Hempcules WEEK 1 I'm excited to start a new grow cycle here with the Monster Maker from Sweetseeds. I germinated the seed directly in the soil, and it worked perfectly. After just 2–3 days, I could already see the little seedling. This time, I used a mix of Light Mix and AllMix. I placed the Light Mix in the center of the pot so that the fresh seed is only lightly pre-fertilized at first and only reaches the AllMix as the roots grow deeper. I've set up a new small 60x60 grow tent to shorten the intervals between harvests. I'm curious to see how well it works. I'm really impressed with the Mars Hydro lamp—I've worked with it before—but I find the Mars Hydro app absolutely terrible. I'm excited to see what sweetseeds is making for quality. It's my first planted seed from them. Let’s see how it goes. 🙂

Hempcules WEEK 2 The first seedling unfortunately didn’t make it, so I planted a new one. It’s growing beautifully so far. There’s not much else to say for now. I’m curious to see how this strain turns out.

Hempcules WEEK 3 The plant is growing fast and good, and got her manifold by the end of the week. Light was running at 200 PPFD, and I’ve only been watering with plain water. I hope she’s similar to Permanent Marker. That’s one of my favorite strains.

Hempcules WEEK 4 Things are going good with my Monster Maker. She's responding really well to HST and has already been topped a second time. She’ll be getting a bigger pot soon so she can spread out even more. My light was running at 400 PPFD, and this week I added a bit of Biogrow and CalMag to the water once.

Hempcules WEEK 5 This Monster Maker is an absolutely fantastic plant. She's growing beautifully and responds really well to training. I've now cut her down to 8 main shoots and plan to top her again next week. I also transplanted her into a large 15L fabric pot with Plagron Grow Mix and switched over to the Plagron feeding schedule. So far, it's working out great. My light was running at 400 PPFD, and I watered her once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.

Hempcules WEEK 6 My Monster Maker has now recovered from all the heavy pruning and developed 16 nicely uniform shoots. I’m currently spreading them out a bit more evenly across the pot, and then it’ll be time to flip to flower. What I especially love here is the beautiful symmetry the plant has developed—truly a feast for the eyes. My light was running at 500 PPFD, and I watered once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.

Hempcules WEEK 7 My Monster Maker has thrived this week. She's developed a beautifully uniform structure and is otherwise absolutely healthy and vigorous. 🙂 This week, I switched the light cycle to 12 hours to send her into bloom. So far, everything about this grow has been consistently positive. Truly a great experience. I ran the lamp at 600 PPFD and watered once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.

Hempcules WEEK 8 My Monster Maker has grown monstrously large this week. It’s spread out beautifully in all directions, and I’ve already had to do a solid round of defoliation. This plant has incredible vigor and is growing like crazy. 😉 The first pistils have started to show, although it took her a while to kick off flowering. Still, I’m absolutely thrilled and convinced we’re going to see a real monster emerge here. This week, I ran the light at 800 PPFD and watered once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.

Hempcules WEEK 9 My Monster Maker is blowing up my entire setup. She just keeps growing and growing and won’t stop. I’ll have to move my fans to the outside soon, otherwise she’ll outgrow the lamp in no time. She’s not too far into flowering yet, but I’m hoping she’ll start putting more energy into that over the next few weeks instead of getting even bigger. Of course, she’s in perfect health and has kept her beautiful structure. Loads of strong shoots have developed, all nicely aligned at the same height. An absolute beast of a plant. I’m really curious about the aroma—hoping for a strong permanent marker vibe, since that’s my all-time favorite terp profile. This week, I ran the light at 800 PPFD and watered once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.
