It suffered less from the lack of water than the Tropicanna, but it also seems more indica. I tried to train it a lot to reduce its growth, and I like the result. For those interested, I'm at latitude 43° north. Flowering began on August 1st, and harvest will be just before the end of September.

I planted chili pepper plants at the base, they're growing, but they're being smothered by the real plant.

secretcedar Day 91: This week, the plant had a big stretch and is now 1.70 meters tall. It's a beautiful, very vigorous plant, and the stem has grown very thick. It's starting to drink a lot of water.

secretcedar Day 98: The plant seems to be growing again; it's caught up with the poison ivy. It looks in great shape, and I'm waiting for the flowers to swell. I started adding Green Sensation this week.

secretcedar Day 105: The weather was overcast and windy this week, so I had to water it at least. The plant has grown really tall. I like its structure even though some of the crowns haven't developed. I might do some defoliation.

secretcedar Day 112: This week, the flowers really started to grow and smell. The large leaves are starting to turn yellow; things are progressing well. Despite a lot of rain and only two stakes with raffia to tie the branches together, I haven't had any damage.

secretcedar Day 119 The heads are also growing well, the smell is developing. The plant withstood storms well. I also made homemade calcium acetate because I saw that there were purslanes in my pots and that they liked soils poor in calcium. My fertilizers didn't contain any, I thought that the one contained in the water was enough.

secretcedar Day 126: The calcium acetate has also helped this plant; the scent and size of the buds have increased significantly. The trunk and stems are very large. The chili pepper plants below have still grown, and I have one flowering. I have a feeling the chili peppers will be amazing.

secretcedar Day 132 It's been much cooler this week, and the plants are using much less water. I'm wondering whether to harvest it on Tuesday or wait another week. A little rain is forecast, but it should be very light. I thought the buds would get bigger, but that's not happening. The buds are really loaded with big trichomes. Otherwise, I've defoliated to allow the smaller, lower buds to grow bigger.
