green9975 I began this journal not knowing if I'd make the same mistake again, letting it grow in the sun, too fragile to last. But this time, somehow, it's holding on.

green9975 She's standing tall and showing off her first true leaves. The green is vibrant, the symmetry is on point, and no signs of stretching or weakness so far.
I’m keeping an eye on the soil moisture and letting her adjust to the light slowly. Happy with the progress.

green9975 She’s now moved into her new home under the grow light, and she’s adapting well. Leaves are broadening nicely, growth is steady, and her color is a healthy green.
Light is set to ~60%, distance carefully adjusted to avoid stress. Temperature and humidity are under control, and she seems to love the stable environment.
From now on, it’s all about structure and root development. Let’s see what this week brings.

green9975 Did some light defoliation and started a bit of LST. The plant’s looking strong with a beautiful deep green color. I’m being careful not to stress her too much, so just taking it slow for now and letting her adjust.

green9975 The plant is looking healthy, entering early flower with tight node spacing. I added another bowl of water to help stabilize humidity, thanks to a helpful tip from the community. The smell is starting to get a bit stronger, and I think it's just about time to begin introducing bloom additives.

green9975 Finished LST and topping this week. She bounced back beautifully, sitting at 10 nodes now, which is a bit more than most seem to push, but she’s handling it like a champ. Just flipped to 12/12, so this will be her last week of major defoliation. She’s super healthy, vibrant green, and the structure is tight and bushy. I’ll remove all the lower leaves that aren’t getting light and aren’t useful, to focus the plant’s energy on the top.

green9975 Everything’s going smooth in the tent. We’re officially two weeks into the 12/12 flip, however, the first signs of flowering are still weak. The plant is stretching nicely and looking healthy, no signs of deficiencies or stress.
New Clone Introduction:
Super happy to announce that I’ve successfully rooted and planted a new clone! It’s now settled in a fabric pot and adjusting nicely under a similar environment. This one it’s already showing strong growth and healthy leaves. Can’t wait to see how she develops alongside the rest. If I haven't made a mistake, when it is harvest time, it will be the right time to give the clone more light.

green9975 I have finally reached the point where I can say the flowering phase has officially begun. After weeks of care and training, the plant has responded very well to all the work done so far.
I thought there was no longer any need for defoliation, but I was wrong. The leaves were blocking too much light from reaching the budding sites, so I decided to remove all the leaves that were shading the flowers. The result is optimal light exposure and more energy directed where it matters most.
I also want to share my custom LST method. I use S-shaped 3D printed guides that allow precise and clean branch shaping. If anyone wants the 3D file, let me know and I’ll be happy to send it to you.
Let me know what you think and happy growing to everyone.

green9975 This week I’ve noticed a little shift as the flowers are finally starting to smell more like actual buds and less like just a generic "plant" scent. It’s subtle, but definitely a good sign. I also started giving more water, as the plant seems to be getting thirstier more often. Probably because the flowers are developing and she’s working harder. Overall, things are going smoothly, and I'm happy with the progress. Now it’s just about maintaining stable conditions and letting her do her thing.

green9975 Buds are really starting to fill out nicely this week. The pistils are still mostly white, so I’m thinking there’s still a bit of time to go before harvest. Trichomes are beginning to get frosty, and the aroma is getting stronger every day. Keeping a close eye on humidity and airflow as things bulk up. Defoliated lightly to let more light hit the lower sites. Very happy with the progress.
