Smobis_Grow 3 out of 3 seeds germinated on 03/06/2025, full success. On day 2, day 4, and day 7, I lightly watered the plants. Regular water with a pH of about 6.3. Otherwise, I just let them do their thing.

Smobis_Grow They are developing very nicely. No major issues that I notice. On day 18 and 20, I noticed some small dark spots on #3, I will keep an eye on it.
On day 16, they were watered and fertilized for the first time:
- 15l of water (5l per plant)
- pH about 6.1
- 30ml FishMix in 15l = 2ml/l

Smobis_Grow Plants look top-notch as always. On day 40, I noticed signs of a CalMag deficiency, in my opinion. I decided to start with the preventative dosage of BioBizz CalMag.
Actions this week:
Day 36:
- defoliated
- LST
Day 38:
- installed a second fan
- adjusted light to about 600 - 630 ppfd
Day 40:
- watered about 6.3l per plant
- 10ml FishMix + ?ml CalMag in 20l water, pH about 6.6

Smobis_Grow Plants have developed super well and have gone through the veg phase without any problems. In some spots, I noticed that I may have overdone the defoliation a bit. Relatively early on, I also overwatered them briefly, but I got that under control quickly. However, this did stretch the veg phase a little since I hindered the plant's growth a bit. The plants handled it very well, recovered nicely, and mastered the veg phase. On day 43, the light cycle was switched to 12/12, thus initiating the flowering stage.
Actions this week:
Day 43:
- Switch to 12/12 light cycle
Day 46:
- Light defoliation
- Adjusted LST
- Watered about 6.3l per plant
- 1/4 of the Grow nutrients + 1/4 of the Bloom nutrients + 0.5ml/l CalMag

Smobis_Grow The next flowering week is complete, and the plants have developed beautifully. The buds are getting bigger, and the three are starting to really push out some nice trichomes. Very nice! On some buds, a slight purpling can be seen on the sugar leaves. Hope that's the good purpling haha.
Otherwise, I've noticed that Plant #2 (untopped) is showing signs of a beginning nutrient deficiency. It's quite a bit lighter than the others, especially the leaf edges are turning light. Next time I water, I will mix separate watering for Plant #2 so I can address the supposed deficiency with a higher nutrient amount. Let's see what next week brings :D
Actions this week:
Day 64 / BT 22
- watered about 7.6l per plant
- pH about 6.3
- 75ml Grow + 75ml Bloom + 20ml CalMag in 25l water

Smobis_Grow The three plants are continuing to develop really well – they all look great and give off a strong and, above all, healthy impression. What's particularly exciting right now is that you can slowly but clearly see the different phenotypes. One is already showing some nice purpling, while another has a significantly stronger trichome formation compared to its sisters. The scent is also different – two smell wonderfully fruity, but the third is going in a completely different direction that I can't quite pinpoint yet. I find it super exciting to observe. And I'm curious to see what the next few weeks will bring.
The slight nutrient deficiency in plant #2 that I noticed last week has completely disappeared by now. The slightly increased nutrient dosage (1.5x amount) has balanced it out perfectly – it's back to a juicy green and looks like nothing ever happened.
Overall, I'm super satisfied with the three girls – they make me really proud. I'm already mega excited for the next few weeks and can't wait to see how each one develops further. ✨🌿
Actions this week:
Day 71 / BT 29
- Watered plant #1 and #3 with about 7l per plant
- pH about 6.3
- 60ml Grow + 45ml Bloom + 15ml CalMag in 15l
- Watered plant #2 with about 7l
- pH about 6.3
- 47ml Grow + 36ml Bloom + 8ml CalMag in 8l
Day 77 / BT 35
- Watered about 7.7l per plant
- pH about 6.3
- 100ml Grow + 100ml Bloom + 25ml CalMag in 25l

Smobis_Grow Another week has passed and the three have continued to develop splendidly. Plant #1 is still pushing out beautiful trichomes and Plant #3 is getting more and more purple. Sooo beautiful. Number 2 is not as flashy and looks quite standard (which doesn’t mean it isn’t pretty!).
Unfortunately, I had a little mishap on day 89. While watering, I accidentally broke off a bud. Well, now I have a test bud. I quickly dried it in the oven (yeah, I know^^) and tasted it. And what can I say, a slight effect was noticeable. It definitely increases the anticipation for the real harvest.
From now on, I’ll be checking the trichomes every few days to see if they’re turning brown.
Otherwise, I hope they won’t take too long, I’m impatient and so full of excitement.
Actions this week:
Day 89 / BT 47
- about 5l per plant watered
- pH about 6.3
- 100ml Grow + 100ml Bloom + 30ml CalMag in 25l

Smobis_Grow So, after about 8 1/2 weeks, I unfortunately have to part ways with my three beauties. The trichomes are to my satisfaction, and they will now be harvested. Since I'll be away for a while and the plants therefore have a certain "minimum drying time," I've decided to dry them all at once. This should hopefully counteract the indoor temperatures that tend to rise a bit in spring/summer. Hopefully, the three will dry slowly and gently.
Currently, I'm managing to keep the humidity at around 50% - 55% and about 23°C.
What else can I say... It was a great grow. The plants were super easy to grow, really gave me no problems as a beginner, and were just impressive and exciting in terms of appearance, smell, and growth pattern. Peyote Critical will definitely find its way back into my tent!
What learnings am I taking away from this grow?
- better lollipopping
- not to be so timid with the nutrients
- lower light for more intensity
- start plants in smaller pots, makes watering easier at the beginning
@DiamondBrothers, Defoliation means that I removed leaves from the plant. This ensures better light distribution within the plant. It also improves air circulation in the plant, which reduces the risk of mold, among other things.
