2019-03-11 => 2019-03-17 (D22 - D28)
Transplanted the twins in 1 gallon smartpots.
LST to create the 12 and 6 tops after topping
Probably added too much nutes (as some nutes are already in the new light mix soil), so i had to flush one of the plants and dry the pot. Bad start!
2019-03-18 => 2019-03-24 (D29 - D35)
It seems the nute OD is getting healed.
Second topping for Plant1.
I'm not topping Plant2 a second time, as i want to compare both yields.
2019-03-25 => 2019-03-31 (D36 - D42)
Defoliating, romoving small branches that don't and won't see the light.
Then it's SCROG time!
A friend of mine built a SCROG frame from scrap wood.
The frame fits the box perfectly, it should allow me to optimize the small area of the growbox.
2019-04-01 => 2019-04-07 (D43 - D49 / F1 - F7)
Switching light to 12/12 This is the first time i'm growing a photo plant, so i'm kind of happy to do this :)
At D43 (F1) I realized i forgot to add Bio Bloom and Top Max in the previous weeks (it's the 1st time i'm using this nutes, i didn't really pay attention to the guidelines).
I'm adding a drop of Atami Silic Boost.
Regarding the 2 clones you see in this week's diary, they now have their own diary:
Clone1: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/30622-critical-2-0-26w-led
Clone2: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/30623-critical-2-0-26w-led-bonsai
The 2 other clones were given to a friend.
2019-04-08 => 2019-04-14 (D50 - D56 / F8 - F14)
The plants stretch a lot.
I'm a bit concerned with the height of the box.
I hope the small pots, LST and the SCROG will be enough to prevent the plant to be too tall.
2019-04-15 => 2019-04-21 (D57 - D63 / F15 - F21)
They both keep stretching... please stop! haha!

2019-04-22 => 2019-04-28 (D64 - D70 / F22 - F28)
Seems like the stretch stopped! I'm happy :D
Smell is strong.
I replaced my Sunon fan with a real bathroom extractor on F28.

I added an extraction tube to my bathroom extractor on F31.

2019-05-06 => 2019-05-12 (D78 - D84 / F36 - F42)
Not so many pics this week, i was out of town for a few days.
Everything seems to be fine in my growbox!
Buds are like 20cm high on Plant2, and like 12cm on Plant1.
2019-05-13=> 2019-05-19 (D85 - D91 / F43 - F49)
Started flushing with pHed water on day D89 / F47.
Plant1 is more advanced than Plant2... Even if i won't harvest both plants at the same time, I prefer to flush them at the same time.
2019-05-20=> 2019-05-26 (D92 - D98 / F50 - F56)
Plant1 is more advanced than Plant2...
I decided to harvest the 12 tops of Plant1, and leave its bottom buds under the light until the Plant2 is ready.
Then i stretched 3 branches of Plant2 on the left side of the box for a better light penetration.
2019-05-27=> 2019-06-02 (D99 - D105 / F57 - F63)
The fluffy buds of the left plant start to get bigger!
Cutting top buds was a good idea.
Too bad i don't have any pics of those fluffly buds...
2019-06-03=> 2019-06-08 (D106 - D112 / F64 - F69)
Here are the 2 plants before the harvest.
Left plant was harvested 4 days before right plant (06-04 and 06/08).
I used the space between the stems of the right plant to veg a clone.
For some reason the captions don't work on the harvest's pictures, GD keeps asking to "Restore the original data" :(
🌱🌱🌱 63.11g with a 52W LED - 1.21g per Watt 🌱🌱🌱
This is the first time i'm growing a photoperiod plant.
This Critical 2.0 was really easy to grow, easy to top, manipulate and train.
I have a few seeds left and started clones of it, can't wait for the new harvests!
Smoke is good and really tasty, piny/citrus.

🌱🌱🌱 63.11g with a 52W LED 🌱🌱🌱
This is the first time i'm growing a photoperiod plant.
This Critical 2.0 was really easy to grow, easy to top, manipulate and train.
This was a test for topping: is it better to have 6 or 12 tops?
🌱 The plant with the 12 tops yielded 25.58g (0.9oz)
🌱 The plant with the 6 tops yielded 37.53g (1.32oz)
Growing these seeds was longer than growing autos, but it allowed me to train the plant the way i liked.
Final net dry weight is 63.11g, which i think is pretty much OK considering the 52W LED and the 26x36cm box.
@ChefDan420, Yeah, 52W! Check week #1 for more info about the setup, and about the light itself. It's quite rare to find people using 200W (or less) on this website. I like this challenge :)
@w33dl3, thank you! i'm trying to improve and optimize space. I used to grow autos, but this time it's not. I wanted to top my plants many times until all the floor space was used... so, using autos was impossible.
You managed to get 63g from only 52watts of power used, I would call that a successful harvest my friend 👍
I know many growers who try for years to archive that magic gram/watt and you smashed it 👊
Congratulations on the harvest of our Critical+2.0 mate, nice to see a few jars filled and some canna butter made 👌
Enjoy 👍
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, Hi Mark ! I'm happy with that gram/watt ratio, it's amazing. First time i'm growing a photo, and it was a success. Topping, training, time and good genetics are the key!
Thanks 👍
AxlWeed
Looking good 👏🏻 Pretty fukn nice for 52W👍🏼 I personally don’t like autos but I have seen really nice ones.
Having said that I’ll elaborate 🗯️
1. I simply can’t afford 💰Not financially well off so the electric ⚡️ is expensive 🙁
2.Have not gotten good yields with the few that I have done 🙁
3. Limited or no manipulation allowed 🙁 I like the challenge of training for ⚖️strong yields
4. The heat of having the 💡💡💡lights on☄️Is too much. I have my little setup in a detached building that has 🚫no AC. I live in a warm climate anyway
5 weeks into bloom with our Critical+2.0 and those buds are filling out a treat 👌
I'm all caught up now and will continue to drop in as you update 👍
Keep up the great work and thank you for choosing our genetics for this adventure on the grow diary platform 👊
All the best ✌️
Mark..
@DinafemSeeds, I've heard that 0 nuts water makes the plant(leaves) store their nutrients, and that make a harsh smoke, the solution is to give 10% nutrients, so it will feel in need to use the nutrients from leaves, is that true? Maybe use 10% in the first days, then change to 0.
Btw, that might be only applied to Hydro.
