This week the GC faced some serious nitrogen toxicity. I flushed her out to remove build up of veg nutes in the soil and so far new growth appears to be doing ok. The blue dream on the other hand is going nicely with pistil development happening everywhere. BD is appearing to stretch as is the GC to a lower degree. omegaman

Hello. Having some issues with mainly top leaves beginning to fold downwards at the sides. I am believing it to be under watering but would like some other opinions please. Have been dealing with gnat issues and have also sprayed milk/bicarb to try help with these issues. Thanks!

Crooked leaves + dark green colour = Niteogen excess . The gnats aren't making things easier , you should add a layer on your soil like perlite or anything that could stop the progression of the gnats , it's very hard to get rid of them. Your milk would have help with fungus but not the fungus gnats, and the bicarbonate would not be harmful except with a high dosage.

Nutrient burn has slowed down. Pistil development has been ramped up and the BD is looking good whilst the GC is only slightly lacking behind. Am a bit worried I will get a lot of larfy fluffy buds so have been trying to lightly leaf strip and weave fan leaves to help create a more even even canopy.

Nice progress this week. Buds are starting to form. Some frost is starting to form. Gnats are slowing down, brought some sticky traps and killed quite a few over night. Less visible gnats. No nute burn, if anything a slight nitrogen def i think, some leaves can appear a bit silver.

@omegaman101,I think I planted seed around thanksgiving. Low humidity in house I think that i why they did not grow big in veg. I am using 2 kind 200 watt leds, and 1 200 watt blackdog led in there. I had them in a 2x4, and had to take them out. I put them in my 8x4, and thinking of breaking out the 1k watt balck dog led now.

If u can, grab some diatomaceous earth from your local produce store. It kills fungus gnats.
