Week 7, concluding the seventh week of vegetating: Hi(gh) Guys, This weekend the Moonwalkers where in need of another tie-down. After before trying to tie with wool, I came across 4mm thick plant tie. Only this has a thick soft flexible outside. This works great! Another problem solved. The idea is to fill the entire top surface of the plant pot with thick buds, so first all the branches need to reach the edge of the pot, there they need to grow up for a little bit. After that, the lower branches need to grow past the upper ones. So the grow-tips from the upper branches need to be prevented, temporarily, to grow further. Here I will use wool again to ponytail the grow-tips, because there I better not try to use plant tie. When all branches are at the same height, and they are strong enough to support themselves, and the plants stopped stretching and started flowering, then the mainline-adapters can go. What is left to do after that is to position the branches to where you want them. I found out that placing tension using Nico-rolls (yo-yo’s) on them for only 24 hours locks the branches in that position. So within a few days you can adjust the position everything to your taste. So, by the time they are into flowering all the above things supposed to be done. It looks great, they are beginning to release a really nice scent. Beautiful shaped leaves and thick side-branching, this all looks promising and I hope to turn it into another successful grow. I look forward to see you next week, ;-) Grtz, Budcrack ;-)
