TerpToad Strain number two in this sativa grow will be Stardawg by B-S-B genetics. I want to taste some intense gas flavors in this one and went with a british seedhouse since this strain is super popular in Great Brittain. The seed was placed directly in BioBizz lightmix inside a small greenhouse.

TerpToad Smooth start with no complaint but a little stretchy. I raised the light intensity a bit since she clearly wants it. Nothing else to report so far :)

TerpToad I was gone for 10 days and my plants did really well under the care of my plant sitter. I returned midway thorugh week 3 of veg to a bunch of beautiful plants and started mainlining. To save some time in veg I will use 4 sidebranches as my base instead of just 2. this way its not a classic manifold, but since its my first time mainlining I guess this will work just fine to learn about the technique. I also turned on the AutoPot system, the plants are now drinking on their own.

TerpToad Week 4 and this stardawg is truly in veg. She shows explosive growth since I turned on the AutoPots, in fact she is growing much bigger than her two sisters. The branches are pretty stretchy, so I guess I can only go up to 8 tops before I run out of place to stake them down. Next topping will be done by the start of next week.

TerpToad What an amazing phenotype this Stardawg is so far! She continues to explode with growth. The second topping was done halfway through last week, and the final 8 branches are already thickening up. They will soon reach their final locations with the LST and will then be allowed to stack up growth in preparation of flower. For sure this one has the potential to become a monster of a plant.

TerpToad Great growth on Stardawg so far. I dont think additional training is necessary apart from defoliation and lollipopping down the line. She will get a few more days to bulk up following a darkness period before switching to 12/12 next week. In preparation for flower I added 40 grams of BioBloom as a topdressing. There will be another feeding three weeks into flower.

TerpToad Finally - flower! I turned of the lights for 36 hours to introduce flowering. This way I hope to get a somewhat even onset of flower across the three different strains I grow in this tent. Stardawg turned into a dense bush, but stayed fairly low. I hope for some stretching in the next few days to get a better view inside her canopy.

TerpToad After the first week of bloom, she is stretching much less than her sisters. Maybe she will get going in the following week, maybe she will stay a shorter but bushier plant, either way she is looking healthy and promising. I am itching on giving her a defoliation, but I will wait until we fully arrive in flower.

TerpToad After the second week of 12/12 the first buds are showing. Not so much of a stretch so far, this Stardawg prefers a dense, bushy growth pattern. I removed some lower branches and a bunch of leafes, before adding a ring made out of wire to push the branches apart from each other. This way I want to achieve more light penetration and install a support for the branches in case they get to heavy later on in flower. I added BioBloom accordingly to the instructions for a flowering period of 10 weeks and some additional BioGrow. There are little roots all over the fabric pot, so I guess she is searching for additional nutrients

Uk stardawg grown by the right people is a 10/10 smoke. Hope you are blessed with the same genetics as we have here. Not 100% which brand people use here to be fair 👽😺

@Thedibber, I have high hopes! Do you only come across the super gassy stardawg or are there other phenotypes to look out for?

Thedibber commented2mo ago
@TerpToad, Its mainly gassy but theres a few different pheno's forsure. Some more on the garlic side of gas others are fuel gas etc. Im sure either one you get it will be tasty 👌
