Mephisto-Aunt Ginny's Elixir #3

renbuds This grow started 10 days after AG Encore as a backup. Planted seed in container after soaking in water to start. Will transplant to autopot 3.9g later. Using Canna products this time instead of AN.

renbuds Transplanted to Autopot 3.9 gallon on day 11. Immediately started getting the yellowing of the leaves like on AGE #2.

renbuds Day 17-Fimmed the top. Day 19-No adverse effects from FIM. It's growing back fast. Finally starting to see leaves losing the yellowish tint. Moved both AGE's into double wide autopot and turned on autopot. Now both plants are on the same feed. Even though AGE #2 is 10 days older I think they are just about at the same stage of growth and size. I'll look to make sure AGE #3 handles it well. Day 20-Did some defoliation of fan leaves to expose lower branches. Plant is starting to get a healthy green color back again. Autopot and airdome are both on now.

renbuds 5/23-Looking for some stretch this week. Starting at 4 inches. Plant is back to a healthy green color. She's tightly stacked at the moment. I'm trying to get the branches to grow wider now. The area where I Fimmed is looking good. 5/27-Looking good. Up to 5 inches now. Did first bit of LST tieing down lower branches. 5/29-Starting to look like preflower is around the corner. A This grow is the first time I've used Canna products and while its product line is alot simpler than the AN nutes I've used in the past I'm not sold that its actually better. The plants are green now but I had lots of issues early on with yellowing leaves which I think stunted the growth of the other Aunt Ginny (#2) which I'm growing. Instead of adding the CannaBoost I decided to go with some AN Bud Ignitor into the mix to see if we can spur the transition to flower now. I'm interested to see how Canna and AN play together.

renbuds 6/3-Increased nute load a bit. Getting close to preflower now. 6/5-Looking good as she enters transition to flower. Did some defol to spread branches and get light to all the branches.

renbuds 6/7- She's definitely entered the preflower stage with lots of bud sites emerging. Added some Advanced Nutrients into the mix. I've increased my target VPD to 1.2 now as we get into flowering phase. The AC Infinity AI+ controller is keeping it dialed in like John Williams conducting an orchestra. Autopots Easy2Grow is making the watering easy as can be. Right now all the automation is working together really well and reducing my work load to monitoring EC in the reservoirs. 6/8-Getting a little shaggy so I did some defoliation to expose bud sites to more light. 6/13-Starting stretch. Up to 14 inches now. Bud sites are emerging nicely.

renbuds 6/13-Up to 13.5 inches tall now as the stretch starts in earnest. Buds are shaping up nicely. I've added the whole AN bloom boosters into the feeding with no adverse affects. Trimmed off as many of the smaller little bud sites to concentrate on quality of bud v yield. It's always hard cutting them away though. I've also added supplemental lighting under the canopy 24/7 to see if I can fatten up the bottom a bit. Let's see how it works out in the end. 6/19-Stretched big this week up to 19 inches. Bud sites are popping now.

renbuds 6/26-Continues solid growth.

renbuds 7/4-Back from a week off and things are going very well. Plant has good color. Buds are stacking nicely and getting sticky. Much more than my other AGE which is 10 days older.

renbuds Week 7/8-AGE 2 is harvested now and she's alone in the tent. This plant is much more healthy than her previous tent mate. Got one tall stem and then lots of other branches spread across even canopy. Trichomes are getting cloudy with first hints of amber. Using supplemental lighting on 4 sides now to fatten up interior buds (hopefully). She's drinking lots of water now. 7/9-Added AN Overdrive into the nute mix. Looks like she's gotta another week to 10 days left now. 7/10-Getting closer. Buds are getting more dense including some of the buds lower in the canopy. I think the supplemental lighting on the sides might be making a difference. More amber triochomes but still not close to 25-30% coverage I want to see. My first AGE from this tent has got another 4-5 days in the Dry/Cure box to go. So I'll wait at least that long before flush and then harvest so I have room in the box for what looks to be a much bigger yield than the other AGE. Will start flush tomorrow with RO water only until harvest.

renbuds 7/13-Started flush with RO water and Flawless Finish on Day 71. The trichomes are getting more and more amber now. Leaves are starting to fade from green to golden color. Buds are really fattening up and adding density. Maybe another 3 to 4 days now til harvest. 7/14-Trichomes are showing its time. I trimmed the buds on the plant tonight to prepare for harvest in the morning.

renbuds 4/15-Lots of nice sticky buds. Wet weight of 417.4 is very solid. If she dries at the same percentage as my other recent AGE grow she will net between 4 and 5 ounces in the end which would be triple what the previous plant netted. It will be very interesting to see how she tests against her tentmate in terms of THC and CBD. I'll post results.
