DIY DWC system run #1

Germanator The first week went really well. I wanted to grow two plants in one bucket but as the other seed didn't find its way out of the substrate, I'm down to only this one and oh boy is she growing quickly! After four days I decided to raise the nutrient level and am now up to the recommended values from the T.A. plan. She seems to like her new home so far. The weather is pretty warm currently and I hope that my solution doesn't get too warm as I feed the air from inside the tent. So fingers crossed it all works out

Germanator Had some unwanted guests in my tent and started to use some Neemoil to get rid of them. So far the plant looks nice and healthy despite some lighter spots.

Germanator She shows some signs of stress because of the pest treatment but continues to grow explosively. Changed the nutrient solution again. Topped this week. Let's see how she copes with that.

Germanator Added some low stress training after the top cut. She pushes back incredibly strong so I had to take away a lot of leaves. Will initiate flowering next week.

Germanator Switched the light to 12/12 on Monday and removed a lot of leaves and lower branches on Saturday. This plant is a beast and always pushes back stronger and stronger no matter what you throw at her.

Germanator Had to take away even more leaves. Soon she'll take up the whole tent although I'm not planning of weaving her into a net or something. Hopefully she'll bear the weight of the Buds on her own.

Germanator That beast is thirsty. Had to fill up nutrient solution twice this week. Each time five liters makes more than a liter each day of consumption.

Germanator Finally some buds! She really took her time for transitioning. Now she really stretches and gets nicer each day. Had to fill up another 10 liters and did another round of lollipopping just to tame her a little and channel her energy to the topmost flowers.
