KingB New run with a new system.
I built myself an ebb and flow bucket system.
I hope this will reduce the maintenance required for watering.
This will be the test run.
During the grow I will show you the new ebb & flow bucket system.
2 Days later all germinated
Unfortunately, I had to add more seeds for germination. One seed didn't shed its seed coat, and I noticed it too late.
Since the second seed has three cotyledons and the third seed is a twin (two seedlings from one seed), I added two more seeds for germination just to be on the safe side.

KingB All the seeds have germinated. They are growing well.
Three were repotted into 60% Canna Terra Professional, 40% perlite in 19L fabric pots.
The Ebb & Flow Bucket System has been prepared, but isn't in operation yet. I'll continue to water by hand for a while.

KingB They're growing well; I removed a few leaves to allow more light to reach the side shoots.
I decided to use the Ebb & Flow Bucket System only during the flowering period. Using soil as a medium, I have enough water storage that I only need to water every three days. Perhaps I'll use expanded clay as a medium next time, but then start with the system from the beginning.

KingB I abandoned the hydroponic experiment this time. I'm watering by hand as usual. It was also a stupid idea to use soil and an ebb and flow bucket system. The next run will be a proper hydroponic ebb and flow with Canna Aqua Clay Pebbles.
My grow room moved in house, and in the stress of moving, I underwatered the ladies. I hope theyโll forgive me.
They're now in the large flowering tent, and you can see the stretch.
