A well-balanced genetic that stands out for a hybrid structure that develops vigorously in the growth stage and does not have a large stretch rate (1.5X) in the first weeks of flowering, making it ideal for indoor cultivation where there is not much room for growth. Good branching, robust stems and a high production level. In 8 weeks of flowering you will be able to harvest.

27.04 βΎ As usual, I soaked the seed in water overnight and then sealed it in moist absorbent cotton pads in airtight boxes.
28.04 βΎ One day later, the radicle had already developed and I was able to carefully plant the seed in the substrate in a coco jiffy with the root facing downwards for best results.
29.04 βΎ Day 1 - today the head was already visible - For the first few days it is under a SANlight Flex II with 200 PPFD in my plant cabinet, where I also have high humidity due to my plants that are below - now she gets a little root juice 2ml on1 liter tap water.
30.05 βΎ I transplanted the little one into a 1 liter pot filled with BioBizz light mix.

πΈThe first one to three weeks of a grow are always the most exciting for me. There's so much happening, and at the same time, you constantly find yourself asking questions: Am I doing everything right? Is the light too strong or too weak? Am I giving too many nutrients? Too much water? Especially in the beginning, it's easy to feel unsure β but over time, you learn to better understand what your plants need.
I've become more relaxed when I see a leaf develop some spots or turn dry and crispy β it's part of the process. No plant is perfect. Just like us. And thatβs perfectly okay. Plants are incredibly resilient and have one main goal: to reproduce.
This week, Iβm starting with nutrients. Iβm following the recommended feeding schedule, but Iβm beginning cautiously with only half the dosage for the base nutrients. Gradually, Iβll increase to around three-quarters. All plants will get the same dose for now so I can closely observe how each one reacts. 100 ml
πΈGrape Guava: She is not above average in speed but not slow in development either...she does what she should hehe...let's see what she manages to grow this week.

πΈGrape Guava still grows like a broccoli haha...very dense, but strong and healthy. It's now also starting to flower, I'm looking forward to the stretch.
πΈI never actually do a big defoliation in the veggie phase, why would I do that? In my eyes it only has disadvantages, I can usually do most of the work with hooks and LST and just push the leaves back down every day, of course you have to remove some leaves, but the more leaves you remove and damage the plant the longer it takes to recover. It doesn't look nice and clean this way, but we want to get the maximum out of the plant.... we certainly hope so haha...

πΈThis week I wanted to stress my sweetys as little as possible, so only a few photos from the tent. They are standing perfectly straight and I didn't want to break or snap anything off. They are doing great.
πΈI tried out my additional light this week and connected it to my controller. As soon as the flowering starts I will switch it on. I'll have to see how much distance I use this time, the lamps were too close to the plants during the last grow βRuntzβ and that didn't look nice.
πΈNext week I will start giving her Big Bud as soon as the first buds appear.
πΈGrape: Growing densely, but very healthy and green. I think the 3 plants at the back are taking a bit of light from each other. She didn't grow as wide, but that was also due to my training hehe

πΈthe first flowering week is over and I think the stretch is over 65 cm - this means she has stretched 30 cm. I'm very excited to see how the sweeties develop now, I think this is the most exciting phase.
πΈI have to admit that I don't like her look that much, but that's also because she's beached in the back corner and hasn't had as much training as the ladies in the front :D So it was me, but I'm very excited to see how she develops. πΈWe were lazy about photos this week, just a few from the tent...The plants were fed with nutrients as usual this week. Bud development has started to progress, with early calyx formation and visible white pistils. The light intensity was increased to 90% to support optimal flowering. Overall, the plants appear healthy and vigorous.
πΈI should actually defoliate the Grape a bit too, I've done the least and had to do the most with her so far haha... I should have made more of an effort with her, she will produce decent buds for sure π
πΈI follow this guide a bit - they test the lamps once at 80% and once at 100% light output...I will settle at 90% and still have room to go down and up

πΈThe Grape Guava is in very good health. The buds have visibly increased in volume and are beginning to become denser and more compact. The pistils are turning increasingly orange, a clear sign that they have reached the ripening stage. The flowers are richly covered with trichomes, which indicates a high resin content. The picture shows many trichomes that are still milky, indicating active resin production.
πΈThe typical sweet, fruity smell of Grape Guava is becoming more and more intense.
πΈI really need to reduce the humidity. I have four fans and an additional air supply, which provides more than adequate air circulation.

Day 98 π β Grape Guava
πΈ Grape Guava is in top form. The buds are significantly larger and denser than they were a week ago and extremely resinous β trichome development is excellent. The trichomes appear predominantly milky, with a small proportion of clear heads. The ripening time seems to be right on schedule.
πΈ The aroma has developed into a fruity, almost tropical-sour direction β intense, with a sweet note that is very characteristic. The genetic line seems to be coming through well here.
πΈ The humidity was still a little too high this week (63%), but is now stable in the target range of 50β60% thanks to the use of the dehumidifier and the clip fans turned up to full power. The slight temperature increase of 2β3 Β°C is easily manageable.
πΈ Water requirements have also decreased significantly, which is consistent with the advanced flowering phase. I will give her one last week of Overdrive (Advanced Nutrients), after which I will only use clear water for flushing.

Day 105 π β Grape Guava - last photos before harvest
πΈ Grape Guava has reached full maturity. The buds are now completely ripe, denser than ever, and coated with a thick layer of trichomes. On closer inspection, the trichomes are predominantly milky with about 10β15% amber heads β the perfect ripeness window for a balanced effect.
πΈ The aroma is incredibly intense: a mix of sweet, fruity notes with a strong tropical twist, rounded out by a slightly sour nuance. Very characteristic of the genetics and noticeably stronger than just a week ago.
πΈ Environmental conditions are now dialed in β humidity stays stable between 50β55%, and temperatures remain steady in the target range. Ventilation is running reliably, eliminating any risk of mold at this stage.
πΈ Water demand has dropped further. Since Day 100 she has only been given clear water for flushing. The leaves are starting to fade slightly, a good sign that stored nutrients are being fully mobilized.

πΈGrape Guava β Extended Ripening for Maximum Potency & Aroma The harvest will be completed in the next few days. The buds are now fully swollen, coated in a thick, glassy layer of trichomes that sparkle under light. Most of the orange pistils have receded, a classic sign of peak ripeness. The leaves are gently fading, confirming that stored nutrients are being fully mobilized.
πΈ Aroma & Terpene Profile The scent has intensified even further: guava, grape, and a hint of passionfruit, rounded out by a subtle sour twist. Touching the buds leaves a sticky resin on the fingers β a clear indicator of high trichome density.

First Impressions
This was my first run with genetics from Grand Cru Genetics, and I have to say, the Grape Guava really surprised me in a positive way. The buds didnβt grow to be the largest, but they came out extremely dense and compact, which is definitely a plus when it comes to drying and curing.
Aroma
Right after harvest, the flowers already carry a very pleasant sweet and slightly fruity scent. Thereβs a subtle yet distinct guava note that blends beautifully with the sweetness, giving the overall aroma a fresh and inviting touch.
Structure
The buds are resinous, compact, and firm. Even though the individual buds are on the smaller side, their density makes up for it, leading to a solid overall yield. The flower structure is perfect for clean processing.
οΈ Yield
The total wet weight came in at 368 g premium buds. After drying and curing, I expect the final dry weight to be around 70β90 g, depending on moisture loss, lets see

Schnabeldino For my first trial run with Grand Cru Genetics, Iβm definitely impressed. This strain shows great potential for flavor lovers and will be interesting to run again in the future.
With a little more care and training, she could have achieved more, but she stood in the far corner of the tent and was difficult to reach.
Drying takes place in our Dryomat; delivery of the Dryrocket has been delayed. According to my information, it will not arrive until October...perfect for winter growing.
Photos are wet buds. Once they are dry, the smoke report will follow!!!

I think they could include stickers with every package (min. 3 seeds), but I would prefer to print them myself with a 3D printer. π
