Meisterwulle Hello everyone!
First of all, a big thank you to Dutch Passion for the sponsorship and participation in this contest!
It's my first time growing seeds from Dutch Passion, and of course, I'm curious to see how they perform :)
The germination of the seeds went smoothly; after about a day and a half, they already formed roots. After that, I raised them for another 2 days in a seedling set with soil. I filled the remaining spots in the seedling tent with water and also sprayed the lid to achieve a relatively high humidity. I think it worked really well. After that, they were directly planted into the final pot.
I know I could have transplanted them into a smaller pot first - but I'm a bit lazy 😅 and a bit clumsy when it comes to that.
I'm excited to see where this journey takes me; I would also like to use this run as an opportunity to experiment a bit with training and test their robustness.
Best, Wulle

Meisterwulle Happy Father's Day everyone!
The week went smoothly, I find the growth for the first week very good! I've set the light intensity to 25% (~ 75W) and so far it's going quite well. The lamp is hanging about 70 cm above the "canopy" - I'm trying to maintain this distance as much as possible until the flowering phase. It's still a bit too early for training, I'll probably start that around week 2-3.
This time I also tried a new nutrient, this one is more mineral-based with advanced nutrients, and so far it's working quite well :)
Otherwise, it's just a matter of waiting to see how the plants develop and also maintaining the environmental conditions.
I wish you all a nice weekend and stay high!
Cheers, Wulle

Meisterwulle Hello everyone!
The plants have developed very well and are growing quite fast! After about 2 weeks, you could already see 4 nodes. I topped at the 2nd node and am now trying my hand at main lining. The goal is, of course, to achieve a fairly even canopy or height - I'm curious if it works out, it's my first attempt and I have no idea if the strain is suitable for it. But trying is better than studying ;)
So far, no abnormalities - temperatures are quite stable and the RH only fluctuates between 50 and 60. I've slightly increased the amount of water, about 300 mL every two days. I can't see any differences in the phenotypes yet, growth is pretty much the same for all and the fan leaves are all quite indica-shaped.
Let's see what the next weeks bring, I’ll wait a few days until the side branches grow and then tie them down.
Wishing you all a great weekend - Stay high 😁

Meisterwulle Hello everyone!
The week went by very calmly, the plants look healthy, the growth is a bit slow and not quite perfect. For #1, only one shoot has grown from node 1 instead of 2, so I removed that one for symmetry. #2 is doing quite well and looks as planned, #3 also shows asymmetrical growth at the 1st node, but I will keep an eye on it and see what happens. I've slightly increased the amount of water, they need about 500 mL every two days. So far, they are all about the same height, I will now wait for #1 until the new shoots are big enough to top and tie down, I probably won’t top #2 and #3 and will instead go for LST. My goal is 8 main shoots per plant, I think there's not enough space in the tent for 16 and I would extend the veg phase as well.
Let’s see what the next weeks bring - I think all will stay in veg to grow until week 5 or 6 :)
Wishing you a nice weekend and stay high 🍀🏻😁

Meisterwulle Hey,
it's getting warmer and harder to keep the temperatures low! Unfortunately, I lost a branch on #1 - couldn't save it anymore... Nevertheless, the plants are developing quite well, the training doesn't seem to be harming them so far. I'll keep this up for another week and then slowly start the flowering phase ;)
#1 has grown a bit taller than the others, so I'll see how I can keep them roughly at the same height, but the most important thing is, of course, healthy growth! I've slightly increased the water amount while keeping the fertilizer the same - I'll slightly increase the amount next week and also add a bit of Bloom.
I wish you all a great week and stay high 🍀🏽

Meisterwulle Hey you!
The week went very chill and everything is going well. The plants are doing great under the very warm conditions and are growing steadily. I’ll keep them in veg for another 1-2 weeks and watch the growth. I hope #2 and #3 catch up a bit in height; otherwise, I’ll just tie #1 down a little so it doesn’t go wild in growth.
The amount of nutrients has been increased as well as the water amount.
Other than that, everything is as usual, going smoothly so far - with a bit of slow growth, but no problem, we have time ;)

Meisterwulle Hello everyone!
After I wrote last time that I wanted to keep the plants in veg for another week, I changed my mind and sent them into flowering already. The plants were the perfect height and looked healthy, so I took the opportunity right away.
The light intensity was increased to 50% (~ 150W) and hung a bit lower (about 40 cm above the canopy). The amount of water was also increased; they now need about 1L per day. I added Bud Candy (2 mL/L) to the three previous nutrients.
Now it’s just a waiting game until the plants stretch and the tent is nicely filled. Then I’ll adjust everything with a scrog and keep defoliating a bit and watering diligently.
That’s it for now - wishing you all a great week!
Cheers, Wulle

Meisterwulle Hi everyone,
This week I started a big defoliation project (hopefully the last one). The plants look healthy so far, but #2 is lagging a bit in height... but whatever - a lot of flower clusters have developed and I'm overall very happy with the number, the tent is filling up nicely. I cut a few cuttings from each plant just for fun - I don't know yet what I'll do with them, but I thought they were too nice to throw away :) Since #1 has grown taller compared to the others, I thought a scrog would be a good idea. Wishing you all a great week and best regards, Wulle

Meisterwulle Hey,
The plants are currently stretching well, and unfortunately, the different heights can't be avoided... While #1 and #3 are pretty much the same height, #2 is lagging behind a bit. Overall, it seems to be less developed - well, that's just how it is. I put #2 on a small elevation so it can at least keep up a bit... Otherwise, everything looks pretty good, the plants definitely need more water now - I could water with 2L every day.
Wishing you all a great weekend 😎🍀

Meisterwulle Hey folks,
a lot has happened this week, I removed #2 from the tent due to lack of space and put her outside. She's doing great and has quickly adapted to the weather conditions, growing steadily. I also adjusted the nutrients a bit, but just for logistical reasons :D
The other two are also doing excellently and are filling up the whole space in the tent, I adjusted the taller shoots a bit - you'll see that in the pictures next week. Other than that, no issues this week, everything is going according to plan 🏻

Meisterwulle Hey hey,
You lovely people, this week went amazingly, the plants are doing great, you can watch the buds grow every day. The plant outside is also doing very well despite the crappy weather! The buds may not look as thick as in the tent, but I think they look healthy and very decorative 👀😂
Next week the weather is supposed to get better, let's keep our fingers crossed 👍🏻

Meisterwulle Hi everyone,
Unfortunately, the weather hasn't been great the last few weeks, and that also affects the growth of #2. It's really lagging behind and only forming mini buds. It's just lacking light, and the high humidity is also taking a toll on it. In the tent, it's a completely different story: Although the humidity is relatively high here too, averaging 65% this week, the development compared to last week is amazing. I hope I don't have a problem with mold in the coming weeks.
Otherwise, the flower formation and growth are very nice, and you can see the trichomes very well with the naked eye. I've adjusted the nutrients well and added a good amount more. I need to water about every 1.5 days with just under 3 L per plant, and the one outside gets about 3 L every other day.
I'm curious to see if anything happens with #2; otherwise, it’ll just be nice garden decor 😅
Wishing you all a great weekend and stay high 🏻🍀

Meisterwulle What's up growmies,
I forgot to water for two days this week, and the plants really didn't take it well. Luckily, they recovered after another two days, a few leaves turned yellow, and I mostly removed those. The buds are also way too heavy for the stems, so I had to secure them in a few spots. Things are moving pretty quickly right now, and I’ll start the flush next week and gradually lower the light intensity. Wishing you all a great weekend and stay high 🍀😊

Meisterwulle Hello everyone 🍀👀,
The flush has started and it looks wonderful! I'm overall very satisfied with the size of the plants and also with their appearance. I think the training at the beginning has paid off, and of course, I'm curious about how much will come out of this :D. I also have to give a big shoutout to the nutrients - compared to Biobizz, AN has definitely come out on top. Of course, I also used a stronger lamp compared to the last runs, which has significantly influenced the results.
In the close-ups, you can already clearly see orange/brown trichome heads, which is why I will be harvesting next week.
I want to thank everyone who has followed and supported me so far. I would be thrilled to get a like, and feel free to follow me for more diaries in the future. I always enjoy learning and notice that I'm improving my skills from diary to diary.
As mentioned, a report on the harvest will come next week, and in the following weeks, there will be a smoke review.
I wish you all a great weekend, have fun, and stay high 🍀😎
Best, Wulle
Overall very good to grow - resistant to insects (outdoor/indoor) and suitable for HST (topping, main lining, etc.). Grows medium to large. Colors are very vibrant light green to dark green orange.

Meisterwulle Hey folks,
I started harvesting the two plants a few days ago, spent about 3 hours trimming them. There aren't any major color differences, just standard orange, with light to dark green buds. The size of the buds varies between the two plants; one has very long but thinner headbuds, while the other has wider and shorter headbuds. Overall, I weighed about 640g wet (weighed the next day), I think that's a pretty good yield. In hindsight, I could have harvested a week earlier: the trichomes were already quite amber in some spots (see pictures). I also had to cut away a few spots due to mold (I think that was because some branches were too close to the tent wall and due to the fluctuating climate overall). Overall, I'm very satisfied with the grow; I gained a lot of experience and will use it for future grows.
Right now, the two are drying in the tent with a hanging drying net at about 23 degrees and between 55-60 RH. I think they'll be ready for jars in a week, and then I can have a little taste ;)
Thanks again to the sponsor Dutch Passion for the opportunity to be part of this contest. I'm very happy with the strain - there were hardly any complications, the plants were relatively resistant, and the growth was pretty fast.
I'll only be able to do a final review after the tasting (to be honest, I already snipped a branch a week ago and tried it, but of course, that's not really representative of the grow - but it was awesome :P).
Next, I'm going to work with the two cuttings from the plants and the third plant that was initially in the tent - it has gone outside into reveg and will be sent into flowering along with the cuttings after the plants in the tent are dry.
I also want to thank everyone who supported this diary and helped me along the way - I'm really glad to be part of this community, the mutual exchange is really great, and everyone is very friendly :)
I wish you all a nice weekend, and I'll check back in for the smoke review.
Best, Wulle 😻🏻.
Edit:
The buds have been in the jars for about a month now, and I'm here for the smoke review :) Overall, it's a really nice high; depending on how you approach it and what mindset you're in, you feel it accordingly. Great for parties, you feel good, relaxed while dancing, and still quite communicative (but no chatterbox high ;)) Perfect for gaming or just hanging out with friends. The slightly sweeter taste, depending on the phenotype, either reminds you of lemon (plant #1) or is a bit creamier but still fruity like Gelato vibes (plant #3). I can't give a review for plant #2 yet since I just put it in the jars today. And yes - it really did manage to produce a bit haha. However, the buds are very small, and overall I don't think it produced much, but I didn't want to give up on it after it went into reveg twice :P I also took cuttings from plants #1 and #3 - these will be ready for harvest in about 2 weeks. However, they are no longer part of this diary; I think that would make it too extensive. Nevertheless, here's confirmation that this (so far) has also gone well. If I check back in this diary or if you want a little tip: put the cutting in a glass of water for a week, then dip the cut end in cinnamon, and then directly into the soil - it worked wonderfully for all the cuttings. :P That's it for the diary; I wish you all lots of fun and success with your grow! A big thank you to everyone who supported me and follows the diary. Also, thanks to Dutch Passion for the sponsorship and the opportunity to participate in the cup! Be sure to check them out; I can definitely recommend the strain! (Unpaid promotion, personal recommendation :))
