So I’m really thinking I’m 2ish weeks behind. My question is:
1)Should I go back to week 3 nutrient ratios to add more nitrogen to help with the needs of stetch phase and lower the yellowing I have or stay at the 5 ratios and just bump them up to a higher ppm?
2)Would it be safe to say that I could defoliate like I was in early flower, kind of a harder defoliation to allow light to penetrate better.
I had not seen the plants for the past 3 days as I worked night shifts and Couldn't make it home before the lights went off in the morning. I’m pleasantly pleased with the progress over the past couple days/week and glad it has started to make some noticeable progress. I am wondering about the Cali kush in the front left corner as it’s got some serious stretch happening. I have been doing lst to the tops directly under the hood to try to keep them short. The light is at 50% of 1000w and as high as I can get it in the tent so I’m mildly concerned about it getting too close to the light, but it’ll be what it is unless somebody has a suggestion.
R2 seems to be a slow goer but she is stacked. Peak seeds has some kush crosses that according to their website are 10+ week strains and I’m wondering if it’s one of those taking a bit longer to transition coupled with the 2 week delay....we’ll see.
I mixed 3 gal worth of nutes to 4 gal of water that’s why the ratios are a bit strange. Just made 3/4 strength. Going to bump it up a touch or maybe full strength depending on what they look like in the next days. Added 5ml cal mag, 2ml hygrozyme, 2ml carbs and 2.5 prosilicate / gal to my water between feedings to keep the ppm down on the feeding to avoid tip burn.
I have learned something with this grow and that is, previously I have transplanted too close to flipping to flower and my media held a ton of excess salt due to less root mass in the new media. The tds in my runoff is significantly lower this round and watering are every 3ish days rather that 5-7. Learn from your mistakes and move on.
Thanks again for the hundredth time to everyone who’s helped and advised. These girls would be hacked down laying in the back field as deer food without it. :+1::skin-tone-2:
