Today I officially started my new grow journey. I placed two beans into germination β one of them being a Black Auto Opium π€ from Divine Seeds πΏ, part of a sponsored row for the contest π I was accepted into. Big thanks π to Divine Seeds for the opportunity! π
For germination, I used my usual method: seeds tucked into wet tissue π§ inside a Tupperware container π±.
I like to keep them with me at all times β theyβre literally always on me π€². Iβve experimented with body heat π₯ germination before, and while this time it isnβt intentional βheat-assisted germination,β the seeds still benefit from that closeness π.
From past experience, this method usually gives me sprouted seeds within about 24 hours β³, so Iβm expecting to see those first little taproots very soon π±π.
This marks the first official step π of this run β excited to see where it goes! β¨ππ€π±

Today the little one π£ finally got a cozy new home π‘ for the time being.
She went into Biobizz Light Mix πΏ with some Perlite and Rootmax β¨ sprinkled in, all inside a 0.5 L container .
She got a gentle drink β 100 ml of water with just a splash of root juice .
The mix going in was balanced: pH 6.25 , 172 ppm , temperature 25Β°C .
I watered in a little donut circle around her to encourage the roots to spread outward.
To keep the humidity nice π¦, I placed a shot glass π₯ over her, making a tiny greenhouse dome π±π.
She looks happy and comfortable β¨ β a strong start for this little Auto Black Opium π€. Stay tuned πππ€π±

The little one π€ is doing good, though she showed a few small signs of stress ππΏ.
I think itβs because I neglected her a bit while dealing with a lot of other things.
But now sheβs back on a good track πβ¨. Iβll be transplanting her soon β‘οΈ, and weβll see how she settles in.
For now, the Auto Black Opium π€π± is staying strong. Sheβs getting light sprays π¦ and Iβm keeping the humidity balanced both in the air and in the medium π«οΈ.
Sheβs resilient, and Iβm excited to see her push forward again. Onward to healthier days ππ±π€.
Stay tuned πππ€π±

Today big milestone π: I transplanted both the Black Opium Auto π€ and the Fractal Automatic π. Both were at just the right point in time β³ β their roots looked exactly how I wanted them to be π€².
They each moved into 6L Rooties textile pots, filled with BioBizz LightMix πΏ + lots of perlite (almost a 50/50 mix). At the bottom, I laid down a little warm hummus π + some spent coffee grounds β, topped with RootMax β¨. During transplant, I also sprinkled TNC Β΅+ directly on the roots for that extra boost.
She got a fresh drink π§ β 150 ml of water from a mix I had prepared for another plant πΏ. It was packed with goodies β¨. The numbers going in: pH 6.05 βοΈ, ppm 230 π, temp 21Β°C π‘οΈ.
Now theyβre settled in their new homes π‘π±, looking very happy and healthy. Iβve got high hopes π for strong growth ahead and canβt wait to see how they develop.
Stay tuned πππ€π±

@UnorthadoxDude, βΉοΈ Botrytis is a b**chβΉοΈ
Sorry to hear that, wish the best for the other one.
I neglected them a little βΉοΈ both the black opium and fractal. They were just under 33 watts until yesterday. I don't think they will get big but I will see.π πdoesn't matter, have more beans and if the ones I have now don't make it or show no potential i can start new ones. But the right wayπ
