Overall a pretty big first-week with slight consistency issues concerning relative humidity and ambient temperature. Fortunately, we were able to sort these issues out by the end of week one.

After our initial week with small issues keeping temperature and humidity consistent; we added a fan, hung our carbon filter and fixed the ducting to lower ambient temperature. We have also polyed off the entire closet to better control the environment. Our humidity and temperature have become dialed! Plants are both growing well and stretching nicely. Noticing on plant number one that it is now growing new fan leaves below where they had skipped previously. We did top it earlier in the week. Number two is growing strong, still has some browning from the heat with lack of humidity in the first week but still growing strong! Number three was started later by a few days, that is why it is smaller. We realize this may be a problem running down the line but we will address it as it comes!

Week four of our growth is going amazing! After installing poly and the intake fans, adding another humidifer we are smooth sailing. #1 has decided to regrow and shoot some bright new fan leaves. Seems to be pushing through the first weeks stress, it's very resilient. #2 was topped and growth is recovering from heat stress but showing significant improvement and growing new fan leaves very quickly. #3 is curving in the stem but doing well. No signs of stress, we have pun it so the fan breeze will be pushing it the other way! Until next week with the Chocolate Mint OG! :)

This week we went from a 6.5 to a 6.7 percent in pH after doing some research. It seems to have helped them grow so much more! They green and healthy today. #1 is growing very strong, has lots of new nodes opening and new fan leaf growth. It is stubborn and grows on its own agenda, but with patience she seems to be thriving. #2 is growing so strongly, zero issues and is growing so tall with a thick stem. It is splitting off perfectly and creating a nice Y pattern. #3 was weak in the knees and bending to the side. We added a support for her and she was waving in the wind. After the dark cycle she seems to be more firm, we could probably take the support off but we are going to leave it on until the dark cycle tomorrow possibly.

After changing the pH we have seen way better results. Super stoked that this was figured out in the beginning. On plant #1 we are noticing a lot more growth, leaves are opening and filling out nicely. Plant #2 has been going through the low stress testing the past four days. It seems to be taking really well to it. Growing a lot more fan leaves out and they all have a nice shape and colour. Plant #3 is super long and stretchy. She has fallen over a few times now and doesn't seem to want to stand up on it's own. We have put some aids up. We will see how she progresses next week

Hey everyone, do you have any advice on what to do with plant #3 (our stretchy one)? She is very weak in her stem!

Put it outside to get some wind or move some little fan blowing on to it. Silica could help some. Also staking that lanky plant might be good idea.

They are looking great!! Adding silica could help, but I like to train my stems by constantly getting my hands in there and bending them down. Keep twisting the tops and dont break the outside stem, but the fibers on the inside and it helps build that cell wall!💪💪

You can use a thin bamboo stake/ wooden dowel to temporary help support the main stem by loosely tying it in a couple of places in a figure "8" pattern until it strengthens up. She also may be reaching for more light. Also excess nitrogen can cause too much stretching between inter nodes Adding silica to your nutrient regime will help build stronger sturdier stems.

This week was spent making sure that Plant 3 recovered from some stretching issues. After supporting the plant until midweek, he became strong enough to support himself and stem growth has since improved. All three Chocolate Mint OG's saw a lot more growth in fan leaves and overall canopy coverage, can't wait to see what the next week brings! Maintainance wise, this week was relatively mellow with us only really entering the tent to change our water, refill humidifiers and clean the poly around the plants! NOTE: We uploaded on Friday opposed to our Sunday schedule this week as it is mothers day on Sunday! Gotta show your ma some love!

This past week and a few days have been rather hard on our ladies. Overall, we had a lot of growth but we also had some snapping and transplanting required. #1 responding well to LST & Topping no complaint about this one :) #2 stems split down the middle a little bit during an LST. We decided to tape it up and let it heal for several days. It responded well and we now have the tape off. There is some wilting around the area but we will see how this goes moving forward. #3 was transplanted into a larger pot after the pictures were taken. It has been holding up well. You will also notice in the pictures that it suffered a snap on its main stem during the LST. We are newer at this so it is taking some experimenting. Seems to be recovering well! Can't wait to report back next week what they look like!

#1 - This lady is growing strong, responding well to LST. Showing a slight amount of stress due to a decrease in humidity. The air here gets really dry and the intake fan comes from outside. #2 - Overall the most healthy plant, but we are seeing some yellowing and holes in one leaf. We don't really know where it is coming from, we have inspected for mites and other pests and no evidence. Could be stress from heat but we will see after we reammend the soil. #3 - She is catching up, not nearly as bushy as our other plants. We have high hopes after the recovery from the snap a few weeks ago. Overall, everything is going so well! We are pretty stoked on this week and how bushy they've grown.

For some reason I cannot add a description to label the plant photos: First three photos - Plant 1 is 14 inches. Seems to be rather resilient. We had a major watering scare where the plants looked really wilted but they seem to have bounced back really well. Photos 4-6 - Plant 2 is 16 inches tall (LST tied down though) Again, doing well after the watering scare. Cannot be more happy with how quickly they picked themselves up! Photos 7-9 - Plant 3 is also 16 inches tall and holding up really well. As you can tell they did suffer some discoloring and stress from the recent water scare and change in routine in our personal lives. We may also flip these into a flower cycle after this week as well so stay tuned for that new! :) You will notice a week missing in our two diaries that are going because one of our members had moved and we needed to get a new camera.
