Germination

Canna96 All 5 seeds popped within 72 hours of germination. They are in 16 ounce solo cups with Pro Mix Seedling starter mix. Once the roots fill out the solo cups, they will be transplanted into 3.4 gallon airpots., around day 14 or so hopefully. They will then get hooked up to an automatic drip watering system that will hit them off every 6 hours. I am planning to mainline most if not all of the plants, and flip them before they get too huge. Instead of growing one massive plant, I prefer to have a variety of smoke on hand. Thanks for stopping by, have a great rest of your weekend, and stay safe.

Canna96 Seedlings are looking great, I will transplant them into their final 3.4 gallon airports sometime next week around day 17 to 20. They will then start in Coco Coir with high frequency fertigation. I am still leaning towards building mainlines out of all five. thanks for stopping by, stay safe and Blaze On!

Canna96 The ladies are coming along well. I am hoping to get the next toppings done in about a week or so, then the final toppings will be within several days of that. I am down to a quarter pound of green so it will be nice to have some fresh flower in a few months. This is the slow part, once the mainline is built, these ladies will take off. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and Blaze on!

Canna96 All toppings were completed on day 42. I am doing minor LST and letting them grow for about 2 or 3 weeks max, then flipping to flower. They look pretty good but a few are definitely growing faster than the others but we'll see what happens. Stay safe and Blaze on.

Canna96 This week went great, I did some low stress training as I am just working on keeping all the tops as level as I can. I am planning to veg for between one and two weeks and then flip to flower. Stay safe and Blaze on.

Canna96 I am just doing more LST as all the mainlines are built. I also did some light defoliation on all the ladies. I will veg them for one more week and then flip to flower. I am also running a 315 watt CMH bulb for flower. Have a great weekend, stay safe and Blaze on!

Canna96 The ladies are looking pretty good, I did a light defoliation on day 55 and flipped to flower today on day 56. I am using two 315 watt CMH for flower. I might throw in a scrog net if I need to, I'll see how crazy things get with these girls. I will defoliate again in another 2 weeks and that will be that. I hope everyone has a great weekend, stay safe and Blaze on.

Canna96 This week went great, first week of flower and I'm still feeding veg nutes. All 5 ladies stretched this week and are all showing their first signs of flower in pistils. The tallest is the Durban nights, which I already anticipated from past grows at 30" and the shortest is the Cherry Garcia R1 at 21". I will start the transition from veg nutes to flower nutes later this week, and will start with about 2/3 veg and 1/3 flower and increase the flower nutes slowly over about 10 days. I also did another light defoliation today and cleaned the reservoir. Not much to do from here on out except minor defoliation and fill the reservoir. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and Blaze on!

Canna96 This week went well, I transitioned the ladies from veg to flower nutrients during the 2nd week of flower after feeding all veg nutes for week one. The stretch is close to over and due to almost running out of vertical space, the transition was completed on day 14 of flower. Not much to do other than some light defoliation and keeping the reservoir topped off. Hoping for some fat ass colas over the next couple weeks. My goal is between 2 and 3 pounds of dry flower and that looks attainable at this point. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe and Blaze on!

@bskii, Hey now, I use cheap Coco coir from a pet store that is sold for lizards but I don't recommend you do that unless you're willing to rinse and buffer it in cal mag. But I have also used canna coir, and Coco bliss and they all work great.
