connormcleod47 ***UPDATE 06/23/25*** Started the germination process, all 4 should hopefully pop in the next 2 to 5 days, paper towel & ceramic plates with some bottled water! Put a toothpick to the side of the plate so I don't lose track of which order they are in ! Strains are: Destroyer F3 (Tuna Kush x UBC Chemo) - Butterbean Birdseed Acid Snow ((Frosted Cherry’Os S3 x Granite Haze) x Cherry’Os S4) - Speedrun Seeds Poisoned Sunset (Poisoned Skywalker x Nightsaber) - Crossbone Genetics GMO 8 (GMO 8 x GMO 8) Atlas Seed Co 1st time trying living soil! Will be using Black Swallow KIS Premium Living Soil, also have some blackstrap molasses, Great White myco, Fish Sh!t & Cronks new organic line is pre ordered + set to ship before the month is out! Their Monkey Juice & Armadillo Armor are organic as well & will try & run them alongside the newer organic line! Grabbed some self watering bases for the living soil as well to ensure everything is ran optimally! Will be 5 gal fabric pots from seed ***UPDATE 06/25/25*** All 4 seeds have germinated successfully! Gonna wait until tomorrow morning to sink the Acid Snow & GMO 8 in the dirt, tap roots still need a bit more time to grow! - Vacuumed & cleaned the 2x4 - Cleaned clip fans + all equipment - Printed & laminated labels for each strain - Filled pots with Black Swallow LSO - Sprinkled in 1 tablespoon of Great White Myco per pot & mixed it around the center roughly 2" deep - Gave the Destroyer F3 & Poisoned Sunset 250ml of bottled water each to water them in Think I will continue to run with un PH'd bottled water up until the end of the month prior to switching over to RO, want to try & keep this run 100% organic & will need to wait for Cronks new line in order to use organic calmag! Self watering trays are not in the tent yet, had read it's best to wait until roots can reach the bottom 3rd of the pot, will be a tight squeeze but I should be able to get them in there if I take the humidifier out, will not need the humidifier by the time the plants are ready so this should work perfectly :P So far so good! ***UPDATE 06/26/25*** Got the Acid Snow & GMO 8 in the dirt this afternoon! Same technique as the first two! 1 tablespoon of Great White Myco each, mixed that around in a circle roughly 2" deep & watered them in with 250ml of bottled water each Adjusted light to where the seedlings will be receiving roughly 300 uMOL once they are above ground Decided to lightly mist the surface area of all pots so the tops don't dry out completely during the earlier stages of growth, this also stops loose dirt from flying around the tent, will grab some cover crop or straw/mulch for the tops of the pots on the 30th, if I decided to go cover crop instead of hay/mulch will be equal parts Buckwheat, Alfalfa, Clover, Lentil & Fenugreek, may do both! Have a clip fan on 5/10 to keep the ballast cool but nothing is going on underneath yet, humidifier is also off for the time being Will start Week 1 Day 1 Veg once all 4 plants are above soil! Cheers Guys! ***UPDATE 06/28/25*** The Destroyer F3 & Poisoned Sunset are now above soil! Just waiting on the Acid Snow & GMO 8 ***UPDATE 06/29/25*** All 4 plants are now above soil! Temps are a bit low but RH has been good, will order some cover crop + hay/mulch for water retention tomorrow afternoon! Week 1 Day 1 Veg tomorrow!
