Not much to add, still growing.
Will begin some lst later.
Struggling to keep the rel. humidity above 25%, even with my humidifier going.
Might have to rethink some things in the grow room.
Also still have some Vodoo juice from a previous grow, so decided to give it a go.
Seeing some slight upward clawing on the leaves, figure it either too much with the fan or overwatering.
So moved the fan up and away for a bit and will let her dry more thoroughly before the next watering.
Any advice further would be good :)
Got some advice to switch to an 20hr light schedule, which seemed to work on the upwards curling leafs.
Other than that just been watering with pure water when dry.
She seems to grow well.
Day 22, first signs of starting flowering.
Time to switch gears with the feeds 😎
Not much to say here.
Might be a little early on the flowering, would have liked a week more.
But still seems to be stretching, so might grow nice and tall now.
Will only do LST to get light onto the lower branches now.
May have stunted her a bit, by defoliating a little to much.
But she seems to have recovered and is growing steadily.
Hopefully the smaller tops in the middle will catch up and start stretching a bit. Will let her do her thing now.
Side note, getting a lot more thirsty now. Went from feeding once a week, to more than twice a week. 😎
So I guess all my LST and slight defoliation have stunted her a bit.
Would have like to have seen a little more stretch.
But I did do some quite heavy LST, so maybe I stole a lot of the stretch for that.
She does have a lovely smell right now, flowery and sweet, but nothing overpowering.
Definitely starting to get a bit frosty, just hope she will fatten up a lot the next weeks.
Just more of filling in, and starting to mature a bit.
Won't be long now :D
Oh, and starting feed a bit on herself, some leaves are starting to go yellow
Part 1: Harvest
Growing was fairly easy, but not the biggest yield.
I think i stressed her into flower atleast a week early, which meant a little low yield.
But no problems with tricky feeding or anything.
Wet weight: 124g
Part 2: Smoke report
Just recieved my Pax3, and went straight in for a test with Charlottes Angel.
Considering it my first vape, only joints before, I find it as the smoothest bud I've tasted. Very sweet and a taste i have a hard time putting a finger on, but good. Could taste it hours later.
The effect was a little as a head rush at first, but very mildly and only for 5 mins. Could still feel the sense of being medicated for a long while, even after only two good drags.
Perfect for a day medication, definitely recommend.
will update on effect on Fibromyalgia when tested.
Update:
- Forgot all about updating with effects on the effects:
- Sadly not a lot of effect, with the purely CBD strain on the pain, but this is for someone that has done lots of opiates, and have a high tolerance.
Look at the Stresskiller strain I've grown instead, as that gave a lot better results, but also more of a high of course. (made the patient very chatty)
- I sometimes use this at parties and gatherings, as it's just a great at releasing tension and make me a bit more social :P
- Will definitely grow again, but have so many strains in my seedbank that I want to try before I regrow any strains.
Would definitely wait a week or so longer with LST, and go way lower on the defoliation.
But other than that I'm happy with the outcome, will last me a while.
@@Lucimago, hey man, looking forward to seeing your tent full of green. And that is one chill dog, will follow your grow as well. Hope she can deliver the cdb ratio they claim, will be used mostly for oil for a family member with fibromyalgia ;)
Hey man, your last post is almost word for word my thoughts on my Charlotte 😂
Stunted? Too much lst? Maybe the defoliation? Lovely smell. Same nutrients too lol.
@aRecreationalist, you may be right but on the other hand check other Charlottes on Growdiaries. It might just be genetics, maybe this strain is just this small.
I agree on waiting longer before lst, I also imposed this rule for myself for next time.
@@@Lucimago, I think maybe a mix of the two, defoliation and lst. But I did to a very aggresive lst, almost a form of mainlining. But without topping. She grew very close, maybe due to a 24hr light period the first 2-3 weeks. So I felt like I had to defoliate a bit, and get rid of small budsites (removing popcorn). But I did too much at once, and may have stressed/stunted her growth due to it. Only ever used Biobizz, but I like them. Never had a burn or lack of nutrients with them :D
Edit: The next one i grow will get to grow taller before starting lst.
Some of your fan leafs look a bit curly on the serated edges a bit shiny too nothing serious but looks like it had a bit high of nitrogen levels built up at one point . cant really tell tho look under the leafs and look for that curl. If its there she def had a bit of nitro toxicity at one point . very mild looking tho but that can cause recovery time too . it happened to my auto too .
