CanOli95 This is the first time I'm trying out FastBuds. I chose the strain, because I heard a lot of things a out it and when I looked at some pictures, I was really interested in growing this variety. I'm really looking forward for some terpene-rich flowers. THC does not matter that much for me, but I'm sure sure she will be packed with a lot of it. To all the other growers who take part in this contest, good look and let the grow begin :)

CanOli95 Germination week going well. Plant seems to look good so far. Nice height und healthy looking leaves. By the end of the week, the roots should have developed pretty well, so that I can transplant her in her final pot.

CanOli95 In today's week I decided to transplant this little girl. Ich mixes 25% perlite with 25% Coco premium and 50% lightmix. The lightmix helps me to decide how many nutrients I want to feed. The Coco and perlite helps with better aeration. In the next few weeks along the summer I expect the temperature to rise up to 30°C + by daylight and 18-22° C in the night. This is perfect for a high frequent watering and possible regularly nutrient uptake. I'm just making sure to ad calmag frequently , because of the Coco , even though it's only for aeration. She accepted the es medium very well and I'm looking forward to a healthy growth.

CanOli95 The made a jump in size. The weather conditions change each day. Some days it's very hot, some days it's more cold with less light. She tripped her size and shows the first pre flowering. Unfortunately she has had heat damage, but it's minor and should not effect her that much. The new leafs look very healthy and the other leafs also look good, except for the heat damage. I think she will be growing to about one meter or so, which is fine for me. I'm looking forward to some nice growth:) I do not plan to use topping or other training techniques, since it's the first time I'm using this genetic and don't want to f it up. She has a really nice spot an my south balcony, which gives her more than enough direct sunlight to bring her to its full potential, if the weather will become more consistent. If more sunlight is predictable, I will increase the silica dosage to prevent more heat damage, even though I know even that has limits. Thanks for participating in this project by viewing or commenting:)

CanOli95 This plant is producing flowers very fast. A week before you could barely see pistols, now you can see them clearly stacking in every branch. She trippeled her size in just 2 weeks. Overall she is not a thirsty plant and accepts the substrate really well. I did not use fertilizer , only some silicate, but no NPK fertilizer . But still, her leaves are in a healthy dark green colour, even though only a light-mix has been used. Maybe I will add some small amounts of P and K mono, but I don't think it's necessary. So far no purple to be seen, I hope it changed in the further bud-development.

CanOli95 The plant is evolving good so far. She increased her size and the water uptake. The weather this week was a bit mild, at approximately 22-23 celcius. The buds and sugar leaves start to grow a mild purple from the inside out and I'm looking forward to some resinous purple buds

CanOli95 Bud development is really nice. Now you can clearly see purple buds, starting to produce a layer of resin. The purple from spreads from the inside to the sugar leaves, leaving a nice colour. The smell to this point, is not that strong. But she smells like a doughy overripe fruit, very sweet, but not yet like a cherry. I'm excited to see, how it's gonna turn out in the end. She is not a thirsty plant and is not asking for a lot of nutrients. I just added a small mixture of bloom fertilizer, just to prevent deficiency symptoms. O guess she will take another 5 to 6 weeks, to become fully ripened. So far the plant is really easy to handle , just don't overfeed her and she is running on her own.

CanOli95 In this week, not a lot has changed. The lady is ripening and starts thickening it's buds. The weather has been bit colder, not a single day above 30°C. She is still packed with enough nutrients. No need to add more , since I can't see any signs of deficiency. Maybe I will add some low level K next week and some calmag, just to be sure.

CanOli95 The plant is ripening, leaves are turning yellow and harvest day is coming closer. Until now, I can not really say, that this strain is a " lemon Cherry Cookie ". Unfortunately I can not say, that I smell cherry, lemon or cookies. I have had other strains, which were definitely more on the lemon side or cherry, which I did not make a diary a out. Sometimes, she smells very sweet, a bit like over ripened fruit. A positive thing: her buds are really beautiful. The colour is really nice and she is not a hungry plant. Until now , I could not see any signs of mold, even though the weather is not that optimal. If you have space on your balcony and you like to see some purple bud, you could give this a try. If your liking for extraordinary terpenes, I would choose a different strain . I'm waiting for harvest, to look out for how much she will hit, on grams and effect.

Happy Harvest Day!

Some minor signs of bud rot let to a earlier harvest, bud the bigger buds remained undamaged. The weather was cold and humid in the nights, I can't blame the plant or breeder for this, it's just bad luck and an overall risk of outdoor growing.

CanOli95 I harvested a week earlier , because I spotted some minor bud rot in lower branches. I don't know why, bud I could not see any sign of bud rot in the bigger buds. I just found them , because I found some twisted sugar leaves, which is in most causes a bullet proof sign. The plant overall seemed to be in a pretty good condition, with minor nitrogen deficiency and some potassium/phosphorus. The last to, I should have added a small amount more, to make the buds a bit more dense, but the current state is ok. Although , it was a complete outdoor grow, pushing bud density would probably have gotten to a more a more bud rot state. This plant is really easy to grow, she almost runs for itself and does need little to no care. I chose a big pot , 25 liters , added 12 liter of light Mix and filled the rest with Coco and perlite. After that, I barely added nutrients and just waited for signs of deficiency, which barely occurred. Aroma: The aroma ist very sweet and some kind of fruity, but not generic , it is outstanding in its own kind of way. You're definitely missing lemon scents, but I think it's more of orange . There are no signs of earthy , peppery or stinky smells. Just pure sweet fruit. Unfortunately it means, I can not smell " cookies". But I thing this also happens to a lot of " cookie" strains and is often exaggerated, if claimed. I hung her up in my whine fridge , 16°C and 60% rlf for the first few days. After that, I turned rlf down to about 52%. She smells exactly like she did outdoors. Her smell does not hit you in the face. But if you smell it, it is really pleasant and calming. The smoking test be added , after I tested it for a few days. Overall in growing this variety, I rate this strain 8/10. I would would give this strain more stars, if I could really smell cherry and cookies. Unfortunately, the cherry smell combines more with the overall fruity smell, which makes it hard to isolate it. I can definitely recommend this strain to beginners, if they seek a user friendly hybrid with a guaranteed nice (bag)-appeal and reliable sweet, but not kushy aroma. A pro grower will definitely hit bigger scales, if grown indoors and preferably in Coco / hydro. I hope you enjoyed my conclusion and take it consideration, when you plan to buy some beans. Happy grow to all of you 🤝🌱

Nice internodal spacing at this stage. Strong and beautiful color. What kind of pot is that? Forgive my ignorance, but I'm quite intrigued by these. Very handy.

@ThomFoolery, hey, thanks for your comment 👌 These pots are called " airport". I bought them some years ago. I don't think they are necessary, but practical. Bit if you think about growing in Coco with a drip irrigation system, they might be worth a look,.if you plan to grow bigger plants. Personally , I just use them for seedlings and young plants. :)
