So this is my first grow. I mixed my growing media 2 parts peat moss to 1 part fox farm ocean forest in five gallon pots. I am wanting to grow organic and have an all purpose 4-4-4 fertilizer and my other fertilizer is 2-5-3. My question is when should I start to amend with a top dressing and how much of each fertilizer should I use? Thanks for the help and this platform.
If you have the fox farm id say you can wait at least a few weeks. And with the top dressing, I'd recommend a couple tablespoons spread on top, possibly as the plant get further along you may want to change to 1/3 + cup of dressing and then eventually change to a bloom like top dress the 2-5-3. Id start the 2/5/3 just before your flip to 12/12. And just watch for any deficiences to increase the top dress.

So this week I decided to top this one. Started to use some mild notes.
Day19; 20oz nutes ph5.8, 1/2 gal kitchen water ph6.8.
Day 20; am pest spray #1 treatment.
Pest spray 1 recipe, 2 cups water, 1tsp dish soap, 10 drops tea tree essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, 10 drops orange essential oil.
Pest spray 2 recipe, 2 cups water, 1tsp dish soap, 10 drops Clove essential oil, 10 drops peppermint essential oil, 10 drops rosemary essential oil.
Spray pest spray on plants durring dark period or shortly prior to lights turning on.

Day 33; Striped the fan leaves from the bottom nodes just to clean things up a bit and to help with air circulation. Sprayed with pest spray #1.

Day 50: 06/01; soil was decently dry so watered 1.5 gallons water ph at 6.8. No run off. Noticed some roots poking through the bottom.
Day 51: 06/02; took 4 cutting.
My simple cloning process; *take cuttings and place in water right away. *strip leave from bottom up to 3-5 nodes left from the top. *Cut several leaves in half on remaining nodes. *Use shrap scissors to cut a 45 degree angle on the stem making the cutting about 6 inches tall now. Rough up the bottom half inch of cutting stem. *Dip cutting in honey and then place cutting in growing medium. *Cover cutting with plastic bag. *Spray inside of bag and plant once a day with water for first 7-10 days.

Day 102 07/22, started brewing compost tea: 1 solo cup of FFOF, 1 solo cup peat moss with mycorrhizae, 2tbsp jobes organics all purpose (4-4-4), 2tbsp Jones organics bone meal (2-14-0), 2tbsp Jones organics vegetable & tomato (2-5-3), 1tbsp molasses.

Day 114 08/03, there's some foxtailing on some of the higher bud sites, gonna add a fan to hopefully help stop this.

09/09, Harvest day! While trimming the dead leaves off several seeds were found so this girl hermida on me. Oh well for my first grow not too bad I think. Found three good seeds but I'm sure I will find more after the drying period.
