Danylo Germination: 18h soak in 1% H2O2/distilled water¹ - then directly in low nutrient substrate mix. [Edit]: Added an excerpt-screenshot of the paper "Development and Standardization of Rapid and Efficient Seed Germination Protocol for Cannabis sativa" that shows why I am doing this. The older the seeds, the more germination% benefits from this method. Typically it is only necessary for older seeds. But as the costs are negligible and you never _really_ know how old seeds are and how they were stored it has become my standard method for germination. My anectdotal evidence on this leads me to believe that even for very healthy seeds it speeds up the process. Seed needed a day longer than the others and was a little more pale/yellow than usual but recovered very quickly. Was already transferred to a 1L pot at the end of the first week. ¹)Sorokin A, Yadav NS, Gaudet D, Kovalchuk I. Development and Standardization of Rapid and Efficient Seed Germination Protocol for Cannabis sativa. Bio Protoc. 2021 Jan 5;11(1):e3875. doi: 10.21769/BioProtoc.3875. Danylo Note: This is a 12/12 from seed grow. She grew vigorously, but mostly in 2D! Almost no vertical growth. This very low internodal spacing was most likely because of the high-ish light intensity for this stage (~500-550 µE PPFD) At the end of this week she was already transplanted to her final home, an 8L AirPot.

Danylo Strong horizontal growth continues. Big, juicy leafs start growing over the edge of her neighbours pots - it hurts, but those leafs will have to be taken off soon because of very limited space per plant.

Danylo Finally some vertical growth happening. Initial fanleafs had to be taken off because of space - some others to allow light to reach lower branches.

Danylo She reached sexual maturity and starts to flower at the beginning of this week. The lowest branches pushed out some baby balls - which I simply plucked. Will have to watch it closely for a week or two but usually when this happens, the upper flowersites are fully female. Some further Defoliation too this week.

Danylo Finally some real stretch happening.. She is now visibly in flower. Nutrients in the substrate should be partly depleted so this week we start fertilizing with an EC of about 1. No further balls found this week looks like we could be good!

Danylo This week, too, there were no male flowers to be found. No further de-ball-iation needed. The flowering stretch gave us some nice internodal spacing to work with. Flower has advanced to the stage where I do one final defoliation. Stretch seemed to be mostly over, so I also started adding Pink Miracle Juice! (Yellow sticky stuff because I spotted a fungus gnat)

Danylo Sorry for skipping week 8, but for some reason (lazyness) I did not take any pictures that week. A lot has happened in that week though.. and this week too! She packed on considerable mass and started to get real frosty. Smell is an absolutely fantastic spicy lemon!

Danylo She is getting lots of light (~1000 µE PPFD) lots of air, and NPK+Cal+Mg at EC 1.8 Kind of shocking how that spindly little thing has transformed itself in just a few weeks time!

Danylo Nothing unexpected happened this week. As this is my first "12/12 from seed" grow, I started checking the trichomes because I had no experience regarding flowering progression under these circumstances as well as harvest timing.

Danylo Some purple accents started developing! LOTS of trichome production too. Though a little on the thinner side - her stems are absolute champs carrying all that weight!

My first "12/12 from Seed" grow. Also my first plant from Sweet Seeds - and I am honestly kind of blown away! She grew on an area only about 23x23cm (~0.7 ft) with a total height (with pot) of about 65-70cm.. and for that she produced a very nice amount of fantastic tasting, frosty nugs. Bouquet to me (vaped) is spicy, slightly woody lemon with juuuust a little sweetness to round it off. I can not seem to get any real tolerance going so I have to be careful with the amount because she is STRONG. I'm running this one in the future again for sure! Thanks for your interest and time! Dan

I like the technique with the low-nutrient mix. Sounds like the plant is off to a good start despite the slight delay
