Susquihanna This little dancing seed took a long time to germinate compared to my other seeds. However, in all fairness, this seed was about 1 year old. I usually like to get a little bit longer tap root on my seeds but after Day 4 of being in a wet paper towel-I got scared I would drown it. So, I went ahead and planted it and put it in my grow tent for the first week. The weather here is terrible right now. It is raining a lot! Hopefully, not too much for my more mature plants outside. Hopefully this little dancing Dossidos Seedling will dance to maturity. Stay tuned and come again. Your likes and comments are appreciated!!

Susquihanna Dosidos is dancing and growing!! Because it rained sooo much last week, I had to bring her inside for a few days to protect her. This upcoming week looks like it is going to rain for about 5 days straight, so I will have to keep an eye on all of my plants. I am excited to see what this dancing little plant will grow up and become:) Royal Queen Seeds says "Do-Si-Dos Auto seeds offer just about everything most cannabis growers are looking for. Her rapid life cycle means you can achieve an impressive yield in a matter of weeks." Look forward to hearing from you, comments welcome!!

Susquihanna Unfortunately I am a few days late in my weekly post. I'm going to blame it on the rain. Just to give you an idea on how crazy this weather has been, It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours. Miss Dosido is 7 inches tall. She is growing like a weed, no pun intended. According to Royal Queen Seeds, Miss Dosido is expected to grow taller than her peers. Fun Fact, Miss Dosido is as tall as she is wide right now. I am excited for this new grow. Come watch and comment on this dance party!!

Susquihanna We had a lot of rain last week and unfortunately Do-si-dos wasn't dancing to new heights like her counterparts. This week will be full of sunshine so hopefully she will start her growing dance. I read information on the Royal Queen Seeds website concerning her growth this week and it said that DoSiDos is a plant that reaches heights of 40 inches to 55 inches for an outdoor grow. Royal Queen says it is a very "compact" plant that is easy to grow. The website also says Do-Si-Dos should be ready to harvest 9-10 weeks after sprouting. I think about the end of July or the beginning of August we should be able to harvest. Comments are welcome and dancing is allowed.

Susquihanna Dosido is dancing her way to new heights. She is 14 inches which means she grew 6 inches this week. @RoyalQueenSeeds says, "In the garden, Do-Si-Dos Auto seeds grow into slightly taller plants of around 140cm"--which is 55 inches. Time will tell but we are well on our way to reaching new heights. Miss Dosido is also dancing her way to a lot of undergrowth. Lots of growth is taking place. Flowering time is said to be between 7-8 weeks. So we are right on target. Because it has been so hot in this area, Miss Dosido is getting 1 gallon of nutrients per day. I have a pool umbrella up to protect her from the direct sunlight, but the heat is real here. Dancing is described as good for the soul so dance on Miss Dodido! Stay tuned for next week, and feel free to comment:)

Susquihanna Whew, I am a few days late in posting but I have been MIA. Glad to be back to my plants and gardening. My faithful follower @hindugod even reached out to me to see why I was late in posting my pictures. A Disney Vacation was good for me but not so much for my plants. I also left my husband and two livestock in charge of feeding and protecting my plants from the elements of nature. Miss Dosido continues to dance and grow!! She is dancing her way to 30 inches tall!! And, she had begun to flower. Take a look at the magnified flowering picture!! Our weather has been kinda crazy and hellish- as in HOT- and her leaves are getting burned on the edges even though I have a pool umbrella protecting her from the direct sun. It has been quite hot this past week, but hopefully we will get a break in the weather. Please continue to enjoy my diary and let's chat it up friends.

Susquihanna This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Dancing Dosidos. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Miss Dancing Dosidos growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. We have braved the elements of nature thus far. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Miracle Grow needs to remain for garden vegetables and flowers NOT cannibas. As a result, I have made an Executive Decision and will going add some @Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the remainder this grow. Stay tuned to next week and comments are always welcome. Thanks for visiting--susquihanna

Susquihanna Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Miss Dosido continued to dance her way through it. The Royal Queen Seeds Website said "it is one of the strongest auto flowers you can grow." The website also says that an outside grow could reach heights of 140 cm which is 55 inches. We are only at 30 inches, but I will accept part of the blame because I used Miracle Grow for its nutrient--I also blame the weather. If you have followed me and read my weather reports, you will agree that hail and 100 degree temperatures are very hard to grow in. LOL. Like I said last week, I stopped using Miracle Grow and started to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice Grow. I am hoping that these nutrients will boost her bud growth even if she is a tad on the shorter side. In addition, Royal Queen Seeds website said Miss Dosido should be ready to take down in 9-10 weeks from germination. She still has some time to perform. Please follow me and comment--Let's chat a little with each other.

Susquihanna I used my Max-see magnifier to take some close up pictures of Miss Dosidos trichomes. She is getting closer and closer to a harvest. It rained a little this week so I only fed her a couple of times. I am currently feeding her @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice. I have not had to defoliate this grow. I just didn't need to open up any space for sunlight, so I left them all in contact. All in all, it was a good week. Miss Dosidos is dancing and concentrating on her bud growth. As always, Let's chat it up! See ya next week.

Susquihanna This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Dosidos continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall with stacked buds. I am interested to see how big the buds will be. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. As always, Let’s Chat it up AND Likes and comments are appreciated

Susquihanna This is week 10 and, according to Royal Queen Seeds, this plant should be 55 inches but mine is 30 inches. I am impressed by its easy, rapid grow timeline. This may be due to the awful heat that we have had!! Excruciating. Royal Queen Seeds website said that Dosidos buds are packed and the are!! My cola is quite packed and very large. It is very sticky right now and smells very much like the website says, "crisp, sweet, skunky." I clipped a bud off of the side of the plant so I could get some goods pictures of its trichomes. I was going to take it down but the close up pictures told me I should give it another week. Our weather has cooled down quite a bit this week. It's in the 80's and should allow this plant to reach its fullest potential. And don't let me forget, I will flush with fresh water this week and I did some defoliating of my fan leaves so you could see how big Miss Dosidos cola truly is. Take a look. As always, I love your reading your comments and looking at everyone else's grows. Be Happy:)
