First legal grow Canada

Da_Magus Planted the seeds in solo cups bottom half fox farm Ocean forest soil, top half of seedling starter soil. Made holes on the bottom of the cups for drainage and they are sitting on a warming mat under a humidity dome. This is actually my second grow, I just harvested my first plants. I learned a lot from reading a bunch of the other diaries and hope others find this useful.

Da_Magus Week 2. All seeds germinated well. Had to plant a new Critical Purple Kush, it was actually the first to sprout, but I accidentally left the humidity dome open a bit overnight and it dried out :(

Da_Magus Week 3. Everything is going well. I will be transplanting them to a bigger pot later this week and move them under the led.

Da_Magus Week 4. All have been moved into bigger pots and into the tent. Using a 800w equivalent COB LED. The critical purple kush got a little light burned with the switch but is recovering nicely. Topped the white widow and Gelato OG will top the others by the end of the week.

Da_Magus Week 5. They have recovered nicely from being topped last week. Except for the Critical Purple Kush looks like it got fimmed instead. Oh well let's see how it turns out anyway.

Da_Magus Week 6. Sorry late post. Put the scrog net in and started training it. Looks like a couple of leaves on the White Widow and critical purple kush got wind burned. I repositioned my fan to blow on the tent wall and hopefully will solve that.

Da_Magus Week 7. Filling out the net pretty quickly. I think they will be ready for flowering by next week. Started trimming the undergrowth a bit just a couple of leaves a day so I don't stress them.

Da_Magus So the Gelato OG and Jack Herrera are doing great. Starting to crowed out the white widow and critical purple Kush which seem to be struggling. I thought they had gotten wind burned but I repositioned the fan and they haven't recovered that we'll. If they don't pickup by next week I might take the Critical out and see how it does outdoors.

Da_Magus Gelato OG and Jack Herer are doing great taking up 2/3's of the canopy. The critical purple Kush and white widow seems to have recovered from the wind burn... at least the new growth looks good. I also added a second 800w led might not be needed but I had it lying around and I feel it wasn't bright enough around the edges without it.

Da_Magus Removed about %25 of the leaves. Not quite confident enough to take any more. The buds are fattening up nicely a couple of the pistils are starting to brown. Still thinking 3 to 4 more weeks before harvest.

Da_Magus Happy Canada Day! Just gave them their last feeding. Two weeks of flushing then harvest time. Trichomes look like they are starting to get cloudy.

Da_Magus Everything is looking great. One more week of flushing before harvest. I think it should be a good yield close to a lb in a 4x4 tent.

Da_Magus Harvested on Friday, trimmed on Saturday. Jack Herrer was super easy to grow and was my best yield at 368.5g wet weight. Will update after drying and curing with the dry weight and smoke report. Update: dry weight = 87.7g Quick dried a gram to sample and I am really happy with the results. Powerful uplifting sativa. I will definitely be growing this again in the future.

Da_Magus Harvested on Friday, trimmed on Saturday. Critical Purple Kush didn't work out for me this grow. My own fault it got wind burned and had a tough time recovering. Only 53g wet weight. Will update after drying and curing with the dry weight and smoke report. Update: dry weight = 15.6g

Da_Magus Harvested on Friday, trimmed on Saturday. White widow didn't turn out that well this grow. It got wind burned and had a hard time recovering, wet weight only 62.3g. Will update after drying and curing with the dry weight and smoke report. Update: dry weight 19.5g

Da_Magus Harvested on Friday, trimmed on Sunday. I have high hopes for the Gelato OG grew vigorously with some thick buds. Got 212.1g wet weight. Will update after drying and curing with the dry weight and smoke report. Update: dry weight = 73g Quick dried a gram to sample. This is some potent Indica. Great body buzz I could really feel my muscles relaxing. Happy days ahead.
