Growtendo64 June 13th – Dropped a Mimosa Auto seed from Royal Queen Seeds straight into her final fabric pot (11.6L) filled with BioBizz Light Mix. The top layer was lightly moistened with 250 ml water (pH 6.4, temp 22 °C). Tent setup is 50x50 cm with a Spider Farmer SF-1000D LED. Light cycle is 18/6. Let’s see how this glowing girl performs! On June 16th, Mini McNug broke through the soil and reached for the light, healthy and strong.

Growtendo64 This week she’s really started to show some steady growth. Leaves are broadening out nicely, color is vibrant and healthy, and root development seems to be on track based on water uptake. I increased the water volume gradually from 300 ml early in the week up to 800 ml by Day 14, and introduced a full feeding mix for the first time. She’s now getting BioGrow regularly, along with Acti·Vera, Bio·Heaven, and Root·Juice. I also added a light CalMag dose since our tap water is on the soft side. PH kept steady around 6.4. Temps have been high (up to 27°C on some days), but she’s handling it well under 100W LED at about 280–350 PPFD. Overall, a solid transition week. Hoping for signs of preflower soon, maybe next week!

Growtendo64 Since the past couple of weeks were all about caring for the plant and responding to specific challenges, I’m combining everything into one entry rather than posting daily updates. It felt more important to focus on Mini McNug’s actual needs than on maintaining the diary in real-time. On July 2nd, light levels were dialed in nicely with a PPFD around 350 and DLI of 22 great conditions for the final stretch of pre-flowering. By July 3rd, the first white pistils appeared, marking the beginning of flowering. That same day, however, I had a bit of an accident: while attaching a clip during light LST, I accidentally snapped the main stem just above the 2nd node, about 50% through. I reacted quickly, wrapped the break with electrical tape and added support with ground anchors. Thankfully, Mini bounced back with no wilting or signs of shock. On July 5th, I gave a recovery-focused feeding (Grow, Bloom, Heaven, Acti·Vera, CalMag), which she handled beautifully. Two days later, on July 7th, I went in for another LST session. This time more carefully and leveled out the canopy nicely. One small side branch did break off in the process, but again, no negative effects were visible. The following feedings on July 9th, 11th, and 13th were progressively increased from 1400 ml to 1800 ml. Mini is drinking well and thriving. Since July 11th, I’ve added Top·Max to the regular BioBizz Light Mix feeding schedule for autoflowers. She’s now running on the full Week 2–3 bloom feeding plan. I’m still keeping a bit of Bio·Grow in the mix, as I’m working with Light Mix soil. Overall, Mini McNug is thriving she’s resilient, full of life, and has handled stress like a champ. I’m confident that the next two weeks will bring an impressive flower build-up if she keeps this pace.

Growtendo64 During the past week, Mini McNug has continued to show healthy growth and stable nutrient uptake. She received multiple waterings at 2.6 liters with a well-balanced BioBizz feeding mix tailored to mid-flowering, including CalMag, Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Bio Heaven, Acti Vera, and Top Max. The pH remained consistent at around 6.4. The plant responded very well to the feedings and showed no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies. Visually, she looks vibrant and structurally strong, with well-formed bud sites across all main and secondary branches. The canopy is evenly spread, and the training from previous weeks has resulted in excellent light distribution. Bud development is progressing steadily, with healthy white pistils covering the top sites. The previously injured main stem remains stable and is not hindering growth or productivity. Overall, Mini McNug is thriving in this phase of her cycle, and the environment appears to be well-managed. Flower week 5 is coming to a close with strong structure and promising bud formation.

Happy Harvest Day!

Sadly, the journey with Mini McNug has come to an early end. After a period of heavy rain, the humidity stayed high for over a week, and despite good airflow, I noticed suspicious drying on a leaf. Upon closer inspection, two main colas showed early signs of bud rot. I immediately removed the plant, disposed of it with the soil, and fully cleaned the tent, fans, and equipment with isopropyl alcohol. I went through a lot with this plant and learned even more along the way and one thing is certain: I will never sow another plant on Friday the 13th. For the next grow, I’ll focus on controlling RH more aggressively, especially in late flower, to avoid a repeat of this situation.

Thanks @James! 🙌 Big thanks for the support. I’ll definitely keep the updates rolling! 🌱 Quick question: have you grown this strain before? Wondering how she handles stress, any experience with training or defoliation?

Sad but i Hope you got some Bud to test the Teps. More Airflow is key but a Dehumidifier let me sleep well during summer. I recomend to use bleach for desinfektion. works much better against spores mate. #Keep on growing
