<span class="link_user">@Philhsy</span>, Autoflowers I always plant directly into the final pot with soil to avoid unnecessary stress. Photoperiod seeds are first soaked 12–24 hours in a glass of water (kept dark), then placed in a moist paper towel until the taproot shows. Once it’s about 1 cm long, the seed goes into the soil and is left to do what seedlings do. Sure, with good breeders most seeds should germinate and that has been the case for me so far. But if 5 out of 6 don’t make it, that does make me a bit suspicious. In the end though, that one plant turned into a small, tasty monster :seedling::smile:
