Week 3,day 21.Starting to thrive,they took the topping really well,especially the sweet zkittlez,looking very nice(the grey spots on the leaves are from the solution I'm watering with).I'll give them another 9-10 days of veg.
Week 4,day28
Starting 12/12 in a couple of days,looking pretty good,still no sign of deficiency,probably gonna start giving them actual food in a week or so.The Zkittlez are looking very good and took the topping pretty well too,one of the holy grail's is smaller than the rest(the one on the right) but the others are great.
Starting to stretch,looking good as always,no problems so far.Looks like the one on the right is going to remain small,but all the rest are thriving.I did some LST here and there to kind of level all the tops.
Week 6,day41
The Zkittlez are really starting to stretch and now they are taller than the HGK,had to remove some leaves to expose lower tops on the holy grails as they've become very bushy.Sorry for the quality,but my camera is busted,I'll fix it for next week.
Week 7,day 49
Camera still busted,sorry for that,the plants stretched pretty nicely,I'm adding molasses to the water,and from this week on I'll start adding Bloombastic by atami.But a little dissapointed because the one on the right(the stretched one) produced some male flowers and I had to pick them out,the tops are fine though,but the middle of the plant had at least 10-15 male balls,everything else is great.So sick of plants turning hermie on me,thinking of switching to regular seeds in the future.
Also there were a lot of mutations from the holy grail,I'll show them next week.
End of week 4,day 49 from seed.
Welcome to the jungle hahah,It's getting really hard to water,so I've removed some lower branches that weren't getting enough light,No ph problem or anything,but....I wanted to say that I'm very disappointed with the holy grail, I mean,hermies-had to pick out like 10-15 male flowers from one plant,all type of mutations on a couple of plants which don't affect the buds or quality but still.....For the money I was expecting some top genetics,but looks like I'll have to look elsewhere.
The zkittlez though,excellent plant structure,took the topping really well,they stretched perfectly,and look perfect,should've put more than 2.Royal queen seeds really surprised me this time and I can't wait to see the final product.

End of week 5,day 63
Buds are forming nicely,not big but nicely :D .They've stopped stretching at this point and I've used up most of my food,but what's left will be exactly enough.No problems so far,the Zkittlez smells so sweet and sour,I can't wait to try it.The holy grail smell is more piney and really strong.
End of week 6,day 70
The buds are starting to harden now,had to do some tying up one the tall one,because it was leaning like crazy.The smell got really intense the last few days,Im really proud with the zkittlez,looking better everyday,the buds are rock hard and the smell is just something else.I was sceptical of the holy grail,but it looks like it's gonna pull through with some good buds of it's own.
End of week 7,day 79
Had to do a lot of tying up,because of the stalks leaning like crazy.My friend helped me with keeping them from snapping while making these photos :D .I'm done with feeding them,and for the last two weeks I'll be watering with ripen only.
End of week 8,day 87
Harvest time is close,most of the buds are rock hard at this point.One or two of the holy grail's are a little whiter than the others,but also I've spotted some bananas here and there so probably gonna chop it all down soon.Lowered the light cycle to 10/14 for the last 10 days.Next post will be harvested dried buds and overall results.
Ok,first of all,I'm really disappointed,and can easily say this is the most unstable genetics I've ever grown(growing for 10 years now).The buds look good and the high is decent,but that's it.More than one hermied out,I found single male flowers scattered around the plant's,also there were seeds here and there,THANK GOD it didn't mess with the Zkittlez.A lot of people around me are also mad with DNA genetics.They also had plants that showed very weak genetics.Maybe I got a bad batch,buuuut come on,are you telling me that all the people I know got bad batches.Maybe they send the shitty seeds to europe and keep the good in America hahah.
Overall-just some weed for me to smoke,nothing special,nothing more.
I Would never grow this again.
Just another strain from royal queen that I absolutely love.This is maybe the best weed I have ever grown,and these photos don't do it justice.It looks 10 times better in person.The smell is crazy strong as is the taste.One of the few plants I've ever grown that have an actual aftertaste which is the same as the smell.Even though I have just 2 plants of this,It's enough to keep me happy and distracted from my disappointment with the holy grail.I'm putting this Top shelf weed in a special place and will smoke this only on special occasions.It's very strong hitting,and it even got me a little paranoid the first time which is crazy,because I've been smoking for 10 years now.My mouth got reaaally dry,and I can't remember the last time my eyes were that red.
Thank you Royal queen seeds for providing me with this great strain,and I'm so sorry that I couldn't plant more of them,next time It's all Zkittlez in my grow room.My new favorite strain period.
