DogDoctorOfficial Germination Report – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds)
Start of a New Series – Join the Journey
Welcome back to the grow log! We’re starting a new window, a new chapter, and a new series that will take a deep dive into the full life cycle of multiple genetics. This will be a detailed, educational, and transparent series where we’ll explore not just the plants, but the methods, products, and thought process behind every decision. Stay tuned — and if you want to follow it closely, subscribe to the YouTube channel. Updates will be coming regularly.
⸻
Genetics:
Strain: Roller Coster Haze
Breeder: Zamnesia Seeds
Number of seeds germinated: 3
Medium (initial): Water in pillbox
Target selection: Best 2 of 3
⸻
Method:
We used a simple yet effective method for this germination. A clean weekly pillbox (one of those with 7 compartments) was filled with water. Each compartment was labeled with the strain name – in this case, Roller Coster Haze – to keep track of genetics from the beginning.
⸻
Germination Details:
• All 3 seeds showed signs of life within 48 hours.
• As soon as they started cracking, they were moved directly into soil.
• Within 24 hours of being planted in soil, the sprouts emerged above the surface.
• A smooth, healthy start with no major issues or delays.
⸻
Nutrient Support (Water Prep):
To give the seeds a gentle boost right from the start, we added a light mix of two products from Aptus Holland:
• Regulator: A stress reducer and growth enhancer that supports stronger cellular development from the earliest stages. It helps improve nutrient uptake and strengthens the plant structure.
• Start Booster: A root stimulator that promotes faster root development and microbial life in the soil, ideal for getting seedlings off to a strong, healthy start.
This combination was added in very low concentrations to the water used in the pillbox method, creating a lightly enriched environment that supports early vigor without overwhelming the seed.
⸻
Next Steps:
Now that all three seedlings are up and thriving, we’ll soon evaluate which two will be selected to continue in this run. The rest of the series will cover each phase in detail — from vegetative growth to flower, training methods, feeding schedules, environmental conditions, and more.
This new project is more than a grow diary — it’s a series dedicated to education, experimentation, and open sharing. The community is invited to watch, learn, and grow along. Full transparency, every step of the way.
Let’s grow together,

DogDoctorOfficial Week 1 – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds)
The Beginning of the Ride
Welcome to Week 1 of life for the Roller Coster Haze girls, and what a delicate beginning it’s been. They’ve emerged gently from the soil, shy and subtle, but already carrying the unique energy of this run. There’s a sense that this one’s going to live up to its name, a true roller coaster of a grow, and we’re here for every twist and turn.
Seedling Stage – Observations & First Impressions
While they may be small and reserved for now, there’s no mistaking their beauty. Their form is delicate, their green vibrant. Each seedling is establishing itself quietly, and we’re honoring this time by observing, listening, and giving them space to unfold at their own pace.
This is such a critical week in a plant’s life, it sets the tone for everything to come. And so, we focus not on fast growth, but on strong foundations.
This week we’ve been using the bottom-watering method, placing water in the tray beneath the pots and allowing the soil to absorb moisture upward through capillary action.
Why do we use this method?
Bottom watering encourages the roots to grow downward in search of moisture, helping to establish a strong and healthy root system early on. By keeping the top layer of the soil relatively dry, we also reduce the risk of damping off and other early-stage pathogens. It’s a gentle, effective way to support healthy root architecture and early vigor.
We’re keeping moisture levels light at this stage, just enough to hydrate and support, but never to overwhelm.
The plan is to veg these girls for around three to four weeks in total. That said, we’re not rushing anything , timing will ultimately be guided by the plants themselves.
Transplanting is tentatively scheduled for Week 2 or Week 3, depending on how they evolve.
Once they’re well established in their new containers and showing strong signs of readiness, we’ll prepare to flip to flower around the Week 4 mark.
Flexibility is key. We’re letting them tell us when they’re ready.
Final Notes – A Quiet Start, A Promising Journey
Week 1 may seem uneventful to some, but in truth, it’s one of the most important moments in the plant’s life. This is when identity forms, when roots find their direction, and when the journey begins. These shy little plants might just surprise us yet, and we’re here for it.
Let’s see where this roller coaster takes us.
Let’s grow together,

DogDoctorOfficial Week 2 – Veg Phase Begins – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds)
Transplant Time – Into the Big Leagues
Week 2 marks a pivotal transition for our beautiful Roller Coster Haze girls. After a strong, shy start in Week 1, they’re showing all the signs of vitality, deep green color, solid structure, and confident growth. And with that, it’s time to transplant them into their final homes: 11-liter fabric pots from Zamnesia.
⸻
Transplant Day – Super Soil Mix + Aptus Amendments
To give these girls the best foundation possible, we prepared a custom transplant mix designed to provide both immediate support and long-term nutritional stability.
Transplant Mix:
• Super soil base – full of organic matter and balanced nutrition
• Aptus Mycor-Mix – to inoculate roots with mycorrhizae, promoting symbiotic relationships for nutrient uptake
• Aptus Micro-Mix – introducing beneficial bacteria and enhancing root zone biodiversity
• Aptus Substrate Buffer Powder – to stabilize pH and ensure optimal nutrient interactions
Everything was mixed thoroughly and evenly to ensure consistency throughout the pot. Once prepared, each girl was gently placed into her new container, and the soil was lightly compressed around the root zone for stability.
⸻
First Watering Post-Transplant – Gentle & Precise
After transplanting, we gave them their first feeding using a carefully tailored mix of Aptus nutrients:
• Regulator – 0.25 ml/L
• CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L
• All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L
• Start Booster – 0.2 ml/L
Watering Stats:
• EC: 1.01
• pH: 5.83
• Water Temp: 18.5°C
We aim for precision and balance. Nothing too heavy, just enough to ease the transplant shock and give the roots something to latch onto.
⸻
Environmental Conditions – Comfortable & Controlled
The room is dialed in and cozy for early veg:
• Temperature: 27°C
• Relative Humidity: 57.4%
• CO₂ Levels: 632 ppm
Right now, the girls are still thriving under fog (humidification), but big changes are on the horizon. We’re bringing in the Model One LEDs from ThinkGrow, expanding our light coverage as we share this 8x8 space with more beautiful genetics. These two may be part of a larger group, but they’ve got all the light, love, and space they need to shine.
⸻
Final Thoughts – Thriving & Expanding
Week 2 is all about movement, movement into bigger pots, richer soil, deeper roots, and more light. These girls have taken every step with grace so far, and we’re confident they’ll keep rising strong.
Stay tuned, we’ll be watching their post-transplant response carefully and preparing for the next chapter. The veg phase is just getting started, and so are they.
Let’s grow together,

DogDoctorOfficial Week 3 VEG – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds)
Expanding the Canopy, Building the Ecosystem
Week 3 VEG has arrived, and our Roller Coster Haze girls are thriving. They’re growing with intensity, branching fast, stretching out beautifully, and responding with vibrant color and leaf development. This week, we stepped outside the tent for a special photo session to capture their structure, symmetry, and power. Both phenos are showing great promise.
But this update isn’t just about how the plants are growing — it’s about how we’re growing them. This week we shine the light on the ecosystem behind the leaves — the environment, the gear, and the design that make it all possible.
⸻
Light Systems – Future of Grow & ThinkGrow
We are currently growing under two powerful LED systems in a shared 8x8 room:
• Future of Grow: Highly efficient, full-spectrum lighting technology providing excellent canopy penetration.
• ThinkGrow Model One LEDs: Tuned for precision horticulture, great thermal management, and superior spread, recently integrated into the setup.
Both light systems are now active, operating in two separate environmental zones within the same space, but synchronized and managed through one master control hub.
⸻
Environmental Intelligence – TrolMaster Ecosystem
All environmental conditions are being automated and fine-tuned using the TrolMaster Tent-X Control System, including:
• CO₂ Sensors – Monitoring levels and ensuring optimal enrichment.
• Temperature & Humidity Sensors – Providing real-time data for environmental balance.
• PPFD Sensor – Ensuring precise light intensity distribution across both zones.
• Device Integration – Exhaust fans, intake fans, humidification and lighting systems all run through this single ecosystem.
The system gives us a responsive, dynamic grow space that adjusts in real time to keep conditions perfect.
⸻
Airflow & Filtration – Keeping It Clean and Controlled
Air exchange is critical, and we’ve built a dual-exhaust, filtered system to keep the space fresh and odor-free:
• Exhaust System:
• Two 6-inch carbon-filtered exhaust lines.
• Spider Farmer extraction fan (controlled via Spider Farmer GGS controller).
• AeroFan (connected to TrolMaster Tent-X controller).
• Intake System:
• One 6-inch filtered intake, bringing in fresh, conditioned air.
This ensures both negative pressure and proper circulation at all times. Clean air in, filtered air out, silently and efficiently.
⸻
Feeding Schedule – Aptus Micro-Nutrition, Targeted & Precise
This week, we maintained a light but effective nutrient profile using Aptus Holland products, aimed at promoting root structure, nutrient uptake, and resistance:
• Regulator – 0.25 ml/L – cellular strength and stress reduction.
• CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L – structural support and calcium-magnesium balance.
• All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L – balanced NPK and trace minerals.
• Start Booster – 0.2 ml/L – supporting root expansion and microbial activity.
This blend is helping the girls keep pace with their rapid vegetative expansion without overwhelming them. We’re not pushing for speed, we’re feeding for structure.
⸻
Looking Ahead
We’ll be making our final decisions next week, based on structure, root readiness, and overall health. From there, final stretch of veg before flower. We’re not rushing — we’re watching. Letting them show us who they are.
⸻
Final Notes – Summer in the Grow Room
It’s summer, and just like the world outside, the room is alive. Life is bursting in every direction — the plants, the microbes, the air systems, the sensors. Everything is connected and working in rhythm. It’s beautiful to witness.
This week was not about interventions — it was about observation, appreciation, and refinement. The grow is expanding. The system is expanding. And the girls? They’re reaching for the light, fast and full of promise.

DogDoctorOfficial Week 1 Flower – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds)
Lights Flipped, Ride Ascending
The ride has shifted — welcome to Week 1 of Flower for the Roller Coster Haze girls. We’ve officially flipped the lights to 11 hours on / 13 hours off, marking the start of their journey into bloom. While they’re not showing any floral signs just yet (no pistils or preflowers), this moment is crucial, it’s the beginning of the shift, and everything that follows builds from here.
⸻
Why 11/13 Light Cycle?
Most growers run 12/12 — and while that’s great for many strains, we’ve chosen 11/13 for a specific reason:
🌒 Shortening the light period can help trigger earlier flowering and more aggressive hormonal shifts, particularly in sativa-dominant or haze genetics like these.
🌘 In nature, light hours gradually decrease, and this slightly shorter photoperiod mimics late-season sun, signaling to the plant that it’s time to reproduce.
In our experience, this encourages a quicker transition into flower, sometimes with denser stacking and better resin development down the line. The trade-off? Slightly less daily photosynthesis, but with the right lighting power and nutrition, it more than balances out.
⸻
Nutrient Shift – From Start to Top
As we flip into flower, we’ve also transitioned our nutrient formula to support the shift in energy:
• Removed:
• Aptus Start Booster – previously used to support early-stage root development and vegetative vigor.
• Introduced:
• Aptus Top Booster – same application rate (0.25 ml/L), but designed to stimulate early flower development, improve transition timing, and lay the groundwork for bloom stacking.
Why this change?
Because the hormonal shift has begun. We’re no longer supporting root initiation, now we’re priming the plant for floral identity, helping her internal systems prepare for the stretch, calyx development, and bloom site stacking.
Our base feed remains:
• Regulator – 0.25 ml/L
• CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L
• All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L
• Top Booster – 0.25 ml/L
⸻
Growth & Structure Update
These girls are branching like mad, spreading their wings and showing incredible vegetative structure just before stretch kicks in. Both phenotypes are looking stunning:
• Pheno #2 & Pheno #3
• ~55 cm in height
• Both with 8+ nodes, symmetrical branching, and healthy internode spacing.
• Deep green leaves, upright posture, and zero signs of stress or deficiency.
We’re expecting these girls to stretch considerably in the coming weeks, and we’re ready for the ride.
⸻
Environmental Snapshot – The Summer Stretch Begins
Despite high temps, the girls are thriving. Here’s a readout of current conditions:
• PPFD: 760 µmol/m²/s – measured via TrolMaster MBS PAR sensor, ensuring accurate canopy-level intensity.
• Temperature: 31°C
• Humidity: 50%
• VPD: 2.23 kPa – yes, on the high side, but manageable for the moment.
• CO₂: 632 ppm
We’re aware that VPD is a touch aggressive, and we’re standing by for the arrival of the new AC unit to bring that back into optimal range. Still, the girls are handling it like champions, no curl, no droop, just upward movement and new growth.
⸻
Lights & Control Ecosystem
Our lighting and environmental control setup continues to perform beautifully:
• ThinkGrow Model One LEDs
• Future of Grow LEDs
• TrolMaster Tent-X Controller – managing:
• CO₂
• Temp & Humidity
• PPFD
• Device sync
• Spider Farmer GGS Controller for extraction fans
• Dual 6” exhaust systems with carbon filters
• One 6” filtered intake
• All airflow dynamically managed via AeroFan + Spider Farmer extraction, allowing clean in/out cycles, keeping the air fresh and responsive.
This is a precision ecosystem, designed to respond, not just run.
⸻
Final Thoughts – Lifting Off
This may be Week 1 Flower, but it’s really the moment of lift-off. The girls are still pre-flower, yes but this is the space where momentum builds, energy collects, and the transformation begins. We’re shifting from vegetative growth into reproductive focus — and if this week’s energy is any sign, we’re in for a glorious bloom phase.
The Roller Coster Haze journey continues , and it’s gaining speed.
Let’s grow together,
