yield in the end. I guess she just wants to be a little special :)
I wish we could save nutrient combinations here, but these 2 also are drinking AV in coco now.
I wonder when the best time to repot them would be... But I need to wash and buffer more coco first. Sigh. Guess I better get it over with, weather is fine enough today to be handling a lot of water outside...
D13: They grow! Discoloration in Magda starts to resolve, yay!
RobsterOR Week start May 3, D15
Thosse 2 are also taking off.
D20: topped them and took the lowest 2 branches off to hopefully grow a six branch star on each. They are being fed alongside the Thunder Twins currently, receiving a majority of grow nutes. Seem to be doing fine, letting the branches grow out now before I start training them.

I don't wanna talk about it. My buddy feeds birds at the same balcony and I kept finding broken off branches until I realized that those fuckers likely tried to sit on the trained, horizontal ones, breaking them... (definitely wasnt me. I know how to train, I mean look at the twins). I leave them fine one day and come back to broken plants the next morning, several times. )
I have 2 arms on each plant left. Just letting them roll at this point.
Never had a plant that I photographed in vertical format, lol....
