Am I Dreaming?

Puff_TM_Dragon I’m a few days behind on updating week one. Typical first week. Not much to report. Seedling is doing well so far.

Puff_TM_Dragon Top or train? Or both? Or Nothing? The last couple of autoflowers I basically let them do their thing and they got a little too tall for my comfort in this tent. In contrast, the auto plants I've topped remained relatively compact. I think genetics also plays a part too. Sativa leaning strains such as this tend to stretch more I think. Need to decide soon.

Puff_TM_Dragon Topped almost a week ago. Started LST. Plant is a bit leggy and needs some height management. Might be time to increase the light intensity. So far, so good. Bag weight determines watering schedule which has been infrequent thus far. 9/13

Puff_TM_Dragon Made some training clips out of electrical wire. Got a little too aggressive learning to use the clips and ended up snapping a branch. I suspect we will be entering the flowering stage this coming week.

Puff_TM_Dragon Staying on top of LST training on the daily in anticipation of flower stage. Signs of pre flower. I thought it would be blooming in earnest at this point but surely will by this time next week. No rush since it gives me a few extra days to train. Wishing I hadn’t snapped one of the branches as it’s growing asymmetrical and forcing to train it to fill in the gaps. Definitely putting off a smell when fooling with the clips. I amended the reclaimed soil in the bottom half of the bag at the start of the grow. Not sure if I should hit it with some bloom nutes and some recharge at this point. I don’t see any deficiencies at this point but it’s usually too late if you do, especially with an auto.

Puff_TM_Dragon Finally began flowering. Slow roller but looking very healthy. The wire “S” clips are not ideal but are working ok. Accidentally topped one of the branches trying to get the hang of using them. Trimmed some of the obvious leaves that were blocking the bud sites. Topped dressed a light sprinkle of Dr Earth flower girl. Watering more frequently.

Puff_TM_Dragon Couple days late updating the diary. Some light LST and minor defoliation. Not the prettiest plant in the world but she seems to be very happy at the moment. Buds are starting to fill in. It’s definitely putting off sweet odor but yet has hints of fuel as well. No nutrients in the past week but I think I’ll add a light dose of Dr Earth Flower Girl and perhaps a hit of recharge on the next watering. That should carry it to the end I think.

Puff_TM_Dragon Top dressed with Dr Earth Flower Girl. Slowly but steadily removing foliage and undergrowth. Watering about every 3-4 days. Smelling good. Backing off on the LST for no reason other than than laziness.
