July 3/4 2025:
The seeds spent about 24 hours in glasses of water, then today on the 4th they were transferred into separate Ziploc bags with wet paper towels.
I prefer to place the seeds underneath the paper towel with the plastic underneath the seed so that the taproot doesn't bury itself in paper towel--a rare occurrence but always a possibility.
-
July 5 2025:
Both Fruity Pebbles incognito seeds have taproots showing as of 6pm, and they've now been planted in fresh coco coir and perlite mix (with a dash of bone meal) in seedling cups, and placed inside the seedling tent where it's warm and humid with a small amount of circulation.
-
July 8 2025:
The Seedlings are seeing light for the first time.
-
July 9 2025:
The Fruity Pebble 2.0's are doing well, while the incognitos are a little slower to push out seed leaves but they're looking ok for now. I suspect the Incognito seeds are a little old, so I'll need to be more watchful of them. I'll consider tomorrow Day 1 as laterals are just starting to show this evening on the Fruity Pebble 2.0s.
-
Future:
Seedlings will be repotted into 1 gallon fabric pots as a final container, in a mix of 60% coco coir, 20% perlite, 15% worm castings, 3% Diatomaceous Earth, 1% Blood Meal, 1% Bone Meal, and they will eventually be watered/fed with AC Infinity self-watering bases--which technically are a form of hydroponics that still allow for top watering to flush excess nutrients back down into the base, where the roots can uptake those nutrients in between feeding cycles if need be.

Week 1:
The incognitos had trouble getting rid of their seed shell, to the point where it was contorting the seedling leaves and stopping the first leaves from growing. I had to help pick away their helmets carefully. The fruity pebble 2.0s didn't have this issue.
Nothing wrong with the FP2 sisters, although one is bigger than the other by maybe 15-20%, which has been the case since sprouting. Could be a genetic variance or just a sign of better health in the bigger sister, but visually there's not much difference in height or shape, just like clones which speaks to the stability of the strain.
The Incognito seedlings are weird. One has an extra side shoot. My gut tells me it's a female trait if my intuition is on point. The other seedling is a trifoliate, which is usually a male trait when germinating regular seeds--according to anecdotal evidence from other growers.

Week 2:
Plants have taken well to being repotted into my own soil blend (Coco Coir, Perlite, Worm Castings, Diatomaceous Earth, Blood Meal, Bone Meal), with Incognitos greening up quickly and Fruity Pebble 2.0's take a few days to start getting some healthy color after being put through seedling purgatory.
I'm still feeding the plants a thin formula of pH Perfect Grow Micro Bloom with their water, and I'll wait for the plants to tell me if I need to increase nutrients. The soil alone is rich in organic nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and micronutrients already, so I'm playing to my strengths of organic fertilizers and supplementing with small amounts of pH Perfect unless the plants start asking for seconds.
I'm about to harvest the Fruity Pebbles 2.0. Would love to see your results seeing as the other two people who uploaded the strain were years ago and my plant is not acting the same as theirs whatsoever. Good luck on your grows!
