Girls are looking pretty good this week other than a little heavy on the nutrients due to evaporation. Did the usual 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrents to start the week. Ph at 6.0 pumping nutrient 30 minute intervals every 4 hours. Starting to see some nice trichome production. A few calyxes here and there are starting to puff up a little. Just going to keep on keeping on mixing this fire & water.
@underfunded, thanks for checking it out. I just use plain tap water to root them. No hormones or anything. I have done it without adding an air pump, but adding a little air hose makes the method pretty much foolproof. Almost 100% sucess doing it this way. Just keep them from getting too hot(about 75f) and not too intense light.
@amazongrow, i agree i was gonna ask about your cloning reservoir but then i found the info you provided, very cool to see it worked, I personally am a terrible cloner so will begin using this method. did you even use a rooting hormone?
is this just perlite in a netpot ??? i struggle with clay pellets and hydroton cube lol wtf but i think the perlite would fall to much trough my netpot. but great idea.. hope the perlite blocks the light enough
@Reaper, the bucket is completely full of perlite. My nutrients pump from a reservoir and drain out of the bottom of the bucket. It is a Dutch bucket style setup. It works better for me than other hydroponics I have tried. I have had issues with clay pebbles an all of that in dwc also along with the airstones. I think my first week of my older fastbuds diary I tried to describe the system.
If you wanna grow a beautiful plant with massive yields then you need to look into "Champagne Kush" by Seedism Seedbank. Check out my diary on her to see what I'm talking about!
@Kushlove420, I checked it out. Excellent work on that one! I used to grow some big sativa's outside. This grow was done on a 130w light. I will check that strain out. Thanks
the lot of hairs is a mistake by harvesting way too early, if u waited another 3 weeks they would be much denser and potend and smelling very strong. i had the same problem and my weed smelled like hay
@Reaper, I appreciate the info on that. I knew something was off with it. This grow really got out of control and it didn't get the care it should have.
@@Lucimago,thanks! I normally wouldn't clone buds but they happened to be in flower when I had the opportunity to get them. Monster crops usually start off with branches shooting out everywhere and they don't need much training. That is the benefit most people use the method for. I had some time with them so I went ahead and did some topping and training. I'm anxious to see how they shape up once they stretch.
