I’m curious to see what happens if I grow a Cream Cookies in this bonsai pot. This pot has been the house of my old Ficus Retusa that unexpectedly died this winter. RIP 🙏
I don’t know the capacity, but I’ll take some measures. I’ll be growing this baby indoor for the first weeks, and mainly outdoor for the flowering period. I think I’ll top her once so I’ll be able to spread every branch around to make her flatter.
Not much expectations, just having some fun! 😃
Day 1 (April 12, 2019): planted the seed
Day 4 (April 15, 2019): sprout
She’s feeling good under the 600w cob panel. I hope Mykos is doing well down there. I’m watering with rainwater only for the moment.
Day 14 (April 25, 2019): I discovered the timer was keeping the light 24/7 on! She seems hungry by looking at the leaves. Will be giving the first nutrients next week. 💪
Everything fine!
She’s getting bigger, and her roots too, because when I give her water, she doesn’t bend around anymore.
Day 15 (April 26, 2019): she was hungry, she got food! Exactly like a Queen. 👱♀️🏻👗👑
Day 19 (April 30, 2019): topped over the 3rd node.
Day 21 (May 2, 2019): removed the 1st node and started a 4-way LST.
Yay she’s growing so fast now that preflowers showed up. LST needs to be adjusted every other day. This week I added Biomagno Alghe and Neem Flour over the soil, and she’s feeling great with them. It seems like she didn’t even notice the first node top from last week. What a monster!
Day 27 (May 8, 2019): 50g of BatMagno (bat guano) over the soil, then 1.5L of tap water with nutrients reported above @ 1ml/L.
She started flowering and created the flowers in just a few days. She's really, really fast! And this 4-way LST structure is just amazing, symmetric and wonderful. I thought the bat guano I added last week was a little much, but now all the leaves are slowly pointing up again. Because of this, this week I'm giving just water because it seems like she doesn't need many nutes except some more-than-average levels of potassium. Yay!
On day 33 I decreased lamp distance from 100cm to 70cm.
Wow look at her! She doing good and growing super fast. Last week I noticed I was giving too many nutrients, so this week I have one last shot with flowering ones, with the plan of giving only water until the end. Even because this is week 6, and she should finish between week 8 and 9.
Her smell is incredibly similar to cookies and cream, so big up for FastBuds for their reliability!
Wow, she’s getting FAT!! 😍
Her leaves were a little too dark lately, and I think I gave way too many nutrients. In fact now a few tips are a little burned!
Since I’m getting to the end, I started giving only water, except a shot of Florastimo which should improve the taste and the creation of essential oils.
I think she should be ready by the end of week 9, but possibly week 10 too!
Wow!!!! I clearly didn't expect something like this when I started, but I think I got a good match between strong lights and amazing genetics. Her flowers are really big right now, and what about the smell? SO DANK!!! I was just wondering why she doesn't have many trichomes on her flowers, but I think it's related to the constant 30-33C I have inside the room at the moment. That 600W cob panel generates a lot of heat, and since summer is almost here, it's getting very hot overall. I can't do anything about it except pointing two fans to her, so my fingers are crossed.
What a pity for that burned tips!!! It's my fault because I exaggerated with nutes in the past weeks. Right now I'm flushing her with PH 6.5 tap water, and with this heat she's sucking 2L instead of the past 1.5L. Harvest? Possibly next week, but I'm not totally sure. For the moment all the trichomes are transparent. Maybe a few of them are cloudy. Let's see what happens!
Last week for this beauty! Her smell is fabulous, and she's now slowly fattening her flowers. Pistils are almost all red/brown, and trichomes all cloudy. I'll chop her down next week. In the meantime, I wanted to take many flowers photos because they're beautiful!
I had so much fun with this badass girl. She’s been really easy to grow, and even to trim. I still don’t know the size of the bonsai pot I used, but I think it was between 3 and 5 liters. This grow started as something not too serious, but when I saw that purple leaves and flowers, I felt like I needed to take some good pictures.
----- HOW SHE GROWS -----
She grows fast! I trained her in order to get a 4-way LST structure, but I think it would be better I if topped her over the 3rd node and created a 6 big main colas structure. She does like medium dosages of organic nutes, but I discovered she likes even more when you alternate nutes with plain water. With a hard tap water (pH > 7.5), it’s always better to correct the pH to 6.5 before pouring the solution into the pot.
----- TASTE AND AROMA -----
Unfortunately she doesn’t taste and smell like cream or cookies, but she leaves a sweet pleasant taste to the mouth.
----- GENERAL EFFECT -----
I like her because she’s a fun strain. Perfect for both day and nighttime. The high is amazing: it firstly stimulates your mind, then slowly shifts into a body high that immediately results pretty enjoyable. I like the fact she doesn’t give you strong munchies, red eyes or dried mouth, but maybe just a little hangover the next day when you smoke her late in the evening.
----- CONCLUSIONS -----
In the end I got 42 grams divided into 4 big frosty colas, and about 16 smaller ones. Easy to grow and perfect high. I think I’ll grow her again. It’s the perfect strain if you want to chill, stay positive and think about happy things. The only bad note is the taste, which doesn’t really remind me of cream or cookies.
Update: after 1 month, the taste reminds now a lot more of cream and cookies. Perfect!!!
Thanks so much @Nebula420 for all the love and the positivity!!! 😍 Never heard about Puer tea: I've just read something about it on Google. Does it work in the long term? I've always been into teas and I love experimenting new ones. I saw that someone suggests to drink Puer tea with green tea!
@TOTEM, with your technic and may be some of my ideas dude - in all humility 🙌...i'am sure that you can increase your skill to a next level 👊
feel free to take a look bro. thx ! i am on an experimental test around fungi/bacteria and bio char...i have a plan in my brain and i want to see how it could work..
.any help will be appréciated dude
🙏
Very nice grow 🙌💪 pretty flowers, this has me wondering about the whole "auto's taproot" theory, but I'm sure master grow skills have something to do with it too!
40g in a bonsai pot, respect @Totem and @Fast_Buds
Happy growing 😁
Great looking organics! I’m not an expert but I did learn from an old timer this past go round that early on in flower to push the phosphate and potash to the brink of tip burn without actually doing in. Granted my system is different but the results were astounding as I upped my game in week 3 all four plants have massive rock hard flowers and maybe I should just chock it up to genetics and luck. I’m constantly watching your garden to make mine better and learn from your topping and great manifolds technique. Thanks for taking the time to share such a thorough diary.
