lolasher First week after germination. Today they got their first watering. The LED is running at 30 %, 24/7 for the first 10 days. After it I switch to 18/6. the ionbeams are off until the end of week three. No filter installed, yet. I raise the humidity level to 70 % with the help of the water tank. The ventilator is faced in that direction.

When would you guys implement the ionbeams into the lightcycle? This is my first run with them.

i use them the whole cycle but in increased levels depending on life stage. aiming for level 8 or 10 by the last half of flower. just be mindful of temperature. with my set up they raise the temp a bit too high if im also increasing my main light intensity

The moment they arrive. Just add them to canopy lighting. Undercanopy lighting is flawed. Leaf orientation matters, so if you want them to be effective then you need a suboptimal canopy in the first place...so recursively it is just not logical.

For your first run with Ioneams, here's a general recommendation on when to include them in your light cycle: Seedling Stage: Start with lower intensity or keep them off initially to avoid stressing young plants, Seedlings prefer gentler light. Early Veg (after 1-2 weeks): Gradually introduce IonBeams to complement your main lights, increasing intensity as plants develop. Full Veg and Flower: Run IonBeams at your desired intensity alongside your main lights throughout the light cycle for maximum benefit.

lolasher The plants are doing well. I added the ionbeams for a few hours per day. Day 15: time for topping Day 18: noticed a size difference. I‘m thinking I should use less training on her. The Frostbanger Auto is doing great so far. Light went up to 70%. Added the Ionbeams to the full cycle. I noticed I dont need to train the lower notes - they chose to grow towards the Ionbeams

lolasher Day 22 - Start of week 4. The smaller LCC is starting to grow faster. But Im not 100% satisfied, maybe I leave it as it is right now. I decide within the next 4 days. The frostbanger Auto is growing so fast, its awesome. The plants seem to like the 2,5g/l of greenhouse feeding bio. I think in two weeks I add the bloom fertilizer. They are getting 2l per plant, right now. After 2 weeks with the ionbeams I can say that it is great for trained plants. The single nodes automatically grow towards the lamps, I dont really need to use any kind of force for training. Add: I was fishing for 2,5 days. After it the plants growth exploded - even on the smaller one. Unfortunately they were alteady to thick for training and I didnt want to break a stem, so from now on I let them grow.

lolasher Start of week five. The LCC is much smaller than the Frostbanger. She had little problems with eagleclaws. I flushed her a bit and now she is doing much better. Even the purple stems are turning back to green - I‘m optimistic. I compared mine to other LCCs on growdiaries and it seems that this strain doesnt like training. Im by far not the only one with this problem, but hey, shes still growing in size, so lets talk again in 3 weeks. You can also see the first little signs of flower. I also had a sneaky cat attack, I didnt mean to defoliate her that much. :-) The Frostbangers growthrate is unbelievable. Fastbuds writes on their homepage, that she SHOULD be the much smaller plant. Well… they didnt tell that to her! And still no flowersigns at all! I gave the LCC the Bloomfertilizer of green house feeding. 3g/l

lolasher Start of a new week. The ladys are developing great. As always, I lollipopped them a bit and removed the lower new stems. I added the UV function from my LED. Lets see how they like it. By the way: The LCC is turning to purple! :-)

lolasher Start of week 8 and they are developing great. Now you can really see the dark red/purple buds on the LCC. I lollipopped her a bit and removed the inner and lower „buds“. The Frostbanger Auto is getting purple leaves around the buds. I did the same defoliation for her. I also maximized the light intensity and put the LED 45cm over the buds. 35 cm was too close to the plants

lolasher Next week, next problem. Ordered sf-nematodes against these shitty flies. Hope they arrive soon. Except of that the buds are developing great and that smell… okay, its mostly the FBA, but the LCC smells nice too (if you put her out of the tent). Im happy with the development and as far as i can see, even the LCC will create a nice amount of weed. I also added another fan. The FBA is pretty frosty for this early stage of flower.

lolasher After the FBA was chopped, the LCC remains alone for at least one more week. You can really see the damages the flies left. A few leafes are turning red. Its time for a bit more color!
