Seedling planted in solo cup with Pro-Mix HP and extra myco after germinating in peat pellet. Slowly raised light intensity to optimal level and sparingly watering every 2 days at a PH of 6.5
Added a liberal amount of Biobizz-Grow, GO Diamond Black, and Marphyl Marine Phytoplankton on Day 3 of week 2 as yellowing and deficiencies were starting to occur.
Growth was moving quite fast and past the edges of the solo cup so on day 7 transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pot after a bit of pruning. Using Pro-Mix HP as medium and added extra myco about every couple of inches and around the roots before transplanting.
Grew the growth tips out a bit I had chosen to start the mainline with and then topped above and pruned everything below.
Watered on day 3 with compost/nutrient tea which was brewed for 3 days and consisted of Bokashi Pro Gro compost, some blackstrap molasses, Marphyl marine phytoplankton, Biobizz grow (beet vinasse), Diamond Black (Humic Acids), and CaMg+ (Calcium/Magnesium/etc.)
Growth started picking up again at the end of the week after the top and mainline.
Upped amount of bio grow by 0.5 tsp/gal. Letting soil dry more in between waterings to try to establish a larger root system quickly.
Continuing training to maintain an even canopy and the mainline to establish 12 colas and 4 potential clones to be cut before the switch to flower.
Started bottom watering at 1/3 total volume.
Continuing LST and tying down to promote a bit more of sideways growth on side branches.
Lightly defoliating every 2 or so days to remove large leaves and give more light to growth tips.
Preparing for the switch to flower and will give one more nutrient filled compost tea at the end of week 7
Started growing mainlined branches upward and continuing light defoliation every few days. A small snap occurred when bending down stem but used a plant tie to push it upwards and it quickly recovered. Next week (week 8) will be the final week of veg and the transition to flower.
Fed compost tea on day 3, which was brewed for 3 days and contained listed nutrients along with 1/3 cup Bokashi pro-gro compost and 1 tbsp/gal of blackstrap molasses. Showed noticeably thicker and even quicker growth a day or so after. Switching to flower environment on day 1 of next week (week 9) and will remove much of the larger leaves and ones which are blocking light to bud sites then.
Moved to flowering area and started feeding Biobizz Bio-Bloom along with the continuation of CaMg+ and the Marphyl Marine Phytoplankton.
Will sporadically defoliate until the end of flowering week 3
-This Granddaddy is a hungry one so I’ve added slightly a bit more bloom this week.
-Defoliating larger leaves and leaves blocking bud sites every few days.
-Tying down the majority of the branches to keep an even canopy.
Added compost tea at the beginning of the week which was brewed for 3 days and contained all listed nutrients, 1/4 Bokashi Pro-Gro, and Blackstrap Molasses as a food source.
This Granddaddy is a huge feeder so I have been giving it a bit more bloom than usual.
Happy with the defoliation achieved but will still be removing a few leaves here and there blocking bud sites. Gave bokashi compost tea at the beginning of the week. Continuing with larger feeding regimen than normal as she is a heavy feeder
-Sucking up the water and is quite a heavy feeder. Gave it a bokashi compost tea at the beginning of the week and removed two lower bud sites that were hindering airflow and not getting any light.
-Even though GDP is an indica, the stretch on this girl is very much sativa like
Buds didn’t fatten up as much as expected but are quite dense because it had quite the stretch and seemed to be a more sativa dominant pheno. The effect when consuming is a very nice relaxing body buzz and works extremely well for me for insomnia. The flowery grape taste typical of GDP is really starting to come out the longer I cure but the buds are also wafting with a beautiful caramel aroma
A huge feeder in her entire life cycle and a quick vegger. Took well to bending and training and always sprung back quickly from a defoliation session. I was hoping nodes would have been closer and it was a more compact plant but I am very happy with how it turned out.
those look like "The Captain" from YouTube...looking very nice...I think I am going to be using the Mainline system once I get into photoperiods...so easy so effective...might try it on half my autos next grow???
@@MyrceneDream, yeah if you look up mainlining the captain...you should find the videos....OR GO TO fastbuds page they actually have his videos tagged to the GSC page at the bottom....which is what I will be growing next...I also have Tangiematic & Fastberry...from a Nevada distributor "dankseed.store" YEAH DOT STORE??? go figure...im hoping to get someone to breed a blueberry to sour D to O.G. mother...or I will get to it myself in the next couple years....ITS CALLED "KAPTAIN AMERICA".... Original Bruce Banner was Strawberry Cough to Sour D to O.G. Mother...I dont know what other people are doing but thats the shit I got the grower said thats what it was and thats my favorite ever....I want to try a blueberry version....
@@Wilson_McNugget, Thanks! I’ll have to check him out. You should definitely give it a try. I’ve had some success myself and some of the fastbuds and mephisto autos I’ve seen on here look just amazing from a bit of mainlining.
Hi man I got a granddaddy purple by Blim burn and it’s 5 weeks into flower. And just wanted to ask when it started turning purple? Was it the last week? Thanks man
@Kiewil1, Not sure about the time-frame as buds on mine didn’t actually turn purple because it wasn’t the purple phenotype. The purple-ish leaves in the pics is because of flushing I did in the last few weeks.
Nice harvest. Such a pretty plant almost sad to see her go. Awesome pictures looking forward to follow the next one from the beginning 👍 Enjoy your well earned harvest curious to know whats on the scale when cured.

hey !! when i saw the first pics i said to myself : ho ? this guy shoud have a Mezouzah on this door !!
🙏
😇
but i know somzetimes i'am a fool when i just smoked a spliff 😋 i see plenty of things 😜
that's being said….on of the best visual lst* topping tech i've even seen ! 💪
i dont like at all see this plant being tortured….😭
but I cannot prevent myself from appreciating when it's so well tortured 😘 👌 💪
Ôm nama shivay
Wicked mainlining! Do you think this method can work as well with a clone vs a seed? I want to try it...but it's definitely not for the faint of heart...mainlining takes so much precision and well...courage to even start to attempt it. Lol
Yours is looking amazing, well done so far.✌️
@Experimentgreen, Thank you! Haven’t tried it yet so I can’t give an experienced opinion but I imagine the nodes may not be as symmetrical as straight from seed if the clone is a mature cut. Taking a cut from a flowering plant (monstercropping) would be an awesome mainline experiment I think because the new growth can start in all kinds of weird directions after the revert back to veg. Could make for an interesting scrog setup too
