Sweet Cherry Kush - Sensi Seeds

KritischeMasse I started with small 0.7L pots. The soil is Plagron Royal MIX, and the plants have developed very poorly. The soil probably had too many nutrients, and I watered too much. I likely triggered a nutrient blockage because of that. So today, after a week, I repotted into a 2L pot in the hope that fresh soil will suit them better and they'll start to grow better slowly.

KritischeMasse My plants are doing much better. They are growing strong upwards, but the side shoots are still not fully developed. So far, I've only watered them. Plagron states that the soil is pre-fertilized for about 4-6 weeks. I think I'll top the plants by the end of next week. I haven't bought any fertilizer yet; I'm still not sure which one I'll use this time.

KritischeMasse I started fertilizing, got the cheapest one in the store for €3.49. It has an NPK of 8-3-4, is mineral-based, and I wasn't in the mood for anything organic this time. I'm watering 2.5ml per 1l. I've fertilized the plants twice and they took it well. They're a strong green. I topped two plants in the middle of the week. I didn't need to top the third plant; it must be a mutant, as it developed two main stems on its own. I plan to transplant next week into a 9.5l pot. I'll probably let them grow for at least another two weeks before switching to flowering.

KritischeMasse Had to move my ladies outside, currently I need my indoor tent for drying. I had 3 autos in the garden that are now ready. I think in about 7 days I can put them back in the tent. I transplanted from 2L to 9L, those are the final pots. The soil this time is Canna Professional+. I mixed in a bit of chicken manure with the values 4-3-2 2%MG. Due to the slightly longer veg, I’ll probably have to top them again.

KritischeMasse After 10 days on the terrace, I brought the ladies inside the tent. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great. Little sun, a lot of rain, and temperatures around 20 degrees only. I actually wanted to start the flowering phase earlier, but I'm pushing it back another week. To limit the height growth a bit, I topped them again. My Sanlight EVO 4 1.5 is running at 60%, which would be 160w.

KritischeMasse I switched to flowering last week, I'm just afraid they're going to blow up my tent. The stretch is enormous, they're really powering up. The height of the plants is about 50cm and they've become extremely bushy. The Sanlight EVO 4 is running at 85% = 213w I'm having some issues with the humidity, which is at 80%.

KritischeMasse The ladies are stretching nicely, 33cm in 7 days. I also need to water about 3-4 liters per plant every three days. I'm keeping my Sanlight EVO running at 85% until the end. I'm maintaining a distance of 35cm. I've already defoliated a bit at the bottom, and the humidity has improved somewhat. I'm now between 65-70%, which is okay for now. Fungus gnats have spread. I've put out yellow sticky traps for now and will keep an eye on it a bit longer.

KritischeMasse The three ladies have quite different stretches. Luckily, it has flattened out significantly now. Despite being a good Indica cross, one seems to have a high Sativa content coming through. The heights of the ladies: 109cm 93cm 74cm The smallest plant has already started producing a lot of resin. The others are still holding back. I keep my Sanlight EVO 4 at 85% ~213w. I’m fertilizing carefully with a 3-5-7 nutrient solution. The ladies are drinking a lot of water. I water every 3 days with at least 3 liters until there’s minimal drain.

KritischeMasse All three ladies are growing differently, the genetics don't seem stable. The middle one shot up to almost 130cm, even though I've topped it twice. The flower development is a bit slow, the right plant shows slight signs of over-fertilization. I'll just give water for now and skip the nutrients. They're also drinking a lot, at least 3 liters go into the pot every three days. I'll probably let them flower for 9 weeks until I can harvest them. I also have a Sweet Cherry Kush in the garden, I want to find out if it can finish outdoors in Germany.

KritischeMasse The weather is currently improving and the humidity is going down. I'm only watering with water now, the leaves are still very dark green from the nutrients. Not much is happening, still watering 3-4 liters every 3-4 days. There's hardly any smell to note. I'm not really convinced by this strain in terms of growing. Feels like white label mystery bag genetics.

KritischeMasse I'm only watering with water now. The good thing is that it's generally getting cooler in Germany due to the weather. The humidity is only around 60%. The plants on the left and right are slowly getting brown pistils. The plant in the mother pot is getting fatter and fatter... bigger in circumference than a deodorant can.

KritischeMasse Unfortunately, I got bud rot. It was too difficult to keep the humidity low in the last few weeks. I had to harvest the first plant today to avoid a total loss. Next week, I will finish the grow. Even if they don't finish. I watered them again today and will let them dry out now.

KritischeMasse Luckily it's over, I harvested when I discovered bud rot again. After drying, I'll only keep the A buds, the rest is going in the bin.

KritischeMasse 8 days dried. I only kept and trimmed the absolute "A" buds. In total, 117g, the rest I just threw away. Can't say exactly how much it was in total. Overall, I'm a bit disappointed with the strain.
