First DWC grow (Mephisto run)

Fizwig The plants appear to be thriving and in good health. Since this is my first time growing in a Deep Water Culture (DWC) setup, I'm still learning what to expect at each stage, but so far, things are looking very promising. The foliage is lush and green, with no signs of nutrient burn or other noticeable issues. I’ve observed some slight discoloration on the roots, though I believe this is likely due to the nutrient solution rather than any cause for concern. On particularly hot days, the reservoir temperatures have been creeping above my ideal range. To manage this, I’ve started adding frozen elements when the temperature rises above 22–23°C, which has helped maintain a more stable environment. My EC levels are on the higher side (1.7–2.1), but the plants don’t seem to be negatively affected. In fact, they appear to be absorbing nutrients steadily — the PPM decreases slightly with each check — so I’m taking that as a positive sign. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the progress so far! Current Stats: pH: 5.6 – 5.8 EC: 1.7 – 2.1

Fizwig The girls have officially entered the flowering phase — and so far, everything is going smoothly! 😄 I barely had time to notice the pre-flower signs before the buds started forming. It’s clear how much faster things move in DWC compared to soil 🌱⚡ That said, the plants are a bit on the smaller side. I suspect it’s due to the light placement — they’re positioned quite close, which might be limiting vertical growth. 💡↔️🌿 The roots are looking healthy and continue to grow nicely! 🙌 However, the discoloration is getting a bit more noticeable. I'm not too worried — it seems to be caused by the nutrient solution rather than an actual problem. 💧 20L water per bucket ⚡ EC: 2.4 - 2.6 🌡️ pH: 5.5 - 5.9
