UnorthadoxDude Hello growmies and welcome to my latest diary, I am really exicted for this one, which will be something a bit different.
We will be starting this girl off in the tent, but then moving her out into the new greenhouse and planting them straight into the prepared ground.
The genetics selected are Gubblebum Auto by St Aubin's Genetics based out of Michigan, USA. Mike at St Aubin's very kindly sent me some of his genetics to try out, and I am very grateful to him for that. If you want some yourself check out his official website at www.staubingenetics.com all his beans are thirty bucks for a dozen and you can choose feminized or regular. He also does awesome value mystery packs. He is sure making a buzz on the X cannabis community.
Speaking of X, if you don't already follow me over there, I've love to link up with you. I refollow accounts posting original grow content.
The nutrition for this grow is as yet undecided.

UnorthadoxDude Welcome to week one, this will be a greenhouse grow but for now Bunny is being started in a small pot of coco, after popping in paper towel.
I will update throughout the week so check back later for more.
Day 2 - Some light stretch for Bunny, have rearranged tent to give her more light.
Day 4 - Bunny still stretching. Not a huge amount I can currently do about that.
Day 7 - Have raised up Bunny a little. She is leggy so I have had to add supports. When I plant her into the ground I will plant them a bit deeper to resolve this issue.

UnorthadoxDude Week five! Bunny is still inside! I will be putting her outside soon.
Bunny is not showing any signs of flower as yet.
Day 29 - Photographed.
Update: Greenhouse is built!! Will be moving Bunny in tomorrow.
Day 33 - Planted out into the greenhouse and fertigated 5l.
After attempting to prepare the ground for transplant, I discovered that it was compacted, dry, and full of tree roots - very hard to work and very poor quality. The time to prepare the soil, and the cost of the amendments I would need have forced my hand somewhat and I have had to improvise. So let me present to you my hybrid growing strategy for this plant: coco-in-ground.
I've dug a big 50l (13.2 gal) hole and filled it with Canna Professional Plus Coco Coir mixed with 20% horticultural perlite. I will continue to feed coco nutrients as if the plant was simply in a 50l pot. However if she wants to root herself into the ground also? That's her business.
By now you guys following me should expect things like this, you know I love to experiment.

UnorthadoxDude Week six! Bunny is stretching like crazy, I don't think she likes the mylar sheeting privacy shield I have put around the greenhouse. I will have to replace this with some form of whitewash.
Day 37 - Photographed and fertigated 5l each.
Day 39 - Photographed. Bunny seem to have realised she has more space now and is stretching out in all directions, but mostly UP!

UnorthadoxDude Week seven! Bunny is massive compared to her sister Butterfly. She is still stretching like mad, I must get some white wash and remove the mylar sheeting.
Day 43 - Photographed.
Day 46 - Fertigated 5l each
Day 47 - Something fishy is going on here. It is week seven and this Gubblebum Auto plant is still not flowering. 😯 Meanwhile her sister (Butterfly) has been flowering for weeks.
Day 48 - Great news, Bunny is finally showing signs of flowering! This is by far the oldest I have had an auto flower so far. I am really curious to see how much she stretching in flower. I genuinely hope it is not "double".
