Irreversible Welcome to my outdoor diary. I chose Super Boof Auto from FastBuds, a brand new variety, for cultivation. The seeds finally germinated, but they were reluctant at first. We'll see how it goes from here.

Irreversible The plants have sprouted from the soil, so hopefully they will thrive. Although this is an outdoor diary, you can see a grow box in the photos. This is because I decided to complete the vegetative phase indoors, and once the plants start flowering, they will go outside. The reason for this is the unfavorable weather, which would cause the plants to flower in a stunted state.
The plants are doing very well on the seventh day. Except for SBA#2, which is stunted. I probably damaged the seed when transferring it from the kitchen towel to the substrate with tweezers. I'll give it some more time and remove it if necessary.

Irreversible The second week is behind us. The plants have grown rapidly and look happy. Except for SBA#2, because it's a lost cause and will be removed from the cycle. The weather outside is terrible, so it's a good thing they can grow undisturbed in the grow box.

Irreversible The third week is behind us. Compared to last week, the plants have grown more than twice as tall and have started to bloom. Next week, they will be moved outside because the weather is good. The nighttime temperatures could be a little higher, but there's nothing we can do about that. I'm going on vacation, so there's no choice anyway.

Irreversible The second week of flowering is behind us. The plants have grown taller again. SBA#1 is 101 cm tall, while SBA#3 is ten centimeters shorter. Interestingly, SBA#1 lagged behind during the growth phase, but ended up being the tallest. This is not surprising, as the seed of this plant germinated most readily and also had the largest sprout. The temperatures at night are quite low (11 °C), which caused the stems to turn purple. The flowers already smell nice with a refreshing fruit mix, and we'll see how they smell at harvest time and after curing, which I do for 3 months.

Irreversible The third week of flowering is behind us and the plants are back in the box, because a week of rain would definitely not do them any good. And I thought they would stay outside until the end, but the weather had other ideas. The height has stabilized, so the plants are fully focused on flowering. What a wonderful scent! If it were possible, I would use them as an air freshener in the living area of the house :) If the weather improves, the plants will go back outside, but it doesn't look very likely at the moment.

Irreversible The fourth week of flowering is behind us and the plants are still indoors. And they will probably stay there, as the weather forecast for the next week and a half predicts continuous rain. This is not how I imagined my first outdoor diary, but there is nothing I can do about it. The flowers are growing in size and the scent is slowly changing from purely fruity to fruity with a typical hint of marijuana. There is noticeable lightburn on the upper leaves, but I've never had a problem with that before—perhaps it's a slightly more sensitive variety. In any case, I estimate another week and a half of fertilization, then a week and a half of flushing, and it should be ready.

Irreversible Another week of flowering is behind us. The flowers have swollen again and the number of trichomes has multiplied, so I really like the current view. The aroma is now properly cannabis-like with a hint of fruit mix—a clear sign that we are approaching the final stage. We have one last week of fertilization ahead of us.

Irreversible The last week is behind us. Things took a turn for the better, so the predicted flowering time was shortened by a week. This week was all about flushing. The flowers are hard as rock, and those on the upper floors even have a nice purple color.
SBA was very easy to grow. No problems, just pure joy. It responded well to my fertilization plan, and there was no mold. Now we'll see how it performs when smoked. But from a cultivation standpoint, I can only recommend it!
EDIT: So, out of curiosity, I did the first tests, and I have to say that even when it's not fully cured, the cannabis is smooth to smoke, with a pleasant taste and aroma. I'll let you know how the quality changes after curing.

Irreversible Another story has come to an end. It was a wonderful journey, albeit a little different from what I had originally intended. This diary was supposed to describe outdoor cultivation, but due to extremely unfavorable weather, the plants only got outside for two weeks :( But that's how it goes, if I hadn't planted them, the weather would have been tropical :) All's well that ends well. The flowers were wet trimmed and are now drying on a net in complete darkness. I estimate it will take until Thursday, Friday at the latest, and then they will go into jars.
