TerpToad Summer is starting, time for some outdoor growing! I want to try this strain since some time now, but my indoor growspace is occupied. So I decided to try it outdoors first and give it another shot once the growtent is empty. The Cherry Zoap will get a nice place on my balcony in a 7 liter pot. She will get 8-9 hours of direct sunlight each day. If I train her will be tied to the speed of her growth. For the first days she will be kept indoors until the plant is ready.

TerpToad Veg week 1 begins three days after germination. There is nothing yet to report besides the first trips to the sunny balcony during the daytime.

TerpToad after a very nice first week, cherry zoap starts week 2 already as an outdoor-plant, which I didnt plan on originally. But the weather is nice, this girl doesnt mind some cooler nights and I can see every morning how much she grew. So far I am really impressed with her vigor, mind you the pictures were taken on day 1 of week 2, so only after 8 days. Later this week I will decide how to train this plant. I hoped for good growth so I can try and top her, which I never did on an autoflower so far. We will see!

TerpToad At the end of week 2 this Cherry Zoap got topped. She is still recovering but slowly showing new growth, which will hopefully accelerate again in this week. Not much to say right now, patience and sunlight will be enough for this lovely little plant

TerpToad Week 4 starts warm but rainy. The Cherry Zoap is stretching for some light, but looks happy overall. Its safe to say that the shock of topping is over and there is beginning sidebranching. Some aphids were chilling under the leaves. Since there are many different plants around there will most likely always be some of them around, I just take care of them manually every time I spot some. As of the beginning of this week, there are no signs of preflowering. My fear with the topping was an early flower, which seems to be out of the question now :)

TerpToad Week 5 continues with mostly clouds and rain. The Cherry Zoap stretches for some sun, but its ok since there is plenty of space. Otherwise she is looking healthy and is still vegging with no signs of preflower

TerpToad Week 6 brings preflower and sun! There is much new growth and the first signals that the Cherry Zoap will begin to flower soon, probably next week. She grows fast but seems to become a bit hungry, so I will start watering with organic bloom nutrients this week.

TerpToad And we are off to flower! By the looks of it I maybe even missed the first week, since she didnt show a single sign of preflowering. Anyways she does good and gets a light feeding with every watering, appr. 3 times a week

TerpToad Cherry Zoap is now full on in flower and starts fattening her buds. She started to smell, not that strong by now but definetly noticable. Its citrusy and gassy right now and remembers me of the early flower of my previously grown Blue Zushi. From experience I know that this smell can and will change a bunch of times during maturing and curing at the end, but its a nice start!

TerpToad For some days I was was worried because my balcony plants had to endure a very hot day at around 40 C, but the heat vanished as soon as it came and made way for mild temperatures again. The Cherry Zoap was unfazed by this and just put out massive bud growth. I am super happy with how this strain performs so far! She is resilient, eager to grow, shows big buds, nice frost and a pleasent gas to lemon smell. Cant wait to taste her and grow her again under controlled conditions in the future!

TerpToad The buds are continuing to bulk despite of bad weather. These colas will be looking amazing once done! The smell is developing into a skunky direection, there is a surprising cheesy kick to it. Lets see if it sticks around after curing!

TerpToad Still doing what she does best - getting fat and stinky. The buds nearly cover every part of the stem by now, and the smell is balancing out somewhere between gas and fruit right now. Love this pheno so far. I stopped feeding additional nutrients. She will be ready for harvest in one to two weeks and should start to eat up her reserves till the end. Hoping for a beautiful fade but lets see.
